Discover the ultimate lakeside retreat at Lake George Resort, where comfort meets a classic "up north" feel in a serene setting. This cozy cabin, which sleeps 4, offers direct access to a full sandy beach and the expansive waters of all-sports Lake George. Step out the door to find the swimming dock to your left and a private bonfire pit for memorable evenings.

Inside, you'll find cable TV with free WiFi, a full-sized stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and all the cooking essentials you need. We provide all bed linens, so just bring your food and towels.

Enjoy complimentary use of 6 kayaks and a paddle board. Kids will love the large play scape and 2 swing sets, and there’s plenty of entertainment with volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and ping pong. Nestled on 2.5 acres with 500 feet of Lake George frontage, the cabin offers privacy and tranquility, yet is just 5 miles from West Branch.

Explore nearby activities such as canoeing and tubing on the Rifle River or attending events at the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds. West Branch provides shopping, dining, a theater, and a wonderful park.

Perfect

This was the perfect summer getaway spot on a gorgeous lake. Watching the sun rise and set and seeing the stars at night was such a treat, and Carin was an amazing, accommodating host. Would definitely book again and for much longer next time.

Our stay at Lake George

Stayed at Lake George over Labor Day Weekend. Had a wonderful time was met by the owner upon arrival she was very nice throughout our stay came by often to see how we were doing and if we needed anything.The cabin was clean and the lake was just outside our front door there were kayaks paddle boards there canoes there for guest to use. There was a gas grill plus a firepit that you could buy wood for a bonfire the wood was not expensive. Had a very relaxing stay would recommend Lake George to anyone wanting to get away to a quiet comfortable stay.

Amazing piece of paradise, highly recommend, peaceful and pristine

We were so thankful for our stay at your wonderful cabin. Everything was perfect! Our host was so friendly and gracious, checking in to make sure our every need was met. We had a wonderful weekend, watching our daughter build sand castles on the beautiful beach with newfound friends, paddling on the paddle board, casting for fish off the dock, and playing on the swing set trying to get her toes to touch the majestic willow trees. The cabin and bed linens were immaculate, all cooking supplies were within reach, and we enjoyed delicious food on the grill right outside our cabin. After a long memorable day playing in the sand, boating, and swimming, we enjoyed hot showers with great water pressure. One of our favorite memories was watching the bald eagles soar overhead, while we rowed across the calm blue lake. The views were incredible from every cabin window. This peaceful peace of paradise, gave us a chance to unwind and relax, while enjoying upper Michigan's great outdoors. Close proximity to amenities: stores, restaurants, etc. A great location with easy reach off I-75, but, at the same time tucked away in a beautiful natural setting. Best home away from home around

Carin and her dog Gigi were amazing! We were treated like family the entire trip! Didn’t want to leave! My twins and I experienced so many new things! Carin has everything you could possible need! We rebooked for next year because we had such an awesome time! We love Carin and Gigi❤️

I purchased this resort 20 years ago. I love living on the water's edge and enjoying all the fun the lake provides. I especially appreciate the peace and quiet this little piece of heaven provides. I feel blessed to be able to provide comfortable cabins for families to come for their vacation destination. There are several families who come year after year and it is amazing to see how much the kids grow from one year to the nest. I have developed some wonderful friendships over the years and that is the very best part of owning this little resort. It would be my pleasure to welcome you to Lake George. I live next to the cabins so I am are here all the time.

One of my guests described this little resort as "the peaceful place around the corner" and that about says it all. We are only a short 2 hour drive from anywhere in Michigan so you can easily do a day trip to Mackinaw or Lake Huron or Lake Michigan. However, West Branch provides many activities to enjoy right here. There is a wonderful park downtown, only 5 miles away, that has a huge play scape, basketball and tennis courts with a beautiful bubbling creek running through the park.

Enjoying the comforts of home with the unique up north feel helps you relax and totally immerse yourself in all of nature. Sitting on the shore with your feet in the sand, feeling the sun on your face, listening to the water lap the shore and the wind flow through the willow trees is a perfect way to spend your day. At night you can sit around your bonfire and look at the clear night sky full of stars that are so brilliant because we don't have a lot of light pollution up here. The awesome peace and quiet is the very best part of living on Lake George.
