Enjoyed our stay! We explored the coral coast, chilled out, and of course enjoyed some of the food cooked by Poonam. The road traffic noise was quite noticeable at night.

Awesome view of Maui Bay

Nice location with awesome view of Maui Bay. Responsive host and caring maid provide next to none hospitality. Property owner has extensive local tour information and the property is managed very well. Overall we had great experience and will definitely come back again!

Awsome view and accommodation

Our stay was wonderful. They property is beauttiful and the view amazing. Very clean, the kitchen very well stocked. Bathroom was grat so to bead rooms. Our host was absolutly amazing and very healful. This was my first trip with all my girls who have autism and they want to come back again. Thankyou so much.

Amazing views and beautiful home

We have just spent a wonderful 9 days at Totoka Kalou and highly recommend it. Words and photos cannot describe the amazing views from every room in the house. You have to see it to believe it. The house is bigger and better than it looks in the photos and very well equipped. It had everything we needed and more. Kerry was an excellent host who provided lots of helpful information prior to our stay and was very quick to respond whenever we had questions. Poonam was fantastic, helping with laundry, cleaning and delicious cooking. It was so lovely to come home to just 'heat and eat' Poonam's homemade curries and hand made roti bread. We really enjoyed snorkelling around the Maui Bay jetty and infront of Maui Palms. It was a bit too windy for kayaking and unfortunately the pool was closed for renovations during our stay. Luckily we had hired a car through Uniquely Fiji (would definitely recommend) so we were able to use other resorts pools including the Naviti, the Hideaway, and the Outrigger. It was nice to see different resorts but they were all overcrowded so we were glad we weren't staying. Without doubt our favourite resort was the Fiji Beach House (about 20 drive). We drove ourselves to Biasevu and loved the waterfall tour. The Maui bay supermarket was very handy and we enjoyed eating at the Tipsy Italian and Wok & Spice. We really enjoyed our time and felt we had experienced the real Fiji a lot more than we could have in a resort. We would love to return one day. Thanks.

A little slice of Heaven on earth.

We had the most wonderful holiday and it was all due to the location and home we chose to stay in ( Totoka Kalou). From the time we started to prepare for this holiday, Kerry and Mark were so helpful with suggestions and contacts and advice. When we got to the location we were blown away with how beautiful it was. We also loved having Poonam there to help us all the way. She came to the markets with us and cooked traditional foods. She helped us with knowing about the culture and places to go and see and things to do. We love her so much! We wanted to experience the real Fiji , not just resort life. This home was near villages, schools but also right next door to the coral coast! We snorkeled in the most amazing coral reef every single morning! Had a fresh coconut for breakfast, then mixed with the beautiful people of Fiji in the day and then at night, jumped off the jetty into the crystal clear water with all the school children. We felt that we could really get to know the local people and learn about the culture because of the connection Kerry and Mark have with the Fijian people. Our neighbours Ben and Emma we so beautiful and helpful as well. We had the best Lovi with them and recommend to any travelers to definitely talk to Ben about all of his knowledge of the local area. They are wonderful people and their children quickly became best friends with ours. Was very sad to leave.

Great restful place

Very peaceful. Stunning view. A place for those who want independence from resorts. Kerry and mark were very helpful and in easy contact. Housekeeper there every day too.

Fantastic Property and Location

We had the best time staying at Totoka Kalou. The house is ideal for a family and the area has plenty to do and beautiful beaches for snorkelling and swimming. Kerry is an excellent communicator helping us organise our stay, and Poonam is a wonderful host while we are there. Could not recommend more highly and can’t wait for our next visit.

Fantastic views

Clean, spacious. SUP and kayaks readily available but best with a car as steep hill to push them back home on if no transport. Fantastic views. Very private. Wonderful caregiver who is willing to cook if wanted. Can’t fault the place. We had a wonderful week there
