Sea Breeze Villa – Peaceful Escape by the Shore

The house is an expression of an artistic spirit and has been renovated during four years by finest indigenous artisans. It is full of creative details such as cozy niches engraved in the walls, tailor made stone sinks and texturized iron doors. Build with authentic and organic materials, either selected from best Croatian producers or personally collected from local antiquaries or private owners.
The property around the house is of 1600m2 which guarantees absolute privacy. There is a green grass garden of approximately 350m2 surrounded by flowers and plants such as Jasmine, lavandula, rusmarinus, agapantus africanus, japanese red acer, bamubs Phillostahis aurea and an olive tree. The plants and flowers are provided water by an automatic watering system in the evening and at sunset.
The surrounding of 3000 m2 is mostly covered by oak trees and pines.
On the ground floow we offer a spacious living room with majestic cheminee and open space kitchen. White marble floor from Istria that Venetians used to build their beautiful city in the antique times. Finely decorated walls by renowned local artisan that used special technics and material such as organic mud from the area to mix up the brown color tonalities. Build-to-suit kitchen wooden furniture made of aged oak from Slavonia (far East Croatia). Most famous French wine and cognac producers use this very special wood, known for its robustness and special fragrance, to build their bariques. Brand new kitchen equipment from top brands such as two fridges, oven and dishwasher. Best quality kitchen supplies and accessories.
On the second floor the apartment is painted in an inspiring like-see color with renovated old white doors collected from our family Austro-Hungarian hotel from 1914 . The floor is made of antique brick tiles (named “tavelice” in local language) specially collected from old Istrian farm houses . Robust and generous stone sink and nice blue and white tiles. The terrace on the upper floor is just fantastic. One of the nicest spots in the house! Enjoying your cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine at sunset surrounded by the relaxing green leaves from the surrounding tree branches. The terrace has a peculiar design as it is opened in the middle for capturing the sunlight. There is a big wooden French style table fitting 6-8 persons and an amok for peacefully reading your book while gently swinging left and right.
On demand, you can use the washing machine for washing your clothes.

Right in front of the house you have a beach paved by stones and an area of concrete. By walking right towards downtown and leading left after the marina you reach an area called “Plicak”, which means literally “Shallow waters” which is pure sand and ideal for children. When walking along the shores of Plicak you will find basin filled with the special medical black mud.
On the contrary, if you lead left on the main street you encounter a little bay and many little beaches. This area is in complete wilderness and is ideal for biking.
