Screened in porch with working fireplace perfect for toasting marshmallows and relaxing on the porch swing. Dine alfresco every evening or enjoy the gas fireplace in the spacious living room. Master BR with private bath. 2 more BRs upstairs, both with queen beds and shared bath. Queen size inflatable mattress available if needed.

Good location and lovely back yard.

My husband and we’re here for work. We enjoyed our stay. Good location to our job. There was a issue with the stair banister, but Gary resolved the issue promptly. Would stay here again.

Beautiful home and the owners response time was immediate. I would recommend staying here if you happen to be in the Concord area. This place is ideal for families and your four legged family members. :-) my family loved staying here. GREAT PLACE!!!!!

Very nice

Everything was nicely put together and convenient. The car in the garage was a little weird and the lock being backwards are the door to the garage. Other than that every accommodation was thought of and would highly recommend this house for a group.

Thank you for your kind review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. The lock was on backwards in the garage as normally we keep the garage locked and guests use the front door, but due to your late arrival we wanted to make sure you could get in without an issue late at night. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Nice house and yard, but not guest friendly

The good news is that this home is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The fenced, well landscaped back yard clearly indicates the owners' care and attention. Decor is traditional and tasteful. And the beds are comfortable. But if you stay here, know that it's like crowding in with relatives. There was absolutely no place to put our "stuff" - not even space in the master closet to hang clothes. The refrigerator was completely full so I was forced to rearrange the owners' food to store my chilled items. In the master shower there were at least 10 bottles of hair products - we had to be really careful not to knock them off. I was stunned to see the owners had left their hard liquor on a table in the dining room (with an admonition not to "drink all their liquor") and costume jewelry in open containers in the master bedroom. This is the most trusting owner ever -- even wrapped Christmas presents were left under the tree. Good thing we are honest, but we felt like intruders instead of guests. I paid extra for my dogs to stay with us and it's always hard for new dogs to "invade" another dog's territory. But even the owners' dog beds were left out (did they think my dogs would actually sleep in another dog's bed? Not a chance - that's just not good doggie etiquette). And there were dog toys in the kitchen - my dogs didn't touch them (they are well trained) but why tempt visiting dogs with used toys? We couldn't get into the kitchen without taking down the doggie gate. Perhaps the owners are new to the vacation rental game and don't realize what guests need. My two VRBO homes are a clean slate for guests - the refrigerator is empty, the closets have lots of hangers (and no clothes), there is a working hairdryer in every bathroom (apparently the outlet was dead not the hairdryer) with no valuables sitting around (I learned my lesson - people DO steal things). Granted, it's normal to have more personal stuff around when you rent out your own home. But we have stayed at several VRBO homes that are normally occupied by the owner(s) - they all made an effort to provide "guest options" - not just clean towels, tea bags and an invitation to make S'mores, but cleared counters and fridge space. All in all, this experience felt too intimate - like we should have known our hosts personally. But we were strangers. Considerate, honest strangers who appreciate the owner's effort but needed a tiny bit of temporary space for our "stuff."

Beautiful home in great location!

I recently stayed here with some work colleagues and we really enjoyed the property! The location is great and the outdoor space is lovely. Would be perfect for race weekend or just about any other time you need a home away from home. :)

One of us grew up in a small great lakeside town in Michigan and the other is a Charlotte native. We both love the Charlotte area and have raised our children here. Charlotte is a big city with a small town heart, and Concord is a small town, now Charlotte suburb, with roots in the textile industry.

In the Concord area, there are many neighborhoods where the houses are right on top of each other. This neighborhood is not one of them. It is a slightly older area near the Concord hospital. Everyone in the neighborhood knows each other. It is a friendly place to live, which is hard to find these days!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Concord is a hip small town with close proximity to Charlotte. Check out Cabarrus Brewery, the Depot at Gibson Mill (largest antique mall in NC), Gianni's Trattoria for homemade Italian food and Cabarrus Creamery, both on Main Street for outstanding homemade ice cream (the Moon Pie and Lemon have been written up in Southern Living Magazine). Close to Charlotte Motor Speedway and UNCC too!
