Peaceful Lake Retreat!!

Welcome to peace and privacy on the lake! What makes this great cabin unique for a relaxing getaway is the privacy! There is 200' of sandy lakeshore with 2 canoes and a four person paddle boat that are available for your use. There is a public launch on the lake and you are welcome to bring your boat and use the dock or check with us for the availability of renting a pontoon for the duration of your stay. Nightly rate does not include pontoon. Dock available May - September, weather permitting. In the winter months, we are located directly on the hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails. The entrance to the trails is right across our side yard and there is plenty of room to park your trailer. The private yard is large and level with a bonfire pit next to the lake. Inside, there is a great room with a gas fireplace and cozy seating, a nice size kitchen stocked with all the essentials. There are three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and the third with a queen bed and bunk beds for a comfortable night's rest. Also, the 3 season porch gets continual 5 star reviews for its views and comfort. Great restaurants and shopping are just minutes away in Crosslake. If you want more of a city feel, Brainerd is within a half hour drive with great towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa along the way! This comfortable cabin makes for a great family or friends getaway any time of the year! The property was beautiful and very well kept. We enjoyed the cabin which was spotless and very well appointed. It was a very hot week, yet we were comfortable with air conditioning and enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch with a pretty view of the water. Would highly recommend to others looking for a quiet and peaceful get away.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was very clean and well prepared for our stay. The kitchen had everything we need for cooking meals, and the grill was very nice. The screened in porch is perfect for early mornings and late nights. We enjoyed the canoes and paddle boat, and there was great fishing right off the dock for kids. Lynne was a wonderful, communicative, and helpful host. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We had such a wonderful autumn stay! The cabin was spotless and very cozy — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The large yard was ideal for our kids and dog to run around and play, and the lake was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. We’d happily stay here again!

Wonderful getaway!

We stayed with our family and absolutely loved everything about this cabin and property! The location is perfect, providing privacy and a large backyard for playing games and campfires. The fishing was great, and our kids loved swimming in the lake!

Great stay!

Check in was great and all the communication prior with Lynne was wonderful. The house and location were exactly what we wanted. Secluded but close to town. We had a group of kids and adults and it was perfect for our needs. Thanks for letting us rent your beautiful property!

The perfect cabin

We had a fabulous time relaxing, canoeing, adventuring. Such a nice kitchen, and the porch is amazing for when the bugs might be too bad for the patio. Our time couldn’t have been better.

Incredible Property, Absolutely Loved It!

We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties in northern MN but this was our favorite one! Location is perfect, remote and private yet close to towns, saw a lot of wildlife each day, beautiful lake, large yard, and the cabin itself is very clean and updated, just perfect! We plan on staying here again in the future, owners are great people too!

Cross Lake retreat

This is our fifth time staying at this property. It is great for our dog and the lake is nice and clear with a sandy bottom. Lake level was up so no beach this year but still a great stay and location.

Family Trip

We had a wonderful week! The weather was beautiful and the lake calm and refreshing. Check in was easy, as was communication with Lynne. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was great with nice appliances to use. Lots of catch and release fun off the dock. We hope to return again.

This was our second stay with Lynne at the lake house and we couldn't be happier! The place is well stocked with everything you need, very clean, and perfect for a family getaway. We spent our time at the lake swimming, paddle boating, and relaxing in the sun. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for our large family and communication with Lynne is a breeze. We're looking forward to coming back next year!

Perfect getaway cabin

This was a great stay for my family and I, including 4 adults and 3 kids. The property was perfect size, large back for the kids to run around, comfortable beds, and everything you need for a week's getaway. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and quick to respond. We would love to come back again next year!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

The peaceful, private setting and comfortable, cozy cabin makes for a truly unique getaway. There is 200' of weed free, private lakeshore. The lake is fairly shallow and the water quality is so clear you can see to the bottom in most areas. There are only 16 other houses on this lake with one end being a nature preserve and there is a public boat launch. Endless activities include fishing, boating waterskiing, swimming, hiking, four wheeling and biking. A 4-person paddleboat, canoe and dock are available for guest use. In the winter this is the perfect spot for that snowmobiling get away with access to hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails right in the side yard!
Crosslake is 5 minutes away and has several excellent restaurants to choose from along with fun shops to visit . Brainerd is less than a 30 minute drive and has a bigger city feel with smaller towns like Pequot Lakes and Nisswa to enjoy along the way. It makes for a fun shopping experience. Crosby is 15 minutes south and is known as "The Antique Capital of the Lakes Area" The 5 mile Cuyuna Lakes State Trail is open to biking and horse back riding enthusists and is within 25 minutes.

This property boasts 200' of beautiful, relaxing lakeshore without neighboring docks being right next to you. The large 1.5 acre lot gives the guests plenty of space to move about. In the winter months there is access right next to the property to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobiles trails. No more having to load and unload sleds. Great ice fishing lake and perfect area for cross country skiing, snow shoeing and skating.
