Modern Self-Contained Studio in Shaftesbury

Dear Margaret and Peter, Thank you for your candid review, it was a pleasure to host you last week, but I am sorry to learn that our Studio did not suit your particular needs fully. The space in the living /bedroom area can became limited when the IKEA daybed is folded out into a SUPER KING sized bed to accommodate 2 guests. However I am considering the possibility of arrange the setting as a L-shaped TWIN room, to free up space when 2 guests come to stay. This could also solve the issue of 'Uncomfortable bed', as currently when the bed folds out, the IKEA Molshult mattresses; which are by design thinner than average ones and medium-firm, aiming to give 'all-over support and comfort with resilience' according to IKEA, does not suit your liking, but they are super comfortable when stuck up as a single bed mattress. I'm also sorry to hear that the 2 soft down bed toppers; 7 inches thick in total I have put down on top of the IKEA mattresses did not cater enough comfort for you as did for others. Although the comfort of a bed is a highly personal preference, I shall none the less explore the suitability of a Foam topper for our future guests. As for the entrance gate, it is a part of the larger garden gate, hence the smaller size. I apologise if it caused you problem. Despite the above, I hope your time in Shaftesbury had been pleasant. Mike and company are delightful guests, they are friendly, respectful and very pleasant to host. They also left the place very clean and tidy, which is much appreciated. I highly recommend them to other hosts.
