Hankering to know what "the tiny house" movement is all about? Here’s your chance: this petite retreat has everything you need for a great vacation in “America’s last hometown.”
The location is ideal: Pacific Grove’s charming downtown is just a short stroll away: cafes, restaurants, bistros, galleries, boutiques, antique shops, and a cinema.
Lover’s Point and the Beach House Restaurant are only a few blocks in the other direction, as is the Coastal recreational trail (Cannery Row and the Monterey Aquarium are just over a mile away).
This cheery, compact cottage has one bedroom and a bath with a shower. There’s a small patio out back with a dining table, four chairs, a bench and a barbecue.

Anniversary getaway!

The tiny house was perfect for our anniversary getaway! The place had everything we needed and the location is perfect for walking down to Lovers Point and beach areas and up to Pacific Grove where there are plenty of great restaurants and shops to enjoy!

Very late review but our stay in December was perfect. Plenty of street parking outside of the parking space provided. Short walk from iconic Monterey views. Highly recommend for couples looking to get away from the Bay Area.

This historic property has been freshly renovated and is very comfortable and functional. The location is perfect, walking distance to the Bay and excellent restaurants.

A Tiny House in Pacific Grove served us well, though I had to laugh at the kitchen cabinets. They were hung higher than usual. My 5'4" self could barely get things on the second shelf never mind the top! Surely not a reason to avoid this cozy home. The scent of jasmine perfuming the air was wonderful on the back fence. The outdoor grill was clean and ready for our use and was appreciated. If I return to Pacific Grove, I would definitely consider booking here again.

A Tiny House

A Tiny House was a perfect fit for the two of us. Location is great for easy access to coastal boardwalks/trails and to downtown for dining and shopping. We appreciated the quite neighborhood. Driveway was small for our mid-size SUV so we only used it overnights. We noticed essential kitchen supplies missing (aluminum foil, parchment paper, plastic wrap and a variety of zip storage bags). We notified Monterey Rentals (Kyle) and supplies were delivered immediately. We also noticed the bathroom water supply has a slight sulfur odor when first used which dissipates after water lines run for a moment, but hey, the house was built in 1905 so we understand and do not find this an issue. We have stayed in numerous Monterey Rentals properties over the past 6 years and are always 5 stars pleased. We've already booked another week long stay at A Tiny House! We are at Gingerbread House with larger group in September and Blue Horizons in October! Can't wait.

Ideal spot

This is a great location, with a 10 minute walk to the ocean, downtown and the Monday farmers market.The house had everything we needed and was quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely little place in great location

The house is comfortable and the location excellent, right near lover's point, walk to town, the aquarium, the beach.Everything you need is provided. Despite it being near the most popular beach in the area, it is very quite on the street.

Great place to spend the holiday!

We loved the location and the quiet neighborhood. Close to everything and a nice little spot to spend the Christmas holiday. Very clean and well appointed in the kitchen. Everything we hoped for!

Wonderful location and cute house

We had a very comfortable 4 night stay here. Easy walk along the beach to visit the Aquarium. Super quick walk to some great restaurants in Pacific grove.

The house was clean and kitchen had what we needed. Very nice location. Close to town and the ocean. Very walkable. My only negative comment is that the living room does not have comfortable seating. The chair is an outdoor type of chair made from wicker and it is not comfortable to sit for watching tv. The arm rests are really hard. The couch is a very firm leather couch that is not really comfortable either. Would like it if the chair and the couch had recliners..

Lovely Stay

We really enjoyed this lovely “Tiny House.” Very clean, well appointed and cozy. The bed was super comfy! Close to the ocean a nice walk up the trail to the Old Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row.
