Secluded Pigeon Forge Cabin with a Lake view, unit 153 Allen’s Hideaway, is a charming one bedroom one bath chalet that is perfect for the couple looking to get away and escape to the Smoky Mountains. This cabin is in the Hidden Hills subdivision, which is just seven miles from downtown Pigeon Forge and nine miles from Dollywood, and sits overlooking the Hidden Hills Lake. This cabin offers everything a couple is looking for including a fully furnished kitchen, master bedroom with king size bed and in room Jacuzzi tub, and a private deck with hot tub overlooking the lake where you can sit and soak your worries away after a busy day in the Smoky Mountains. If you want to fish, the Hidden Hills Lake is a catch and release stocked lake that is for the guests of the community and does not require a license! The location is peaceful. It looks as advertised. The roads are narrow but we had no problems getting to the location. The problem was the bed. It was terrible. I mean it would have been more comfortable sleeping on the hard wood floors. This was a honeymoon get away and we ended up having to sleep on the couch bc it was so bad. We ended up leaving several hrs early to go home and get some sleep. Other than that the cabin was beautiful.

There were no tissues and not enough pillows. There was also some kind of device or detector in the bedroom that had a very bright blinking light that could not be turned off, which made sleeping difficult. Otherwise, the cabin was lovely, beautiful views of the valley, close to Smoky Mountain National Park, and a nice place for two people to stay for a few days. Please note that access road is steep, unpaved, and narrow.

There was no lake view. There was a path down the property and walk around the "lake" to look for a small view. The lake was tiny and not accessible.

Peaceful and Beautiful

I would suggest an all wheel drive or a 4 wheel drive one lane gravel road on a hillside but beautiful when you get there!

Anniversary trip

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary! The cabin was nice & clean. Only downfall was bed was a little firm. We really enjoyed the hot tub & seen a baby black bear!
