This little beauty of a home has been fully refurbished - located 2 miles from Belfast City Centre. We provide welcoming snacks and breakfast options, 24/7 contact and lots of information on recommended tours and experiences. We are just a 5 minute walk from The Cavehill Country Park which includes the remarkable grounds of The Belfast Castle. We are located just 20 minutes from Belfast City & International Airport - we also provide a taxi pickup service if desired.

There is a bus stop just around the corner, buses arrive every 10 minutes! There are also local corner shops, takeaways and an off license all within a 1 minute drive - including a mini Co-op Supermarket!

The perfect stay for a getaway in our little country Belfast!

Peaceful Stay in Belfast

This house was so beautiful & charming! It had everything we needed and the bus stop was right around the corner, making it easy to get around Belfast. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful—it was perfect for a relaxing stay.

Fairly easy to get to. Parking is on the street. We were usually able to park close to the house. Property description indicated washer and dryer, but there was no dryer. An information booklet with info on local eateries, bars, etc., would be helpful. Beds were a bit thin but adequate.

Belfast Beauty

What a great, clean place to stay! A short walk to the bus to get into Belfast! The kitchen was well stocked, the place was very clean! Shannon was wonderful to deal with! I would come and stay again! Belfast is an amazing city!

Good stay

Clean and well equipped for what you need. Nice quiet road and close to all I wanted to see and go . Could do with a new double bed frame as was very squeaky when moving in your sleep!!!!

No dryer Rusty pots and pans No hair dryer Oven so dirty you could not use it smoked so bad. Poor heat had to wear winter coats first evening. Second evening the heat quit. Host had to come and reset the boiler. Host did not respond to request for confirmation the day before reservation. Day of reservation we drive to Belfast not knowing if we had accommodations. Then we were chastised for not calling 15 minutes before arrival. Even though we tried constantly for two days to contact her. NOT a positive experience we choose this type of accommodation for the purpose of cooking our own meals. Expected to have reasonable quality of cookware.

We enjoyed our stay in Belfast. It would have been nice to be a little closer to city centre as we took Ubers quite a lot. All in all a very good place to stay.

Misleading

I was personally so excited for this trip to Belfast because this home looked so chic and spacious enough for me and my friends. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience because of plumbing issues. We traveled from Washington DC to Dublin then drove up to this place in Belfast, we dropped our stuff and ran downtown to eat. Once we got back, it had been almost a 12 hour travel day. We all wanted to go shower off and go to sleep around 10:30 PM, so I went first. While I was showering the fire alarms started going off, and I thought it was the steam from the shower, so I jumped out of the shower and threw open the window. About a minute later, my friend was banging on the door saying turn off the shower because it is pouring out of the fire alarm downstairs. After putting my head under the sink faucet to get the remainder of the soap out of my hair, I ran downstairs and saw horrible water stains where the shower was, around all of the Can lights, the fire alarm, and around the ceiling. I tried to get in contact with the owner, but it was super late at night, so I can understand why she probably didn’t see my 5 calls. So I was on the phone with VRBO for two hours, and sent them photos of everything in this home including things not related to the water damage. The owner offered to book us in another one of their properties but I booked a hotel instead. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was my first instant hotel booking, and it will most likely be my last. My friends were unable to shower, we all had to take sink baths, so we had to have the grime of travel follow us all the way to Giant’s Causeway that day. There was some other damage that I think should’ve been easy for even a small-time handy man to upkeep but it was not done. We also were unable to get an Uber/ride share in this area. I also debated writing this review(because I know things happen), but I do not want someone else to have to jump out of a shower butt naked and try to open a window to find out it’s water pouring through a fire alarm and not caused by steam! The owner did refund for the second night when I asked her too.

Great spot to explore belfast

Our stay was short but this was a great spot for us to explore the city from. Just ten minutes from the center and plenty of stores and shops nearby. I highly recommend the fish and chip shop at the end of the block.

Nice property but pictures are misleading

Aaron greeted us. Shannon was attentive to our need for a hairdryer which we couldn’t locate. The pictures suggest a basket of goodies in the kitchen. Rice Kristie and Frosted Flakes were the options. Not much. Pictures showed a bottle of wine but there wasn’t any. Also showed face wipes in the bedrooms but there were none. Shannon should just take out those pics so she doesn’t create an expectation. Otherwise it was nice. 7 pounds to Uber to city center. Not bad either. Thanks Shannon

Business Stay

I have just stayed for 4 nights in Belfast and throughly enjoyed my stay. Everything was exactly as Shannon had described it.The property was spotlessly clean and Shannon stays close buy if there are any issues.I would definitely stay there again on my next trip

Belfast Gem

The new remodeled location was nice. Our contact Shannon was nice and prompt with responses. Since we were out of the US, we didn't have texting, but the contact through HomeAway via the internet was convenient. There were supplies and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great find!

As soon as you step through the door the house feels fresh, modern and clean. Beautiful home with all modern facilities for a comfortable stay in Belfast. The owner has thought of everything, plenty of towels, extra duvets, toilet rolls, toiletries, cleaning products etc. Even provided tea/coffee/sugar/jams and breakfast cereals . A nice touch was some fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. Constant hot water for shower and very easy to use central heating system for warmth in rooms. Anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Belfast look no further as this house is a little gem !! It ticks all the boxes and is superb value. Regular bus service into the city centre from down the road. Ask the driver for a day ticket and you can travel on buses throughout the city. Shannon, the owner was the perfect host and easily contactable during our stay. Thank you Shannon for.making our stay such a comfortable one!

Shannon's flat was immaculate, was very close to Belfast and had all of the conveniences that we needed. We couldn't figure out how to use the television and they came to the apartment helped us ou and t at 10:00 PM on a Sunday night! We would highly reccomend this rental to anyone visiting Belfast!
