Located right in front of the beach, in the heart of the village of Leucate-Plage, just next to the central square and the hotel La Côte Rêvée, your apartment, located on the 1st floor of a house, directly overlooks the beach.

This house was originally the old open-air cinema of Leucate, from where the films were shown on a huge canvas opposite, on the beach.

The magnificent beach remains little frequented, even in high season. Looking at the sea, you will see on its right the fleeting point of the eastern Pyrenees, which is heading towards our neighbor Spain. A good part of the visible mountains are in fact already in Spain (you are 1h30 from Barcelona)

The living room is comfortable and opens onto the adjoining terrace, which is ideal for having breakfast in the morning - facing the sea (and at sunrise for the bravest) - or even to watch the children playing on the beach on evening, after a good Mediterranean family dinner.

The American kitchen is separated from the living room by a bar. It has an oven, hotplates, and a dishwasher. The fridge and microwave are off-center, living room side.

The bedroom is located on the courtyard side. It has a large window overlooking the village and the hinterland. Very pretty. It contains 1 double bed + 1 single bed, a large wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

The shower room is very functional with shower tray, sink, WC and washing machine.

Leucate-Plage is a resolutely family-oriented, sporty * and also idleness village.

* Leucate and La Franqui represent one of the stages of the Mondial du Vent, starting in March. In addition, numerous free sports workshops, organized by the town hall, come to life on your beach all summer (beach volleyball, rugby, beach tennis, biathlon). Bathers are absolutely not disturbed. The beach is huge. There are also free Tai Chi sessions in the morning and in the evening.

Finally, to rest, a hotel installs on the beach, a little further, on the left, small tables, and beach lounges.

Take advantage of the picturesque Leucate-Village market twice a week. You can get there on foot. The winegrowers around, in the Corbières, produce a very good rosé.

Superb walks to do also going to the top of the Cliff, on the heights of Leucate-Plage, with a breathtaking 360 degree view.

Many sea trips and water sports available between Leucate-Plage and Port-Leucate, including a lake ideal for initiation and the practice of windsurfing. We walk all over the body of water - immense -, with Corbières as background and eternal snow on the glaciers of the Pyrenees.

We also recommend a round trip to Spain, and in particular taste a paella in the very pretty seaside resort of "Roses", 125km, south of Leucate-Plage. Roses is located north of the Costa Del Sol and it reminds of the Côte d'Azur. From there we may want to push a little further (100km) to go and visit "Barcelona".
