Casa Dell'Albero

Dear Guest, we are please to understand you enjoyed your stay, however, there were never written in any part of the advert on this web site or other web sites, including ours that there was or is a lift in the apartment. it is quite clearly stated, instead, that the apartment is on several floors and that it extents from the ground to the second floor. We appreciate that a lot of our guests come from different experiences and habits, however, the owner of this house is 94yrs old and manage to do the stairs every time she enjoy spending a couple of weeks in Venice; we also have happy families that include multi-generational members from 3yrs to over 80 that come frequently, almost every year, and like to spend their holidays in Casa dell'Albero and never complained about the stairs. There are 2 flight of stairs in the house and with about 12 steps each, with hand rails and clearly visible in the pictures. The bridges in Venice are quite frequent, actually, are one of the nice things about be in Venice...The bridges, like the streets are populated with people that come and go... the vaporetto is 200 meters away. Regarding the trash, the book of the house explain clearly that there is a collection every morning 6 times a week and there are 3 different collection: paper and cardboard, plastic and tins and finally humid, quite simple. No other information are present nor given to the guest. Sorry you did not understood and found it stressful. The apartment was not really touched by the record flood as it is quite high above sea level, we had only one night some water but by the next morning our maid cleaned up everything.
