For born romantics and those in search of something a little extraordinary, this 1-bedroom ‘Mazot’ in Les Houches provides a unique holiday experience.

Inside, the gorgeous retreat has been recently renovated throughout and boasts a cosy, chic interior comprising of an ambient open plan kitchen diner and an adjoining separate living space with l-shaped double sofa bed, a wood burning stove and large flat screen TV. The welcoming floor is serviced by two modern shower rooms. Upstairs, couples can easily unwind within a romantic master double bedroom, with low ceiling and unique glass floor panel overlooking the kitchen diner. For added flexibility, the downstairs living space can be closed off, enabling a 2nd couple to enjoy privacy whilst staying. Outside, the Mont Blanc view terrace.

The quirky holiday retreat is situated in a residence of other Mazots, with a communal garden; making for a memorable holiday base. Resident parking features onsite and for those looking to stay, a car is recommended.

Situated along ‘Allée des Bréventines’, guests are 5-8 minutes’ drive away from the well-serviced centre of Les Houches (home to eateries, shops, a ski school, tennis courts, an equestrian centre and train station) and the popular Le Prarion ski lift.

Just 8 minutes’ drive away, famous Chamonix boasts a wealth of ski and winter pursuits, as well as a buzzing resort centre with a weekly local food market and plenty of shops. A wide selection of world food restaurants, brasseries, cafes and wine & tapas bars can also be savoured. Those looking to enjoy a lively evening out will also be spoilt for choice; with a plethora of bars and live music venues to accompany the resort’s nightclubs, lounge bars and microbreweries.

In the summertime, the Chamonix valley provides a great destination for hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, riding, adventure parks, paragliding, water sports and golf. In the wintertime, the Chamonix valley is perfect for skiing and snowboarding; with schools, rental shops, pristine slopes, cross country routes and off-piste runs providing a great distraction for all abilities.
