How about spending your vacation in a charming country house just minutes from the city and all major tourist attractions?

While the city center buzzes with daily life, the higher zones near the mountains offer a peaceful, rural atmosphere. In this small villa, made up of three lovely stone-walled houses surrounded by gardens, you can enjoy tranquility and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal. Each house is named after a tree native to the island.

This particular house features a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchenette. It accommodates up to two people.

NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Located in the calm and quiet Choupana area, you’ll find a restaurant just a 2-minute drive away, a bakery within 5 minutes, and a supermarket 10 minutes away near the city center. The city center itself is only a 15-minute drive. The area offers easy access to all parts of the island via municipal roads and the highway. Renting a car is recommended for exploring at your own pace.

GETTING AROUND
The best way to reach the property is by transfer, which we can arrange with our local partners—cheaper than airport taxis. If you rent a car, navigation apps will easily guide you to the address.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to all areas of the house.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We are always available to help or answer your questions via mobile or email and will do our best to meet your needs.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- All guests must present valid ID (passport or identity card) as required by Portuguese law.
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled at least 48 hours before arrival, check-in will depend on our team’s availability.
- Bed linen and towels are provided. We can also supply a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. Each property has a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket.

ATTENTION
A municipal tourist tax of €2.00 per person/night (ages 13 and up), up to 7 nights (€14 max per person/stay), will be charged. You’ll receive a payment link for this tax upon arrival.

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels for safety reasons only. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. If abnormal levels are detected, you may receive a message from our team.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration.

A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and a fee.
Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and a fee.

By making a booking, the guest accepts the house rules and terms of stay.
