Butlerstown has been in the ownership of the same family for many generations, and it has been the wish of the current owners for many years that its beauty and tranquility should be made more available to the public. Set in 100 acre farm and woodland, in the sunniest corner of Ireland, we are just 10 mins drive from the closest good beach. The castle cottages have their own private Herb Garden and Lavender Haggard, and there is a small soccer pitch for children to play on. Good local restaurants, pubs (such as the Lobster Pot pub/restaurant), riding stables, golf courses, museums and bird heritage sites (such as the Saltee Islands, North Slob and Tacumshin Lake) are all within easy striking distance.
