This detached cottage rests in Castlerock and can sleep thirteen people in six bedrooms.

SeaShells is a detached property resting within the village of Castlerock. It comes with six bedrooms, comprising of a ground-floor king-size with en-suite shower, basin and WC, three ground-floor doubles, a family bedroom with double bed and single bed and a king-size en-suite, together sleeping up to thirteen people. Completing the interior is a bathroom with a bath, separate walk-in shower, basin and WC, a kitchen/diner with double-sided woodburning stove, a sitting room with a double-sided woodburning stove and a sitting room with a gas fire. Outside, there is off-road parking and a rear garden with lawn area and patio area with furniture. SeaShells is a superb base for exploring this part of Northern Ireland with your loved ones.

Amenities: Oil fired underfloor heating with double-sided woodburning stove and gas fire. Gas hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview and WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available. Ample Off-road parking. Rear garden with lawn area and patio area with furniture and a barbecue. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking allowed. Pub and shop within 0.6 miles. Beach 0.7 miles. Note: As of 03/09/2020 this property no longer accepts pets, bookings made before then will be honoured. Pets will no longer be accepted in this property from 28/05/2021. No stag / hen parties at this property please.

The village's claim to fame is the Mussenden Temple that features in Game of Thrones and inspiration for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The village houses attractions for all ages and tastes, including the Hill Farm Riding Centre, Finvoy Fun Farm, Castlerock Golf Course and a sandy beach.

Beautiful property

Beautiful property with plenty of room for our family trip. Excellent location near the beach and the train station for Londonderry and Belfast.

Perfect spot!

We loved staying in this house! It was roomy and comfortable. We were able to get a good sense of the area for the time we were there. Would highly recommend this house!

Castlerock break

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The check-in was great and the home was large enough to accommodate all of us (2 couples and a teenager) along with relatives who came to visit us! Would certainly stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

Beautiful stay in Castlerock.

I arranged a 2 night stay in Castlerock before returning home from Australia. The booking was made easy online. The plan was for my family to meet my partners family from Sweden while seeing the Beautiful North Coast of Ireland. The pictures of the house in the post do not do this house justice at all. 6 bedrooms, plenty of space, bathrooms, showers, baths. All the towels or utensils required for your stay readily available. 2 ensuites in 2 bedrooms, alongside 1 large bathroom with bath & shower, and a separate toilet downstairs - perfect! Neville kindly set up the dining tables to hold additional people, and the cot & high chair allowed my sister to pack "a little lighter " however not much lighter with 2 children I may add. The garden allowed sunshine, snacks, drinks & games with the children, and we were able to see the sunset in the distance. We visited the Giants Causeway, Portrush and the beaches nearby. Cannot fault the house at all. Thank you so much to Neville & his family. Will highly recommend another stay. Thanks again.

Couldn't be better

Fantastic experience especially after lockdown. Neville was accommodating and so pleasant. So much information available on local attractions. Property is huge and catered for all our various age needs. Great secure garden for children to play in and 5 mins from the beach. We will be back. Thank you

Family Trip

Traveled over for a family wedding was 10 in our party of mixed ages 1-51 accommodation was so warm and welcoming really a true home from home. Plenty of facilities cooking cleaning washing and a huge kitchen diner area Neville was so flexible and welcomed us on site to show us all around house before leaving us to our own devices

Our stay at ‘Seashells’

We are a party of 3 families and we have just spent the weekend at the Sea shells house. Beautiful house which met the needs of our gang of 13 people. Very clean and tidy. Owner very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this property and we hope to stay again.

Spacious, comfortable accommodation for 13

Definitely recommend this lovely property in a delightful little seaside town that has a wonderful beach. Our booking experience was excellent, the accommodation was spotless and well equipped This is a good base for exploring the beautiful Causeway coast and Antrim Glens and there is a good shopping centre in Coleraine 5 miles away. Seahells deserves a 5 star review for cleanliness, facilties, spaciousness and we hope to return

Ideal get away with a 5 star rating

Excellent house. Very clean and well appointed. Very spacious and well equipped, and well located for Northern Ireland's North Coast beaches and attractions. Short drives to/from Belfast, Londonderry and Co Donegal. (Train station a short walk from house). We got a great warm welcome from our host also a welcome pack. Before arriving we received reassuring text and phone from our host also . We had family from Scotland staying with us and they were very impressed and thoroughly enjoyed their stay and are planning for a return visit for next year. Other visitors we had at the house were also very impressed with the property. Thanks to Neville and Donna for looking after us so well.

Convenient, spotless, many-roomed house close to Portrush

Super-clean, deceptively large house, in village of Castlerock within walking distance of beach, pub and golf course. Easy taxi ride to Royal Portrush - we were there for the Open. Friendly, seamless check in process. Definitely would stay again!

Highly recommend this spacious home

Lovely spacious home, in a lovely quiet development. A perfect location close to the beach and train station. We stayed with another family and having 2 large bedrooms with en-suites was great. The showers had great power and plenty of hot water. There was even a toilet in the kids room if the needed to go during the night. Would definitely stay again if we were down that direction.

Great getaway

House is great, very clean, spacious and well equiped. Easy walk to Castlerock beach. Communication with owner quick and easy. Would definitely stay again.
