Tucked away at the foot of the Malvern Hills, this property is perfectly located for walking with great access to Cheltenham and the North Cotswolds.. All on the Ground Floor:

Separate Toilet.. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed paved patio with garden furniture and gas barbecue. Front sitting-out area. Landscaped grounds (shared with owner). 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 2 cars. Wheelchair access. No smoking. Please note: There is a step in the garden.. Set in the grounds of the owner’s home, this lovely, detached bungalow offers a spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a breakfast bar and an electric fire. This property is completely self-contained with an enclosed paved patio with garden furniture and barbecue in the summer, in addition to patios at the front of the holiday Let, with area of lawn and screening. It is perfectly located for exploring the Malvern Hills and surrounding area, with an abundance of walking and cycling opportunities. The Morgan Museum and Factory Tour is within easy reach and makes for a good day out. Amenities are available in the local village of Barnards Green just ½ mile away, with an array of shops, restaurants and pub. Malvern is approximately 1 mile away and offers further amenities such as Malvern Theatres, The Royal Three Counties Showground, Malvern colleges and Malvern Splash Leisure Complex with a swimming pool, gym and café. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile. This property can be booked together with UK45282, 2 doors away (the owner lives between the two).

Had a lovely week at Little Acorns.

Had a lovely week at Little Acorns. Well equipped, warm, cosy and relaxing place to stay. Good walks from the door as well as from Great Malvern and surrounding area. Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped for two. Just a short car journey away from accessing the hills and Great Malvern itself. Gets an extra tick from us for providing face-flannels with the towels - very properties do!

Wow, what a wonderful cottage.

Wow, what a wonderful cottage. Carole has thought of absolutely everything for the comfort and ease of visitors. Little Acorns was spotless, and the welcome pack was just brilliant.. The garden was enclosed with a barbecue for our own use. The location was so convenient whichever direction you travelled, with good pubs en route. We cannot recommend this little gem enough. It will not disappoint.

Not for self catering

This is a lovely little bungalow ideal for 2 people . However if you intend to self cater forget it. The kitchen is poorly equipped, whilst it has a microwave and cooker it does not have other items you need. There are no baking sheets, no cooking spatula, no serving spoons, no bread knife, no decent bread board, no microwave dishes, and only 3 mugs (with a dishwasher I would have expected more), though in actual fact the dishwasher did not work. A gas bbq is provided but no bbq tools or any way to clean the bbq after use. Baring in mind that we were also in the middle of a pandemic the general level of cleanliness was of concern. Health and safety was also an issue with the unlabelled kitchen sick taps installed the wrong was round so that the cold and hot taps on the wrong side which on first use lead to minor scalding. Following on from this we could not find a first aid box ! The bathroom taps were correct. Generally there was a lack of instructions around the house even to the extent of not providing instructions on how to dispose of rubbish and no information on recycling!. The lounge and bedroom both have french doors which look nice but leaves little option for ventilation. The owner considers the property to be 5 star but such awards are normally based on equipment levels that this property simply does not meet. An excellent broadband connection is provided but if you plan on bringing a firestick to watch Amazon Prime or Netflix forget it the flat screen TV is so old it does not have a USB port and the DVD player is connected by SCART. Based on our experience I simply cannot understand why anyone would rate this property higher than a 3 , it is a good base to use for the area but just that and nothing more. This is an honest and factual review of which the owner had been warned but has not responded to any of the points I have made.

Beautiful clean, very well equipped and comfortable holiday bungalow.

Beautiful clean, very well equipped and comfortable holiday bungalow. Pub serving meals very close , also shop. Carole made us very welcome. As the weather was so good we walked to (and from)the Malverns (just over 1 mile each way) and had a great walk along the ridge. Close to Worcester and the motorway. Thank you Carole

The Little Acorns was exactly what we needed, the enclosed garden was very helpful as we had our dog

The Little Acorns was exactly what we needed, the enclosed garden was very helpful as we had our dog with us. The owner, Carol was on hand if we needed any help and had left lots of supplies in the property which were very much appreciated. The property enabled us to walk and run from it and being so close to the Malvern Common was great, all in all we had a very enjoyable week in the Little Acorns and we would recommend it to friends and would love to revisit ourselves.

The cottage was lovely, very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped.

The cottage was lovely, very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. We went with our dog and the local pubs were very dog friendly and within walking distance. There are a lot of commons nearby and the area is a great place for walking. The owner Carole was very friendly and helpful and recommended some places to visit during our stay. Little Acorns is amongst one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in and having been dog owners for more than 30 years we have stayed in quite a few.

This was the most well stocked cottage we have ever stayed in.

This was the most well stocked cottage we have ever stayed in. The welcome package was very thoughtfully done. Carole the owner , was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The cottage was very secluded, the garden was lovely to sit in after a long day walking. We spent most of the week walking in the hills and didn’t need to use the car. Highly recommended.
