Excellent flat

We enjoyed the flat very much , access not for the faint hearted but it was adding to the charm and character of the place . Excellent position for the village life and restaurants bars etc Will be more than happy to return again The owner is responsive and quick in answering questions

Fantastic Views village centre

This is a fantastic refurbished apartment in the medieval centre of Dolceacqua - as previous reviews there are very many uneven steps both up to the apartment and also once you are inside so not really suitable for those with restricted mobility but the climb is definitely worth it - the views are simply amazing. Really well equipped and fitted 6 adults very easily. Right in the heart of the village surrounded by bars and restaurants but only 15 mins to the sea Ramona checked us in and was really responsive on WhatsApp during our stay We had a great few days and highly recommend

Between the mountains and the sea

An unusual and extremely well designed and styled apartment. Up several flights of stairs but worth the climb! It had everything we needed for a week spent exploring the ancient streets of Dolceaqua and alternating between mountain pools (12 mins up the Nervia valley) and the beach (20-30 mins down the valley). Plus it was spotlessly clean on arrival, with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Excellent aircon. The roof terrace was the perfect place to relax in the evening.

I wonderful apartment with all you need

The apartment is really nice and has a lot of space! Very nice, we didn't missed anything. All things were there and we were able directly to start with holiday time. The roof terrace is a highlight with a nice view on the castle. The apartment is well located but very calm in the area. So very nice to be directly in the centre of Dolceaqua but still quiet! Important to know there are some bigger stairs to reach the apartment. If you don't have leg problems, it's not a problem. Only if someone is not quite so good on foot, it may be important. Neil the host is super nice and very helpful! Thanks Neil, it was a very nice time in your apartment!!!

Access to property was not as presented in listing

When we got to the property, we found that the access to the property was not as presented in the listing. No where in the property description was there an indication of how unsafe are the stairs getting to the apartment. Neither in the pictures, nor in the written description is it clear just how unsafe the access is. We fully expected the cobblestone street access as well as the steps shown in the photos on the interior of the apartment, but the full access is NOT depicted in the photos or description. We experienced steps that were uneven and extraordinarily steep, as well as multiple depth changes making the stairs difficult and unsafe to go up and down. The steps to the apartment were dark, and lights were on automatic sensors, but rather than turning on, they turned off in some areas making it difficult and unsafe to go up and down. In addition there was no handrail available for parts of the stairs up to the apartment. These conditions are unsafe for anyone going up and down stairs. As a result, we did not stay at the apartment. As noted above, the property description was not representative of the true conditions to access the apartment. We have requested a refund, and as of this writing, none has been received.

Cette petite maison de ville est juste magnifique une très belle rénovation avec des matériaux de qualité et réaliser avec beaucoup de goût. Il ne manquait absolument rien que ce soit en termes d'électroménager ou de vaisselle ou de linge. La vue du rooftop est juste magnifique avec le château en face et l'endroit est très calme il y a des restaurants et de petits bars avec un petit marché le jeudi. Le seul tout petit bémol serait le nombre de marches pour arriver jusqu'à la pièce de vie il faut prévoir de petites valises et pas trop de sacs. L'hôte est vraiment très sympa et disponible. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr.

The directions for a late check in were lacking (given in reverse order of what to expect upon approach). GPS wasn't reliable!!! There wasn't a name on the square given as a point of reference & the apartment was not easy to find in the dark. Finally after locating the apt, we climbed many STEEP steps to the entrance door to the building and then many more steps before entering the actual apartment which also had many steps. Even for physically healthy guests with good mobility it was A LOT. The apt itself is nice, kitchen was well stocked for preparing a meal & the roof top with view was exceptional. We bought a whole fish at the mkt to grill but were disappointed to find that the very nice/clean grill on the roof top terrace had no gas. This apt is not suited for children, older adults or anyone with even the slightest mobility issues. However, it is probably well suited for hikers & athletic vacationers. Loved Dolceacqua & Apricale!

Super Ferienwohnung über 2,5 Etagen für fitte Menschen.In einem alten Haus sind die oberen 2 Etagen zu einer modernen Wohnung umgebaut worden. Sehr schöne und gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit einer großen Dachterasse mit super Ausblick. In der unteren Etage befinden sich die Schlafzimmer und drei Bäder. Zwei Schfafzimmer sind mit eigenem Badezimmer und Klimaanlage ausgestattet, die anderen beiden ohne Klima teilen sich ein Bad, ein Schlafzimmer hat allerdings kein Fenster (wie beschrieben). In der Oberen Etage ist die große Küche und ein Essbereich, auf der Empore der Chillbereich und der zweite Fernseher. Von hier hat man Zugang zur Dachterasse. Die Wohnung wurden von der freundlichen Verwalterin übergeben. Alles war sauber und wie auf den Bilder. Der Zugang zum Haus führt durch eine Gasse. Der untere Bereich vom Haus ist noch nicht saniert worden und hat nicht den Standard der Wohnung. Der Weg zur Wohnung führt über viele Treppen, außen wie innen. Die Treppen sind halt alt und nicht genormt,d.h. Treppenstufen zwischen 10cm und 30cm mit unterschiedlicher Tiefe sind zu überwinden. War kein Problem, nach ein paar Tagen kannte man die Treppensequenz, jedoch für Leute mit Knie oder Hüftproblemen, die schon Probleme mit genormten Treppen haben, wird es schwierig.Gepäck und Einkäufe sollte man gut tragbar packen, da der Weg zum Haus und in die Wohnung schon ein paar Meter sind. War ein super Urlaub. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung, wir würden die Wohnung wieder nehmen.

Heerlijke locatie, maar veel trappen!

Ik geef mijn verblijf altijd een uiterst eerlijke review zodat de eigenaar er echte feedback uit kan halen, maar dat mogelijke huurders ook weten waar ze voor staan. Laat me beginnen door te zeggen dat we een aangenaam verblijf hadden in Dolceacqua! Het contact met de host was heel goed, wat wel een vorm van rust en vertrouwen geeft. Het was er bij aankomst ook zeer netjes en er stond wat drank voor ons klaar. De dame die ons verwelkomde sprak wel amper Engels. Gelukkig begrijp ik voldoende Italiaans om alles te begrijpen. Er zijn echter wel een paar opmerkingen over ons verblijf:- de advertentie is wat misleidend met ‘4 baths’. Het zijn douches. Wij waren tevreden met douches. - er zijn heel veel trappen. Die zie je niet op de foto’s, wat opnieuw misleidend is. - de trap is ook extreem gevaarlijk voor kinderen. Hadden wij de balustrade op foto gezien, hadden we met onze kruipende tweeling niet geboekt. We losten het op door er koffers voor te zetten. Dit is enkel een probleem als je jonge kinderen hebt. - we misten schaduw op het terras (dat wel een prachtig uitzicht heeft)- de stoelen zitten zeer slecht- de loungeset op het terras had geen passende kussensMaar al bij al vonden we het een mooi gerenoveerd appartement, mooi gebruik van alle ruimtes, wat gezien het een historische woning is, al niet makkelijk is en het uitzicht is echt de moeite waard!

Dolceacqua un séjour agréable

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Dolceacqua. L'appartement est très bien placé proche de la vielle ville, il est très agréable, propre et spacieux. La terrasse avec vue sur le château et le pont est très agréable Le seul inconvénient est l'escalier pour accéder à l'appartement avec des marches très hautes un peu difficiles à monter lorsqu'on est chargé est il faut être prudent à la décente

A recommander nous étions 8 adultes et il y avait 4 salles de bain l’accès à l’étage un peu dur mais typique et anecdotique car marches très hautes et au dernier étage .super emplacement super petit village et en plus un garage le point négatif c’est la connexion WIFI qui n,a pas fonctionné du tout ni avec le portable des uns ni des autres et j’ai envoyé un sms au propriétaire qui m’a redonné d’autres codes mais toujours rien et qui n’a pas répondu à mon deux message

Geweldig huis

We hebben een super tijd gehad in Dolceaqua, wat een leuk dorp met vele leuke restaurantjes. Het huisje had een prachtig uitzicht op het oude dorp. Je moet wel voldoende conditie om boven te komen. Het huis is echt een aanrader.

Schöne Wohnung mit super Aussicht!

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit. Super nette Hausverwalterin und Besitzerin, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei Problemen. Die Wohnung ist modern und schön eingerichtet. Es gibt viele Treppen, was etwas schwierig war für unsere 77 jährige Mutter, sie hatte Angst zu fallen… die Wohnung ist etwas für fitte Leute, für Kinder und Hunde etwas schwierig. Die Lage und Ausblick sind toll!

Großzügige Wohnung mit Aussicht

Wir hatten mit 4 Erwachsenen, einem Teenager und einem Kind ausreichend Platz in der großzügigen Wohnung mit 4 Schlafzimmern (davon allerdings eines ohne Fenster) und 4 modernen Duschbädern. Die Ausstattung ist überdurchschnittlich und die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Es sind sowohl außerhalb als auch innerhalb der Wohnung sehr viele Treppenstufen zu bewältigen, deshalb ist sie nichts für Menschen mit Gangunsicherheit oder für Kleinkinder und auch eine gewisse Fitness ist erforderlich. Dies macht sich insbesondere bei der An- und Abreise bemerkbar mit Gepäck, zumal man nicht vor der Wohnung in der Fußgängerzone parken kann und der inkludierte Parkplatz in einer größeren Garage etwa 250 Meter entfernt ist. Die Kommunikation vorab mit den Vermietern war unkompliziert, die freundliche Verwalterin vor Ort spricht allerdings keine Fremdsprache. Besonders schön ist die Dachterrasse mit wunderschöner Aussicht und die Lage mit zahlreichen Restaurants in fußläufiger Entfernung. Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ist man aber selbstverständlich auf das Auto angewiesen.

superbe village avec un appartement magnifique doté d’une belle vue. logement très propre et à la décoration minimaliste très chouette. il faut être entrainé à monter de nombreux escaliers !

A ne pas manquer!

Dans un très joli village, Dolceacqua, dans la vallée de la Nervia, au nord de Vintimille, nous avons loué un bel appartement. Mais attention....cet appartement est réservé à des personnes en bonne forme physique. Il y a 52 marches à "escalader" avant d'arriver à l'appartement. Prévoyez des petites valises ! cet appartement a 3 chambres avec douches et toilettes, la 4ième est une chambre sans fenêtre et la salle de bains est à l'étage. Bel appartement très fonctionnel avec 2 petits salons en mezzanine. n'oubliez pas le marché du vendredi matin à Vintimille et le joli petit village perché à Pigna
