The house is set on a beautiful property, surrounded by nature with the ocean and several lakes nearby (walking distance). The house itself is absolutely charming and very well equipped. The host and his wife are available to answer questions and are eager to make suggestions for outings and things to do. Highly recommend if you are looking for a slightly remote, absolutely peaceful and restful holiday experience!

We had an unbelievable calm and peaceful week in the wonderful nature of the archipelago. It was hard to say goodbye! The house has everything we needed, breathes history and has a really good atmosphere. Sven and Lena were very pleasant hosts, thank you so much!

A jewel in the nature

We stayed one week in Sven's and Lena's beautiful house, a wooden jewel located in the wonderful nature of the archipelago near Stockholm. The house from the 18th century had everything we need and it was furnished with love and great appreciation for details, yet being functional. Thank you Sven and Lena for being such great hosts and the infos on the surroundings and on what to do. If you stay there, do not miss the wonderful lakes and a great museum, the Artipelag, which is definitely worth a visit.

Loveliest place to stay in Sweden

First of all we would like to thank Lena and Sven for being such wonderful and supportive hosts. We already were looking forward to our vacation in Sweden but you both made our stay exceptional! The historical lodge exceeded all our expectations and could accommodate all our needs for six adult person. Furthermore all the lovely decorated rooms create a very cozy atmosphere. Located in the middle of beautiful nature, it took only a 3 minutes walk to the ocean and around a 10 minutes walk to the surrounding lakes that invite you with crystal clear and 23° warm water. Following the Tipps of Lena and Sven we visited the Artipelag and went to Stockholm by ferry - both made our trips a more wonderful and special experience. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back again - not just for the location but for Lena and Sven! Thank you for this amazing time!

Mooi huis in een nog mooiere omgeving. Aan de rand van het bos , op 5 min lopen van een rotsstrand (pad niet geschikt voor kinderwagens). Sven en Lena zijn uitstekende gastheer/vrouw die er alles aan doen om het je naar je zin te maken. Het huis heeft een heerlijk terras, waar je heerlijk kan zitten.

Ein sehr uriges altes, aber sehr gut gepflegtes Holzhaus in wunderschöner Landschaft. Gut mit dem Auto von Stockholm aus zu erreichen und doch Natur pur mit eigener Badestelle an der Ostsee. Sehr nette Vermieter, die einem viele hilfreiche Tipps zur Umgebung geben. Volle Empfehlung.

Dear Jörg. It was a pleasure hosting you and your nice family. Even though the Swedish sun was not always shining you seemed to have enjoyed yourself - hiking, boating, swimming in the ocean and the nearby lakes, taking the ferry to Stockholm, visiting Sandhamn etc. That´s the right viking way to go: there is no bad weather, only bad clothes! Urlaub im Paradies

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit an diesem traumhaften Ort. Am ersten Tag hat Sven uns gute Tipps zur nahen Umgebung und zu den möglichen Unternehmungen in Stockholm gegeben und sich viel Zeit für uns genommen. Der Zugang zum Meer ist wunderschön und auch ein toller See ist fußläufig zu erreichen.Die Geschichte und die Besonderheit des Hauses runden das Urlaubserlebnis ab.Vielen Dank für alles!

Toller Urlaub in den Schäre

Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfreich bei Fragen.Wir könnten mit deren Boot fischen fahren. Das Haus ist ja schon sehr alt und hatte seinen eigenen Charme, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!!

Tolles Ferienhaus in wundervoller Umgebung

Wir haben als 4 köpfige Familie einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub in diesem alten, liebevoll restaurierten, etwas hellhörigen Ferienhaus verbracht. Ausstattung und Lage sind wie beschrieben. Vor allem der Außenbereich mit den verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten (Chillecke, Hängematte) und der Fitnessbereich haben uns und vor allem unseren Jungs sehr gefallen. Die Gastgeber Lena und Sven waren sehr nett und gaben uns Tipps (wo man am besten baden und einkaufen kann und wie man nach Stockholm kommt). Die Boote standen uns nach einer Einweisung auch zur Verfügung, um die nahegelegenen Buchten und Inseln zu erkunden. As a family of 4, we spent a very relaxing holiday in this old, lovely restored holiday home. Facilities and location are as described. Above all, we and especially our boys really liked the outdoor area with the various seating options (chill corner, hammock) and the fitness area. The hosts Lena and Sven were very nice and gave us tips (where to go swimming and shopping and how to get to Stockholm). After a briefing, the boats were also available for us to explore the nearby bays and islands.

Tolle Unterkunft und sehr nette Vermieter!

Das historische Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche bietet alles, was man zum Kochen benötigt. Der Weg zum Meer ist traumhaft schön. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man über schmale Waldwege und Felsen Felsplateaus von denen aus man auch geeignete Einstiegsstellen ins Meer findet. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und um das Wohl der Urlauber bemüht.

Wunderschöne Schäten-Ferien

Die Ferien in dem schönen, alten Blockhaus waren toll. Ein Spaziergang von 5 Minuten führt zu einem herrlich Felsenbadeplatz; ebenso weit ist es zu zwei schönen Badeseen. Das Vermieterpaar ist sehr nett und unkonventionell und hilft bei allen Fragen. Schwedenurlaub, wie man ihn sich wünscht.
