A beautiul, modernised 3 storey town house in the heart of the city; situated in a cathedral quarter of the town; containing 3 refurbished double or twin rooms. The monumental St.Eugene's cathedral over shadows the residense and neighboured by the fantastic Brooke Park. Local shops, pubs and restaurants are within a 5 min walk. This idealic setting is perfect for a family, couple or professional person visiting the city for leisure or business. 10 min walk to Magee University.

We absolutely LOVED our stay in Derry and Shaun's place was perfect. We were near everything we wanted to see and his recommendations made our trip feel like we were locals and not tourists. The condo was very clean, spacious, and a giant bathroom. It was all great.

The house is fantastic and the location is within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Shaun was a great host - he even provided us with several excellent recommendations in the area!

Ideal walkable spot with lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. The apartment was well equipped with a full kitchen and nice furnishings. The only downsides were the beds were not very comfortable and a couple of us had a hard time with the shower going from too hot to too cold very rapidly.

Great stay great location

Close to everything in the city host was great gave us recommendations on places to go and see very responsive. Clean house felt like home.

This is a great spot to stay in Derry! We found the house to be very clean and Shaun the host was very thoughtful in the communications and amenities available. We loved being able to walk to the main city sights right out the front door!

Great Stay

While we only stayed one night we enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk every where and were able to park out the front. The house had everything we needed.

Wish we’d stayed longer

Shaun’s place was comfortable and full of character. We appreciated the full kitchen and large bathroom. Shaun sent us a lot of recommendations for places to eat, and we found the area very walkable and charming. We regretted only booking one night here.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable. Great location. Shaun gave us great instructions and recommendations for places to go. He was very responsive when we had questions.

Overall a very nice place, and reasonbly priced. Our host, Shaun recommended area restaurants and amenities which all of our party of 5 enjoyed together and on their own. If ever back will book again.

The property was advertised as "a beautiful, modernised 3 storey townhouse" but the reality is that it is a renovated 100 year old property that is not beautiful, nor modernised. It is filled with furnishings & decoration from charity shops. It is overpriced unless there were at least 2 parties sharing.Parking was confirmed as being "in the owners space", but the reality is that it is street parking for anyone. If the owner had advised to arrive after 5pm when the construction workers had left, it would have made our check-in much easier. When we arrived at 4pm, the street was full & we had to lug cases & food etc across from the opposite corner in the rain.Not a recommended property to stay in for us. We did stay in 6 other properties in Ireland, all of which were far superior & which accurately reflected their description.

Unfortunately this guest was not a very good communicator only to leave a poor review a month later! Did not inform he was arriving by car! Expected valet parking but it’s a Townhouse in the middle of town very close to everything! How dare he insult someone else’s furniture as not to his taste! My home is well decorated in keeping with the character of the house! The price paid for the time of year and close proximity to town is very fair! I cannot control the weather.. .its Ireland! I recommended where to go and things to do and see but never once got a thank you! Well let me thank you for your very unfair review of my home! Good Luck!

Awesome stay!

We had an amazing time in Derry! The property was clean and well-maintained and communication with the owner was prompt and easy. The property's location makes it easy to walk to everywhere you would want to go. The city was amazing and I wish we had been able to stay longer. I recommend this property for anyone who wants to visit Derry. You won't be disappointed!

Family short one-nighter

Wonderful short trip with wonderful host Shaun who gave us great tips for getting around, food etc. the place was immaculate and very spacious for adults and teens. Safe to walk around and convenient for nice restaurants, walking tour, murals, museums nd memorials in Bogside. Wonderful time! Thank you Shaun!

Great choice for family and/or extended stay in Derry

We spent five nights here, a welcome respite after 18 days of road tripping. A pleasantly decorated, bright, cheerful space.The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals. The washer was a real bonus. Overall, comfortable, excellent location, quiet, private, and great parking.

Perfect location

We had the best stay in Windsor House. The location was superb- walking distance into town. Shaun the host was friendly and responded quickly to all requests. 3 bedrooms made it perfect for teenagers to unwind in their own space. We had a lovely breakfast in Gwyn’s cafe in Brooke Park (recommended by Shaun). We will definitely be back!

Nice old building near restaurants and grocery

Nice old building. There wasn’t a ton of parking, but we were able to find one right outside the door. Just a few minutes walk to restaurants and grocery. It was neat to hear the church bells ringing across the street.

New place

Only stayed there one night but we really enjoyed it and a bonus was there were places we wanted to go in walking distance. Would highly recommend! Shaun was great with communicating with us and was nice to chat with.

Back home in Derry

Enjoyed our stay, nice clean home, centrally located, 10 minute walk to city center. The house is next to Brooke Park, great play area for children, friendly neighbors. Super host, checked to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. We will be back next year.

Derry

Lovely home in a residential area. Very clean and nicely decorated. Easy access walking to center, restaurants, pubs and stores, taxis and buses. We were able to visit Belfast by train and as far south as Buncranon Donegal by bus. Very easy rail system. I would highly recommend this rental if staying in Derry.

Beautiful central location to the shops and river walks.

We were very happy with our stay. Everything was clean. Very close to the University. We met friends and family in the Brooks Park just behind the home. The park had a lovely tea house where family little ones played on the play equipment as the grandparents had tea... lovely. Highly recommend.. we will return.

Cozy, Charming Home in the Perfect Location!

We absolutely loved our stay at this quaint and beautifully decorated home! It was perfectly situated between Edinburgh and Glasgow, making it an ideal base for exploring both cities while enjoying the charm and quiet of a lovely little town.The house itself had everything we could possibly need — from a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful extras like books, games, and entertainment options that made our downtime relaxing and fun. Every room was tastefully decorated with a cozy, welcoming feel that made us feel right at home.The town was adorable with plenty of character, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere after busy days of sightseeing.This is truly a wonderful find — comfortable, convenient, and full of charm. We’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent

Location and facilities were great. It would have been nice to have had a small fan in each bedroom as it was hot in the evening. Also, many tourists like ourselves want to travel light and on extensive tours would like to be able to wash our clothes. Having a clothes washer attracted us to your apartment and we nievely assumed there would also be a dryer. Coming in in the evening and leaving in the morning doesn't leave enough time for clothes to dry on a rack.

Hi guys Thanks for your constructive comments We have been experiencing very hot weather for 2 weeks which is not normal.. So fans are a thing never used in Ireland to be honest…. Folk staying for 1 night only seldom wash their clothes let alone use a drier… But as the climate is ever changing we will invest in these appliance in the near future Thank you
