Excellent property and brilliant location

We stayed at Vepri for a quick getaway and loved it. The house is practical, bright and airy in a super location for exploring the best towns in Tuscany. A lovely surprise and Matina was really helpful. The house is really well laid out and has a great kitchen dining area and living room so we got to hang together regardless what we felt like doing. Enjoyed our croissants and coffee on the great lava table on the terrace. Also loved the bench in the garden! It's so wonderful to have some real outside space to enjoy.

Not as listed

We travel often and have rented many homes in Tuscany and across Italy for years. This one unfortunately was not as advertised. First because it clearly has not more than one proper bedroom for a couple and a tiny room for a small child. The other space is without windows or doors for that matter so totally unfit to sleep a couple. Other than that the management of the place seems just lazy. A cabinet door falling out, an unpractical water tab and so on. We had asked specifically if we could stay there with 2 couples for a period of time and were assured that would be ok. We found it impossible and had to leave with our friends. Unfortunately we are still disputing the prepayment.

Sadly I sometimes get guests who want to cancel early for personal reasons and then try to threaten with negative reviews in order to get their full money back. I am a very understanding and caring host and in this situation was very flexible, I provided more than the required refund based on the cancellation policy and also tried to accommodate all their needs. The statement by the guests below is inaccurate and the pictures on the listing fully reflect the house layout and rooms. There is one large master bedroom with an ensuite, then there is one single bedroom with a fully sized bed, a large desk, wardrobe, window and door (so a full single bedroom) and there is one large 'cantina' room that fits 3 beds comfortably. This room is reached by going down 5 steps, and although does not have a door is private. It has a side window. The house is perfectly suited for a family. Upstairs at terrace and garden level there a is a large open kitchen/living/dining room. As mentioned the listing 100% represents the property and its pictures. Sadly not all guests are honest in their feedback as they have ulterior agenda's for money based on negative reviews. What a pity.

Die Wohnung und der Gartenbereich sind sehr großzügig vom Platzangebot. Parkplätze sind am Eingang zum eingezäunten Gelände und etwas näher, oberhalb der Wohnung gelegen. Der Pool ist leicht über eine Treppe zu erreichen und sauber. Die drei Schlafzimmer, zwei dazu abschließbar und eines mit eigenem Bad sind sehr nützlich. Ein Bad hat eine Badewanne aber die haben wir, genauso wie den Kamin nicht genutzt. SAT-TV und Internet sind vorhanden. Die Anlage, das Möbilar und Teile der Einrichtung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber das macht nichts. Typisch Süden halt, mit eigenem Charme.Klimaanlagen laufen wunderbar aber das Haus ist in den Hang gebaut und die Räume dadurch selbst im Hochsommer recht kühl. Der Balkon und der Gartenbereich wurden auch gerne genutzt. Es gibt einen kleinen, einfachen Grill. Dieser reichte uns aber zu viert. Die Anlage besteht aus anscheinend dauerhaft bezogenen Häusern und Wohnungen und Ferienwohnung. Die Nachbarn und alle weiteren Gästen, auch Familien und mit Hunden waren sehr ruhig und rücksichtsvoll. Ab und an fliegen Flugzeuge vorbei. Ist aber bei weitem nicht mit Fluglärm deutscher Hrisstadte vergleichbar. Weinberge umgeben das Gelände und es gibt auch ein ziemlich ausgetrockneten Flussbett was ggf für den ein oder anderen Abenteuerer wie uns interessant war. Buccine ist schön klein. Der Coop bietet das Nötigste. Für größere Erledigungen gibt es etwas weiter einen riesigen, traumhaften Coop. Tiurustusch alles nah. Rom auch.

Ruhig und doch zentral

Das Haus ist perfekt gelegen, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Die Hotspots (Siena, Florenz, Arezzo, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Volterra...) sind mit dem Auto oder dem Zug sehr gut erreichbar. Aber auch für Natur- und Wanderbegeisterte oder Radfahrer ist das Tal von Ambra zu empfehlen. Das Haus ist Teil einer nicht zu großen, in sich abgeschlossenen Anlage in der Nähe von Ambra. Im Haus wurde kürzlich eine Klimaanlage installiert ;) 5 Personen haben in den 3 Schlafzimmern gut Platz. Die Ausstattung im Haus (Sofa und Küchenutensilien, Bäder) ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war zuverlässig und freundlich. Matina hat sich unverzüglich darum gekümmert, uns zum Beispiel einen neuen Toaster zukommen zu lassen, weil der alte defekt war.

Heerlijk verblijf in mooie woning

Een mooie, ruime woning waar we prima met 5 volwassenen konden verblijven, voorzien van alle gemakken (koelkast, vriezer, vaatwasser, oven, gasfornuis, wasmachine, kleine bbq op het terras). Het huis is onderdeel van een klein complex met meerdere woningen, goed onderhouden en omgeven door mooi onderhouden tuinen en groen. Het ligt een stukje van de doorgaande weg. Schitterende omgeving en heerlijk rustig. Genoeg bezienswaardigheden binnen redelijke rij-afstand; de informatie die we van de verhuurster ontvingen bevatte mooie suggesties en tips. Zelfs Rome is voor hen die zitvlees hebben met de auto te doen (2 uur rijden). De ontvangst was snel, goede uitleg gekregen. Omgeving van het zwembad was 'Covid-proof' gemaakt. In de maanden en weken voor ons verblijf regelmatig contact met de eigenaar over de situatie en ontwikkelingen. Buitengewoon prettige contacten. In het begin van ons verblijf wat problemen met de waterdruk in de douche als gevolg van het harde water in Toscane, maar na contact met eigenaar (via Whatsapp) en vertegenwoordiger ter plaatse snel en goed opgelost. Het huis heeft 3 terrassen, waar je afhankelijk van het moment van de dag heerlijk kunt zitten. Met de stoelen van terrasmeubels was het wel behelpen, omdat drie van de zes houten stoelen op het grote terras kapot waren. Hierdoor stoelen van ander terras gehaald maar comfortabel zitten is het niet. Een tip voor de verhuurder: horren in de deuren en ramen houden de meeste muggen/wespen buiten. Al met al een heerlijk vakantieadres voor een rustig en comfortabel verblijf in een schitterende omgeving.
