Home away home at The Blue Sky Lodge.

Blue Sky Lodge is a cozy and relaxing lodge

where you can unwind after a full day of adventures. The deck offers stunning views of sunrises and sunsets over the beautiful Rocky Mountains. On cold nights, the fireplace is great for warming up with a glass of wine.

The lodge has a bedroom suite with a king size bed and wheelchair- friendly, private bathroom. There is an additional bedroom with a queen size bed and bathroom in the hallway. The living / dining room has a fireplace and beautiful arched windows overlooking nature. The loft has 2 standard size beds with divider for privacy if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for a home-cooked meal.

The outside is just as enjoyable as the inside, with many mature trees on the property and nearby. There is a gas or charcoal grill which is ideal for making the most of the warmer summer nights. There is also a walking/jogging track across from the lodge.
The lodge is located within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, shops and many other attractions. Pagosa Springs is great in any season with many activities. There are craft breweries, fly fishing outfitters, white water rafting, golfing, mountain biking, hiking trails, horseback riding, skiing and many more. The hot springs for which the town was named have the world’s deepest geothermal springs with healing water. Visitors from around the world come to enjoy its hot bathes; some come to cure ailment and others simply come to relax and be rejuvenated.

Great Stay

Enjoyed the Blue Sky Lodge on my friends trip. The house was roomy and we made good use of the outdoor space both front and back. The location was convenient and Rose was excellent to work with. We especially enjoyed meeting her and the treats.

House was just as described and worked perfectly for my son and me. Quiet, convenient locations. Home was stocked all the basics we needed. Ruth was a super host. I would highly recommend this home.

Great home away from home!

The Blue Sky Lodge was a perfect spot for our first time to Pagosa Springs. Rose made sure we were welcomed and the extra treats were a wonderful surprise after our long road trip! The house is full of all the necessities, very comfortable and close to shops, restaurants and walking trails to the lake. We will definitely be back if we are traveling to Pagosa Springs in the furture!

Great Host

Rose is wonderful and very welcoming and responsive. Great location. House has some older appliances but everything in g works fine. WIFI is slow but our friends who all live in Pagosa say it’s city wide. Great stay, great host. Would stay again.

Wonderful stay in Pagosa

We had a fabulous stay in Pagosa. The house was just as described, everything worked and the beds were comfortable. Rose was an excellent host and we enjoyed the treats she left. Although the house is on a busy street, the location was great. Very close to grocery shopping, restaurants, and activities. We enjoyed the deer visiting the yard as well. Thanks Rose!

Relaxing and Enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay in this exceptionally clean home. Quiet neighborhood with deer roaming about and hot air balloons flying overhead in the early mornings. Rose was a very attentive host and helped us out of a jam when our car battery died on us one morning. Loved our time relaxing on the porch and swinging in the hammock. Thanks for everything Rose.

Nice house close to amenities.

Nice, comfortable house. Good heating/AC. TV/Internet good. Comfortable beds and family room. Close to City market and Pagosa Brewery. Located on busy street but noise not too bad. Outdoor Seating in front of house on street. Deer family comes in the yard. Suggest that kitchen be organized a little better and an upgrade of cooking pans.

A Welcoming Experience

This property is beautiful from both the outside and inside. Outside the property is easy to see and has some authentic easy to recognize windows. The inside was comforting with a full family table setup ready to use, to a working and running fireplace, and clean rooms. There was also a small gift for us waiting and that was a very nice touch. Also, there was a place to park inside the garage for one of our cars. The location was about 0.75 miles from where the city market is and it makes getting into the newer part of town easy. The main part of town is a few miles away, but easily driveable. There were no issues during out stay. Rose was attentive and very communicative with us. She ensured the driveway had the snow removed and that it was easy to get in and out of. The kitchen was full of amenities and had more than enough equipment to cook our meals. The bathrooms had plenty of towels for our needs as well. The washer and dryer met our needs for getting our ski clothes ready for the next day. This place was exceptional and would recommend staying here. We will definitely look to stay here again for future Pagosa stays.

Wonderful home in Pagosa Springs!

Our first trip to Pagosa Springs was made more enjoyable by being able to come home each night to this lovely, well equipped home. Rose is a very gracious hostess who greeted us at the house with a beautiful, welcoming fruit, cheese and cracker tray that lasted us thru our week long stay. She offered many helpful hints about dining and activity options that are very close by. The house is air conditioned, which was a blessing considering the high temperatures occurring the week we were there. There is a wrap around deck across the front of the house where you can enjoy a view of the mountains, hot air balloons each morning, and deer roaming in the yard! Across the street is a paved walking trail that leads to a lake, The house also has a garage for you to park your car and is handicapped accessible There was a TV in each of the 2 bedrooms plus sleeping loft and the large family room. The DISH network worked perfectly! The beds were comfortable and the master bathroom shower (which had been updated) was amazing)! Many restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance from the house, yet you feel somewhat sheltered because of the many trees around the large lot the house is on. We would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Pagosa Springs!

Perfect place in Pagosa

Staying here felt more like staying at home than any other renal we’ve been to, it was comfortable and had everything we needed! As an added bonus the owner Rose is the absolute best! She was very nice and helpful in making recommendations for some great local spots. The location is perfect and the house is wonderful and allowed us to enjoy a very relaxing vacation. The home and surrounding scenery is so pretty! There are beautiful places to walk in the surrounding area and some amazing nature trails to hike close by. We love traveling and cannot wait to come back and stay here again soon!

Best vacation rental!

This is by far one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at! The home is beautiful and conveniently located to everything and anything you will need. The host Rose is incredibly kind and very helpful!! She was so nice and answered all our questions and gave us some great tips to wonderful local places. The house contained everything we needed and so much more, it helped make our stay perfect! Everything about this house was amazing! If you enjoy skiing Wolf Creek is close by and so much fun. After our daytime adventures we loved relaxing next to the cozy fireplace and looking outside at all the pretty snow. We look forward to visiting again and definitely plan to stay at the Blue Sky Lodge again!!

Great clean and cozy home

The property owner was incredibly gracious and welcoming. Rose went as far to ask for our kids favorite treats and included them with a wonderful welcome basket. The home is well cared for, clean and spacious. We highly recommend and would stay there again. The home is walking distance to a lake, and a short drive to the grocery store and several good local restaurants. One slight downside is the local traffic on road the home is located is pretty busy. But all and all a wonderful experience.

Property was ok, dated, light carpet. Not as comfortable as pictures made it look. Too many plastic flowers inside & out, rather cluttered. Cheap, dusty blinds & moths. Owner has a camera in driveway, felt like we were being watched (Don’t know if there were others). We Weren’t there much, we came to visit family. When owner saw another vehicle in the driveway, (our family, Visiting us) she started texting & emailing (didn’t call) demanding what was going on. We were out of service, sightseeing that day & didn’t get her inquiries. She “canceled” our reservation & wanted us out that night, by 10pm. When I saw her 6 messages the next morning, I got right back to her explaining the situation. (They were there for a few hours, not overnight as per the rules) she would not answer, and refused to speak to me when she showed up as we we’re leaving. Waived me off, so the cleaning lady could come (20 mins early!) Extremely unprofessional & rude. Would not recommend renting from her. There are many other beautiful homes in the area. Very disappointed.

Blue Sky Lodge

The house is in a great location! There's a paved walking trail right across the street. In one direction, you arrive at a beautiful lake. In the other direction are stores & restaurants. We were going to walk a couple of miles a day anyway, so we walked to eat breakfast & dinner. The Pagosa Drive goes up to mts and Williiams Lake & is connected to so many other sights, we felt like we were in a central location easy to access all we wanted to see. The house is as colorful and welcoming as our host, Rose! It had everything we needed & is a great floor plan for what we used. The front deck was a great place for morning coffee, with colorful balloons over head! When we came in at the end of the day, we were greeted with beautiful mule deer who posed for our pictures! The house was spotless! Rose left us a wonderful basket of wine and cheese & chocolate biscotti - as if she'd read our minds! It was much needed after a day of travel & energized us for our first adventure! She thought of everything! If you choose the house with the blue roof, you will enjoy your visit to beautiful Pagosa Springs!

Truly a wonderful home away from home!

This is a great place to stay. It is true to the pictures and the kitchen has all that is needed if you chose to stay in. It's in a good location that's a few minutes from close to everything you need. Rose, the owner, is friendly and helpful. My husband looked forward to seeing the deer every morning. He didn't see them the first morning but after that he saw them every morning and the number grew each day. Our last day there were 3 young bucks and their family next to the house. We highly recommend The Blue Sky Lodge!

Comfortable and close to everything

Our time at Blue Sky Lodge was very comfortable and cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. Our host Rose was so helpful and available for any questions we had. We enjoyed it very much and look forward to coming back.

Blue Sky Lodge is Pagosa Springs Perfect!

What a wonderful home in a gorgeous place! Our gracious host Rose greeted us upon arrival and made us feel welcome and at home. This clean, well-appointed, home-away-from-home was stocked with more than we needed to be comfortable for our week of hiking and exploring. It was warmer than usual in Pagosa Springs while we were there and we were very happy to have air conditioning. The location is ideal with restaurants and shopping just minutes away, a walking trail across the street and close to access roads for epic hikes of the San Juan mountains in every direction. It is the perfect combination of in-town but still close to nature One evening after a beautiful hike we arrived to find five Mule Deer bucks in the driveway! We highly recommend Blue Sky Lodge for anyone In search of the perfect Pagosa Springs rental. We will definitely be back!

Great Place for a family getaway!

The house was exactly as described. The porch was the best place just to sit, relax and take in the view. The kitchen had everything that you needed. It was just being at your own house but in the mountains. Rose was the best, we ran in to car trouble and she came to our rescue. Thanks for everything.
