Secluded Tropical Home, Stunning Views, Private Beach…

Overlooking a beautiful bay with scattered islands, surrounded by a tropical forest, this house gives you a chance to get away from it all and enjoy unspoiled nature, peace and quiet.

The main building consists of an eat-in kitchen, a bathroom and a casual living room which opens out onto a spacious outdoor roofed terrace. From the open dining area, enjoy awe-inspiring views of the mountains, and breathtaking sunsets over the ocean.

Two air-conditioned private bedroom/bathroom units are connected to the main house by a covered walkway. Each one features a king-sized bed and ocean-view balcony.

Down the forested hill is a pathway with steps to your own private sandy beach, where you are greeted by the soft waves of the Pacific, calmed by the surrounding islands. The ground slopes gently and the water is always warm, making it ideal for swimming.

You can order a boat to pick you up at the beach and take you to explore the surrounding islands and resorts. Or you can go snorkeling, fishing or dolphin/whale spotting. Then again, you can always choose to just chill in the hammock and forget about the world!
Two kayaks for 2 x 2 persons included in rental, you can explore the peninsula quiet waters and new pristine beaches...
Since last part of the road (7 kilometers) is a dirt road that can be muddy in rainy season we highly recomend a 4x4 for your comfort and safety.

relaxing and private, great getaway for small groups

We had a wonderful visit! The layout of the house (a Brazilian country style - all rooms on platforms covered by roofing) is unique, quite nice, and extremely well placed on this scenic hilltop. We enjoyed the hammocks and relaxing around the large table, making cocktails and cooking in the kitchen, and the stunning sunset views across the island-filled water! The walk down to the beach would be a little challenging for small kids and elderly, but it was wonderful to have our own private beach (at least while we were there, the one neighbor was not around). The road into the property certainly needs substantial improvement, and we were glad to have a car with more than normal ground clearance, but we understand there are plans afoot to address this. We highly recommend this house for small parties that want get away from it all for a few days. We'll certainly come back next time we're in Chiriqui.

Beautiful Property, Beach access a little tricky

This is a beautiful property and the view is absolutely stunning. My family of 4 adults and 2 children (age 5 and 7) stayed for 3 days. We really enjoyed the property. You can see the sunset from the main house, and in the mornings and evenings you can hear several troops of howler monkeys. The dining area is open air with a massive table, and breakfast at that table was my favorite part of our stay. I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars because I wish we would have known a couple of things. First, this property is listed as "rural," but in this part of Panama, "rural" means "remote." We needed a 4x4 to access the property, and it took 30-45 minutes to get to the house from the main road depending on the weather. This is not a bad thing, but definitely something to plan for in advance. Second, although there technically is beach access, it's not easy access. Access is unavailable during high tide, and is about a 15 minute hike from the house. The last stretch is down steep, mossy concrete steps with no handrail. The steps alone were a challenge for my kids, and when we got to the bottom we were unable to get to the beach because of the water. We didn't realize that during low tide we would have been able to access the beach, and due to the difficulty of the path for my kids, we opted instead for a 45 minute drive to the nearest resort to swim in the pool. We could see the beach from the path, and it did look beautiful. The owner explained at check-out that there are about 3 hours during the day when the tide is too high to get to the beach. Had we known that in advance, we probably would have attempted to go again. We chose this property specifically to spend a couple days at the beach, and my kids were very disappointed. I don't think access would be as much of an issue for families without small children, and had it been just my husband and I, we likely would have swam to the beach. Overall, I would recommend this property.

The perfect departure point for whale watching, snorkeling, Island Hoping, Scuba Diving, etc... Or simply chill on the beach with a fruit cocktail!
At 35 minutes driving discover the Indian Region of the mountains of where you can practice Hiking, horseback riding, fresh water rafting.
A litlle further, approx. 1h30 drive, discover the Volcano Baru and the village of Boquete, Coffee plantations tours, Zip Lining, etc...
