A charming and romantic shepherds hut with stunning rural views towards Salisbury Cathedral make this a perfect retreat. Ground Floor:

Open plan living space.

Living area: 25" Smart TV, Woodburner

Kitchen area: Breakfast Bar, Electric Oven, 2-Ring Hob

Bedroom area: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed garden with barbecue and garden furniture. Hot tub (private, available by request). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. There are Shepherds huts then there is The Hut at Hole Farm, this romantic getaway is located in the stunning Wiltshire countryside and offers a sumptuous bed with a wonderful ’picture window’ offering uninterrupted views across ancient unspoilt countryside.

The kitchen is modern but with a rustic charm. The breakfast bar for two also looks through the huts doors to the surrounding countryside. Unusually for a shepherds hut, there is also the modern convenience of a full shower room with large shower enclosure, toilet and basin.

The Hut at Holes farm is perfect for a romantic break with its own enclosed garden and luxury electric hot tub that will be pre heated for 1 special night of your stay by request to the owner prior to arrival and that’s guaranteed to make any break even more special. A traditional BBQ, bistro table and chairs ensure you really can make the most of the location by cooking and eating ’al fresco’ too!

For those crisp wintry stays the hut is equipped with underfloor heating and a log stove making this a truly year round destination. If you would like to make your stay extra special or if you have something to celebrate, please enquire direct with the owner after making your booking, about adding a hamper full of local produce available for £40.

If you can bare to tear yourself away there is plenty to do within a few miles, from visiting the stunning Cathedral City of Salisbury or taking in the sights of the iconic Stonehenge or Avebury rings.

Pete was a great host.

Pete was a great host. The views of the valley amazing and being in the hot tub at night looking at the stars hearing the Salisbury cathedral bells is something I'll never forget.The place had all we needed including an oven and hob. Sheep would come to say hello. We stayed with my puppy and all the area was secured. Only thing we missed was a proper bbq and the bed to be a bit longer as my partner is over 6 ft.

We had such an amazing time at The Hut.

We had such an amazing time at The Hut. Pete, the owner, was lovely, he had heated the hot tub for us and kept us topped up with logs throughout our stay. The views from The Hut were gorgeous and it was such a peaceful location. Only 10 mins from Salisbury, lovely city to visit. The hut was extremely comfortable and more spacious than expected. Could not recommend The Hut enough! A really calm, quiet and peaceful getaway. Pete and Georgie are on hand to help and closeby if needed, but leave you to enjoy your stay. A late night dip in the hot tub, a drink by the firepit and a cosy night in The Hut warmed by the log burner makes for a warm and homely stay. We can't wait to be back! Beautiful peaceful, a perfect haven.

The hut is perfect. So clean, has everything you need and the view is outstanding. The owners Peter and Georgina are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The walks are great the pub is very friendly and the food was superb too. Will definitely be back again and will stay for longer next time too.

It was a lovely few days at a lovely place! The hut is amazing, with a tv, fridge, oven and stove! The location is perfect, country side but only 10 min drive to Salisbury town centre! Absolutely loved the place! A short taxi ride from Salisbury city centre has it in an ideal location

Absolutely loved the place! A short taxi ride from Salisbury city centre has it in an ideal location while still feeling like you're in a world of your own. It's very dark at night, we even saw shooting stars from in the hot tub. Only issue we had was the room was very hot (given it had been above 30 degrees that day) and when opening the windows there were no netting to stop flies and moths getting in, which with it being rural there were a lot of. There was also no curtain on the window to the bathroom, we easily fixed this by hanging a towel up when one of us was showering, but with the construction site being directly facing the window it made it a little awkward. Despite this we had a wonderful time, the views from the cottage are beautiful and the hosts were lovely, even providing us with a few snacks and drinks to help us settle in. A beautiful little hut in a stunning location! Everything was well-thought out, from the decor inside to the hot tub positioning. You get given instructions for the hot tub too if you stay for more than one night which is really handy, plus plenty of extra wood for the fire! We were also left a few treats inside (bread and eggs for breakfast, tea, coffee and sugar plus milk, a bottle of prosecco and a bag of Neal's Yard goodies) which were lovely. Perfect!
