In the heart of the historic center of Guarene, near the Castle and with an enchanting view of Barbaresco and the Langhe, Luisa's Smile is the perfect solution for couples, families or friends. It is just a few minutes from Alba and the main attractions of the Langhe, a UNESCO heritage site and the perfect base for exploring the area
Inside a historic 16th century building with independent access, our guests will have access to a large living room with dining table and fireplace, a fully equipped separate kitchen (oven, fridge, stove, cooking utensils, dishes and crockery, dishwasher toaster, kettle ...), a further panoramic dining room ideal for breakfasts or romantic dinners, a bedroom with double sofa bed and bathroom (toilet and sink, no shower). The sleeping area, connected with a panoramic lift, has 2 communicating bedrooms (one double and one with 2 single beds), a bathroom with shower, a laundry room.
Unique in its kind, thanks to the superb and panoramic position it is ideal for those in search of tranquility, maximum relaxation and to fully enjoy our beautiful hills, without neglecting comfort (Wi-Fi, air conditioning, independent heating).
The house can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.
Externally the property has a beautiful fenced private garden and is totally available to guests.

Excellent stay. Elevator access to floors. Parking on streets only. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Charming and beautiful space with access to a well kept garden. Very interesting historic parts of accommodation. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our stay at this property was absolutely unforgettable! The hosts were incredibly warm and considerate, making us feel right at home. The property itself is a must-see, offering the true experience of living like a local in Guarene. Its proximity to Barolo made wine tastings effortless, and our morning walks to the cafĆ© at the top of the hill were simply magical. We canā€™t recommend this place enough!

Beautiful Property in Piedmont

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at this property. Dario and his wife took great care of us! We enjoyed the beautiful views and property. We will defiantly stay here again next time we visit the area! The owner and property get a 10 out of 10. Perfect!

Great property and fantastic views

A lovely apartment in an old house in the center of the village. Easy to get into Alba and to shops. Good walking around the village as well as paths close by through the vineyeards. Great space and fantastic views. Very comfortable and everything you need. Hosts also live on property - and while our Italian is very limited and they have little English - we communicated OK and they were very friendly and generous.

Amazing Villa and 5-Star Hospitality

Wonderful multilevel villa with an elevator/lift and beautiful gardens to luxuriate in. The owners are very welcoming, kind and generous. Placed lounge chairs out daily and brought binoculars to us so we could admire the fantastic view even more. Lots of little extras you don't typically get when you stay in a vacation rental in Europe including fluffy towels. The bedrooms are air-conditioned! 3-minute walk to an amazing restaurant (Osteria Imperfecto) and bakery. Highly recommend! Our meet and greet contact was Josh and he was very nice and helpful.

We walked in to a fire in the fireplaces, fresh cut flowers, champagne and chocolates. I have never experienced such hospitality.This home was beyond our expectations.

Wunderschƶnes Haus in traumhafter Lage

Wir haben die Lage des Hauses mitten im historischen Ortskern von Guarene sehr genossen. Die sorgfƤltige Renovierung unter Beibehaltung des Charakters des Hauses ist wundervoll. Die Einrichtung eine schƶne Mischung aus alt, stilecht und modern passt vƶllig dazu und ist sehr liebevoll mit Blick aufs Detail ausgewƤhlt worden. Das Vermieterpaar ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, vƶllig unkompliziert. Sie hatten uns sogar ein kleines Schlafzimmer zur VerfĆ¼gung gestellt, welches sonst nicht vermietet wird. Wir fĆ¼hlten uns in keinerlei Hinsicht beeintrƤchtigt, dass sie die Zwischenebene privat bewohnt haben. Wir kƶnnen die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der das Besondere sucht. Vielen Dank fĆ¼r die auƟerordentliche Gastfreundschaft.

A lovely house in Guarene

My wife and I spent a great 4 days in Piedmont based in this house in the hillside village of Guarene, well located just above Alba. The house is an interesting duplex with the other part lived in by the owners, lovely welcoming people whose warmth added to our visit without being in any way obtrusive. Our part of the duplex was on two floors connected by stairs on one side and elevator on the other. The rooms were comfortable and furnished with style, the views out over the valley and to the hills beyond were gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Magical property

Magical property! This property, filled with. Antiques and full of character is a true gem. The views are incredible and the small village it is located in is centrally located for exploring the area and is quiet and beautiful..The check in process and ongoing communication with the property owners and agent is very effective. The air conditioning in the master bedroom was very much welcomed as we visited during a unusually hot period.

Wunderbarer Standort in den Langhe

Das Haus ist ein Erlebnis, im UntergeschoƟ befindet sich eine mittelalterliche Quelle. Man bewohnt das erste und dritte Stockwerk (mit Aufzug verbunden), die RƤumlichkeiten sind sehr gerƤumig. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und liebevoll zusammengestellt. Die ebenfalls im Haus wohnenden, sehr sympathischen EigentĆ¼mer haben an alles gedacht, was ein Gast benƶtigt, um sich wohlzufĆ¼hlen. Man wird zu Anfang mit Sekt und Torte empfangen und jeden Morgen mit frischen Brioches versorgt. Parken kann man ein paar Meter weiter vor der Kirche.

A slice of heaven in Piemonte

This property is an absolute gem. The building is located in a stunning medieval village overlooking the city of Alba and the vineyards of Piedmont. The views from the building are incredible both looking out over the countryside, and across the rooftops and bell towers of the village. There is some wonderful outdoor space that you have access to, and itā€™s great to wonder the village streets as well. Perhaps the thing that I enjoyed the most was the incredible wood fired pizza oven built right in the dining room. Being able to fire that up and make some beautiful fresh pizza was something Iā€™ll remember for a long time. I would be remiss if I didnā€™t also mention the wonderful hospitality showed to us by the owners. They went out of their way to make us feel at home, and we truly felt like invited guests more than customers. Thanks so much for the fantastic experience, we canā€™t wait to come back!
