2BR/2BA Walk to downtown! Near the Beach! Perfect location! The Gallery

The former Wayne Rosetti Gallery has been transformed into a vacation rental. Decorated with original art and some prints that can be purchased, the Gallery is a roomy, two-bedroom house with a media room, a washroom, and two full bathrooms. The stylish full kitchen is fully equipped for making a meal, with room for two to eat.

The dining/ living room area is open and warmly decorated. There are four flat-screen TVs in this property, so everyone who wants their own screen can have one. Three have HD antennas, the 60" screen in the media room is equipped with Apple TV so that you can stream your favorites.

Proximity to the train tracks makes this a fun spot for those with young kids. However, please note that this unit is located adjacent to the railroad crossing. Foam padding has been placed in windows directly alongside railroad tracks, but those with sensitivity to noise should consider this before booking the unit. The train is a staple of downtown life, but the whistle is not for every guest!

The Gallery is the perfect place to find comfort, peace, and solace amongst the natural beauty and art-filled community of Ocean Springs. Front Beach is less than a mile away. The Ocean Springs downtown shopping & restaurant district is only 1 & a half blocks away.

We are pet-friendly, but all dogs must be kept on a leash when outside the home.

***Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking***

***There should be no more than six people on the property unless prior permission is given. No events or parties of any kind. We have installed exterior security cameras for the safety of both guests and property outside of the home. There are no inside cameras.***

Great property

The house was conveniently located within walking distance of the downtown area which was very nice. The back courtyard was a very cool way to chill outside. The artwork throughout the property was what caught my attention on the site and it is so much cooler in person. I very much enjoyed looking through the gallery.

Rosetti Gallery stay

House is nice and as described. Govt street/downtown is just a couple of blocks away. Back patio is lovely. Internet was basically nonfunctional, and we would have preferred not having a communal laundry room in use during our stay. Overall a good experience. Ocean Springs is wonderful.

Hi Emily, happy that you enjoyed your stay! Not sure why you were having issues with the internet, as most of our guests don't, and it works whenever I'm over there before each check in. The laundry room is only used by the housekeeper during the hours of 11-3pm if there happens to be a checkout during one's stay next door. The doors are lockable by you, so most people don't have an issue with that. Happy that you had an overall good experience. Hope you come back again. Birthday trip 2024

As always we absolutely loved our time in Ocean Springs! And this little artsy house was great! Location, layout and overall cleanliness was very good! We would consider staying here again. There is a train passing occasionally. But I never heard it at night and we were not bothered by it. I personally love the sound of a train! ☺️

Not very happy

Bring your own Kleenex and toilet paper. There are no Kleenex in this rental and the toilet paper is several grades below gas stations. Some lights were out and many switches that did nothing. Granted, we may have been happier if the weather would have been warmer and we didn’t have to spend most of our time in the unit, and since it was a cold period we were asked by the host to let faucets drip and cabinet doors open to prevent freezing. Later we were told that if we were unhappy about that we should have said so and someone would have come to do it for us. The back yard is shared with another unit. I could go on, but won’t waste anyone’s time on it. Location is good and the house does shake a fair amount when the train comes by.

Hi Marvin, I truly am sorry you didn’t have a five star experience like the overwhelming majority of our guests. Thank you for saying the location was good. I am sorry the weather was not up to your liking when you arrived, which is understandable as we were going through an extreme cold freeze at the time. I asked you if you wouldn’t mind dripping the faucets at night because we didn’t want the pipes to freeze up on you, and we don’t like to intrude on our guests. Like you mentioned, you were hanging out in the unit, and we didn’t want to show up and barge in. I manage numerous other properties in Ocean Springs, and everyone I asked, was more than happy to do so. No one has complained about the toilet paper before, and we do have Kleenex in the unit. Maybe you didn’t see where it was located, but I gladly would have told you or even dropped off another box if you needed it. Hope you can find another time to come when the weather isn’t so cold! Somewhat disappointed

My family and I spend many weekends at Ocean Springs, and we have never left wanting more out of our VRBO rental. The property has a good location and the train didn't bother us at all. The owners were responsive throughout the process, but that's where the hospitality stopped. The neighbors were doing laundry in our rental when we arrived. The owners allowed them to use ours because theirs next door was broken, we waited until they finished to go inside. The problems ranged from internet/TV issues and overall neglect of the property is some areas. To start, the drain in the apartment tub is clogged and fills up when you take a shower. There is a keurig machine in the apartment, however empty pod cartridges was all that was there for us, disappointing. In the other bathroom there is black mold in multiple spots on the ceiling. My real frustration was with the TV/Internet capabilities. The VRBO description says HD antenna and Apple TV with internet. The TVs get local channels and in the year 2020 we couldn't watch anything. The internet is so poor, if someone watches Netflix on the Apple TV it takes up all the bandwidth you can't stream anything else. The apartment has an extender however again so low bandwidth we were forced to all use our OWN phones Hotspot, very disappointing. If you are going to have a rental in 2020, get HiSpeed Internet and make sure your listing says no cable because that would be more accurate and in the South during football season would have been a deal breaker for us. Lastly, the outside area is nice, however the party lights were just laying on the ground and chair with extension cords all over the place. The grill area was a plus, however it to had not been cleaned and the utensils were dirty and rusted. My family is used to renting a place that feels like home when we come to OS. This rental feels like it has had too many people in and out without the proper care and maintenance. The small things and personal touches makes people want to come back, and I am sorry to say this place missed the mark. The price this owner wants for a night/ weekend needs re-evaluated, we came with high expectations and left unfulfilled.

Hi Stewart, thank you for bringing up your concerns. I really wish you would have contacted me during your stay and I could have given you some help in regards to some of your issues... First of all, we asked you before letting the neighbors use the laundry room. You said that was fine. If it wasn't I wish you would have said otherwise. It was a one time thing because their washer unfortunately died on us during their stay. We have brand new ones in both rental units now, so this should be an issue in the future. I'm confused why you would mention anything about cable, as our listing doesn't state that we offer it... We have Apple & SmartTVs that guests can stream shows & movies. There are apps where you can watch sports, I'm sorry you didn't seem to find them. We find most of our guests are familiar with how to use Smart Tvs these days, but I would have been happy to help. As for the internet, we actually DO have high-speed internet. There are two networks on property. You must have not tried the incorrect one for your needs if you had so many issues. Again, I wish you would have contacted me and I could have assisted. I truly am sorry that your stay was not as expected. I could have definitely helped if you had asked, as the overwhelming majority of our guests give us 5 star reviews. I'm truly sorry that you could not do the same. Chris - Property Manager

Absolutely Perfect

This home was in the perfect location for walking the town! Loved the different levels of the floor as you walk through to the back of the house. Absolutely enjoyed the back yard with the pavilion! Listening to the water fountain was so peaceful! We made wonderful memories of our Thanksgiving! I enjoyed standing on the front porch and waving to the train engineer. We hope to return to this wonderful home!! Chris is very fast with responses and check in was such a breeze!

Great Location! Very Spacious!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is very spacious with two big bedrooms and two nice bathrooms. Also two big living room/den areas. And the big plus was that it was only about a block and a half from all the shops.
