The apartment, located in a private and quiet location surrounded by gardens and the sea, is the perfect place if you are looking for relaxation and want to enjoy the most spectacular views of the Sorrento Peninsula. The large terrace overlooking the sea and the splendid outdoor swimming pool This modern and luxurious penthouse, located on the top floor of a villa in the green area of the city of Sorrento, is a few steps from the beach and the archaeological site of the queen Giovanna, the ancient ruins of a 2000 year old villa built on the rock overlooking the sea.
This apartment is the perfect choice for guests who want to enjoy Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, without sacrificing comfort, relaxation and breathtaking sunsets.

The apartment has been recently renovated and has an elevator, with a view of the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius and the Sorrento Peninsula from the private terrace furnished with sofas, chaise longues, tables and chairs.

Speaking of the property, obviously you will have access to the entire apartment.
The main bedroom is large and comfortable, bright and elegantly furnished, with attention to functionality and design, with spaces for storing objects, wardrobes and air conditioning.
The bathroom has just been restored, it has a hydro massage shower and some closets under the sink and mirror.
The airy and welcoming living-dining room is ideal for spending time with your family, for relaxing after a day of sightseeing in Sorrento or after spending a day hiking in the numerous sites near the city. It has a comfortable sofa bed, paintings and a large screen TV!

The dining area, with a modern and clean fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster and boiler) has all the utensils for cooking typical Italian dinners and is equipped with a dining table overlooking the Gulf of Sorrento.
The terrace, with one of the most beautiful views of the entire region, is one of the strengths of the apartment, together with the swimming pool and relaxation area, where you can comfortably read a book and relax with a glass of Italian wine.
Towels and sheets are provided! your unforgettable holiday.
Guests are totally independent and have access to the entire apartment.

Great location with an awesome outside deck for relaxing. Perfect place to just stay and chill. Easy walk to bus stop into Sorrento and great exercise on way back hill to apartment.

This is the place to stay in Sorrento! The property and grounds are absolutely breathtaking!! The cottage is stocked well and very comfortable! We spent hours on the terrace enjoying the view. The pool area was equally as beautiful. We had a private car drive us to the property and our wonderful host, Giuseppe, met us at the gate to drive us to the property upon arrival and departure. We did walk up and down the drive (10-15 minutes) but it was well worth it!! Giuseppe and Ornella were the perfect hosts!! We will absolutely be back!!!

We wanted a view and the penthouse terrace gives us what we wanted and more. Privacy, our own elevator and a quaint little house in the countryside.

Spectacular view

The view from the patio is spectacular, it is truly breathtaking. Enjoyed coming back in the evening and sitting on the patio with a drink and just looking out over the bay. All the lemon trees and the olive trees on the property and surrounding area were an unexpected plus.

Beautiful spot

This is a gorgeous space tucked away in the hills of Sorrento. Be aware it sits atop a huge hill that you will have to walk up and down to reach the bus stop. Also please note that the property’s manager will reach out to you rather than the owner; he is super friendly and will give you all the help you need during your stay. The house and property are gorgeous and it makes for such a nice vacation or romantic getaway!

Perfect honeymoon holiday villa

What an amazing place to stay, 10/10! The balcony has the most jaw dropping views. Ideally placed in Sorrento, with a short walk to a bus stop to take you into Sorrento old town. We had a car to get around but took the train and bus to some sightseeing trips. We also took a boat to Capri, Positano and Amalfi. Would 100% recommend this place. Friendly and easy communications with the owner, who had lots of advice and recommendations on where to go in the area. Thanks for a great stay.

The view of Sorrento was magical.

We fell in love with Sorrento. It's a beautiful city with plenty of things to do. You can also catch a ferry to Capri, Amalfi and Positano. The VRBO was beautiful and so comfortable. You're surrounded by olive trees and the view of the Bay of Naples is so amazing. The host helped us with getting taxis and dining recommendations. The hill from the street to the VRBO can be difficult but I'm 68 and I walked it several times.

Sorrento Sensation!

Our stay was more than amazing, the view is just unbeatable. The area is completely private including the huge deck we had all to ourselves. Even when we used the pool, it was just us. The owners live down below and we only saw them on our way in and out when they were outside, so it felt private, but if we needed them they were always responsive. The unit was very cozy with everything needed (except a dryer which for us Americans is not common, but the terrace was plenty warm for air drying). Short 20 min walk to the Bagni Ragina with no worries about parking, and very short drive into Sorrento and the marinas! Would 10000% stay here again.

Solitude in Sorrento

The property is comfortable and very clean, but the view from the terrace is what makes this place so special. Every night sitting watching the sun set was the highlight of my trip. If you are looking for privacy you will not find a better location. If you are looking for an easy walk to the city centre, this might prove to be a bit challenging, but there is a bus stop nearby and the host was extremely helpful arranging for taxi service. The pool area is beautiful and available, though we didn't take advantage of it.

Sorrento gem

What a place! If you want a quiet, peaceful place with a 1000 percent view, this is the place! Peppe and his wife were Devine! They helped me tremendously!! I had gotten food poisoning in Roma, and need some extra care getting up to the Vrbo and down, and they came through!! Got their car there for me to get into for the trip right to their front door!! Please come visit, they have such a unique place, and view’s galore!! Loved it!!

AMAZING VIEW

This property is perfect for a couple. The patio has one of the best views I have ever seen. The bus stop is right down the road which takes you right to the city center. Guiseppe is one of the best hosts we have had. He helped set up a car service for arrival and departure. He also answered all of our questions while we were there. The apartment is safe, clean, and very quiet. Perfect getaway from the busy city. The walk to the house from the bus stop is about a 10 minute walk uphill, I would highly recommend a Vespa if you have a tough time with walking hills. We would absolutely come back and stay in Guiseppe's apartment.

One Sensational Sorrento Apartment

Did I mention the spectacular views? This is a property that visitors to Sorrento, Italy should reserve as soon as possible. The apartment sits on top of a large villa in the hills just outside of the downtown area of Sorrento. This slightly under 1000 sq ft apartment has been beautifully renovated with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with washer, a large bathroom, and a bedroom with plenty of room for a king-size bed. Did I mention the breathtaking views? The 2000+ square foot dual patio with lots of lounge chairs, overlooks the city of Sorrento, Pompei, Naples and the islands of Capri and Ishika, and looks directly at an imposing Mount Vesuvius. The property has olive and lemon trees, grape vines, a garden of tomatoes and zucchini, and a beautiful swimming pool for guests. While the apartment does not have a clothes dryer, the upper patio has clothes lines to hang clothes in the sunshine. The city bus stop is a ten-minute walk to the bottom of the hill and a ten-minute ride to the center of town. Taxis can bring you up part of the way up the hill to the front gate of the property and it's less than a five-minute walk from the front gate up to the villa. The host occupies the villa and is most helpful with questions or recommendations for dining, wine bars, or travel arrangements. We plan return just to stay at this extraordinary property to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the world go by atop the hills in Sorrento. Don't pass it up. You'll be happy you didn't.

If you have any luggage or groceries this is not the place for you.

The view is fantastic, however if you have any bags you are going to have a hell of a time getting them up to the property. Our driver got lost (he was excellent, and very patient with us), as the listing address on VRBO does not show up as a selectable location when you book a taxi with SIXT, the official cab service in Naples. The gps location takes you up a goat path, literally. So unless you meet the host at the bottom of the mountain, you won't be able to find it on your own. Again, the property is beautiful, but from the closest bus stop it's about a mile walk, at a steep incline (think a black diamond ski hill) that is not lit (see photo). We are a very fit couple and the climb was not much of a problem for us, but we got in to the place around 8:45pm, and wanted to go get some dinner after our harrowing journey. There is nothing. No restaurants within 2 miles, and certainly no grocery stores. It would be the perfect rental to bring groceries to and just hang out by the pool and on the beautiful patio, but unless you are confident on Vespa or in a small car in a city where everyone drives like crazy (which is saying something coming from us, my husband is from Mumbai and we live in DC) then you won't be eating. The bus at the bottom of the hill is great and runs around every 30 minutes to go into the city of Sorrento. However, the last bus from the Sorrento train station is at 11pm, so no late night bar crawls. Also no hot water in the broken shower.

BEWARE! Location and description was misleading. This owner changed the Title after our stay!

Booked this property, titled "Historic Center of Sorrento” -mapped to the center of town. NOT IN TOWN; INSTEAD 20 min bus ride uphill, then a 20 min walk uphill on cobblestones, then a steep private drive, stairs, then the elevator. Owner gave directions 2 days before, then said if it wasn’t going to work, let him know. To find another place was impossible. He was gracious and picked us up after the bus to avoid the uphill walk for check-in. Had no car, had to walk, then bus/taxi (>25 euros/trip), private road didn’t have fit some taxis. After my complaint about the misinformation and inaccuracies and request for compensation, owner changed the title to "seaview and luxury attic,” and refused to be responsibile for misleading advert. My husband uses walking sticks, buses, crowded and difficult. Some wonderful things, gorgeous views, nicely appointed (tho only 2 glasses), nice pool area, but unit had maintenance issues. The pool-not clean, the shower wand and some jets -broken, umbrellas/shades -not available, and NO hot water in the shower, not recently renovated as advertised. VRBO was unhelpful, and I warn others. If I had read the reviews, I might have picked up on the location, but generally speaking I don’t read or leave reviews. Owner said he has only 5-star reviews for 10 yrs. Noticed there are only 4 reviews-curious. Maybe changing the listing? For the price point, location is a one-star-too far from town without a car and would appreciate a refund of some costs.

truly the worst guests ever had in 10 years of activity with maximum stars and ratings on any portal, just look at the reviews and ratings reported here. she made up a lot of excuses to try and get a refund which obviously neither I nor vrbo gave him, threatening disastrous reviews.... luckily the reality is clearly visible and the guests' reviews are our best advertisement. I hope we will never see each other again elisabeth

Wow! We cannot put into words how BEAUTIFUL of a view Giuseppe’s property has. From the moment we walked onto his property, we were mesmerized by the beautiful Italian views. Giuseppe was always ready to reach out/message us back. Him and his wife are exactly the hosts you hope for when traveling abroad. They were so kind and accommodating throughout our stay. If you are considering booking this home, do it! You will not regret it!!

Bella Italia!

Nach einer langen, langen Autofahrt von München aus, erreichten wir abendlich die Unterkunft in Sorrent. Abseits der stark befahrenen Straßen war die Unterkunft in einer sehr ruhigen Region von Sorrent. Die Sträßchen sind schmal, aber Guiseppe und sein Sohn warteten auf uns am Tor und lotsten uns im Dunkeln die Zufahrt zum Parkplatz hinauf. Was für ein tolles Grundstück mit Zitronen- und Olivenbäumen, und erst die Dachterrasse mit dem grandiosen Blick auf Vesuv, die phlegräischen Inseln, und Sorrent. Einmalig! Sonnenuntergänge wie auf der Postkarte... Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und komplett ausgestattet, optimal für 2 Erwachsene. Mit der Klimaanlage im August war das Schlafen ein Gedicht! Sehr schöne Poolanlage und Outdoor-Küche, die auch benutzt werden kann (Grill, Pizzaofen). Guiseppe und sein Sohn unterstützten uns immer mit Tips und Empfehlungen. Einkaufen ist kein Problem, es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt, der fußläufig in 5 min erreicht werden kann, wir benutzten das Auto und parkten im Supermarkt im Zentrum von Sorrent. Perfekte Unterkunft für 2 mit toller Ausgangslage für Trips nach Neapel, Caserta, Vesuv, Capri, Ischia und die Amalfitana! Klaus und Christina

Sorrento Hill Top

Great apartment for two. Easy check-in. Beautiful private 2,500 SF patio/deck with an amazing view of Napoli Bay, Capri etc. Up on a hill on top of a private villa, about 7 minute bus ride into Sorrento, 20-25 minute walk downhill. Bus runs every 20 minutes. 10 minute walk up-hill from the bus stop. Easy and cheap to catch the bus, 1.80 Euro. Or rent a Vespa.
