Built in the late 1800s, the home is rich in character and history and is ideally situated just three short blocks from Waterfront Park, as well as Beaufortā€™s downtown shops, art galleries, restaurants, and attractions.

Wonderful! Plenty of room for our family and wonderful location. The three dedicated parking spots were also a plus! Owners were extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again if I needed a place this size. We were there for my son's graduation from MCRD so this made it extra special!

This home is very cozy!We loved the porches and back yard garden!The location was perfect for getting to the downtown. It worked well for our family and we would stay here again. Would be happy to recommend it to family and friends.

This was a beautiful home. There were four of us, all middle-aged adults, staying here and it was plenty of room to spread out, read, or even nap! Mind you, there are stairs, and I had just had knee surgery but, once I got into the house, I stayed on the ground floor. There are two porches, one off the ground floor and one off the upper floor - nice places to relax and just hang out.The bedrooms upstairs are contiguous, two on each side with adjoining bathrooms. One of the best things about this house is its location, you are within walking distance of much of downtown Beaufort. The owner is just delightful to talk to - I texted her to ask about the sheets I slept on, they were the softest sheets I had slept on everā€¦The house was well appointed, though we didnā€™t cook. The kitchen was a nice place to hang out and just nosh while we talked.The backyard had lots of spaces to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet in that neighborhood. You can hear a little bit of the traffic, but thereā€™s so much greenery around. Itā€™s insulates a lot of the noise.I would highly recommend staying here.

Golden Girls Getaway

Seven longtime girlfriends enjoyed 3 nights in this beautiful house in the wonderful town of Beaufort. Lots of laughs, good food and a day on the beach at Hunting Island. Great location and accommodations for a girl's getaway. Hope to come back soon.

Perfect family wedding, perfect house

We loved this house! It was perfect for us. We had plenty of room, the location was amazing, and it felt like home! When we had questions, the owners were quick to respond and take care of our concerns. The back yard was a mood all by itself and we loved sitting out back in the morning with coffee and conversation. Thank you for a great SC experience!

There were 7 of us on our girls trip to Beaufort. We were celebrating 30 years playing ā€œBuncoā€ together! The property was perfect! Everyone had plenty of room, the location was great-short walk to downtown, beautiful home and the host was so prompt and helpful when we had a question. We all would definitely visit again! "Girls" Trip

I live here in beautiful Beaufort but could not accommodate 9 of my dear college friends. This house on the Old Point was perfect for 10 ladies in their 70's. Large kitchen, dining, and gathering room - not to mention the porches. Comfy beds for all and plenty of parking. The location was fabulous. The host answered all our questions promptly. Highly recommend for visitors to our special town!

Beautiful Beaufort

Our multigenerational family of seven stayed seven nights at this property and loved it! This 19th century home in the heart of Beaufort's historic district was clean, well-maintained, comfortable and perfectly fit our needs. The home is 3 blocks walking distance from the shops and numerous good restaurants on Beaufort's Bay Street. We loved strolling around the neighborhood and seeing the 300-year old live oaks draped with Spanish moss and the magnificent homes built in the 1700's and 1800's. Beaufort was a perfect base for our day trips to Charleston, Savannah, Hilton Head Island and the beautiful beaches at Hunting Island State Park.

Truly lovely, modern functionality, fully accomodating for our needs. It was the perfect home for us during this time, beautiful period furnishings, great gathering spaces but abundant privacy as well. Walkable for most of our needs. Gorgeous quiet neighborhood. Perfect get together!

Beautiful and convenient location to celebrate our sonā€™s Boot Camp graduation with extended family. Tons of charm and character! The outdoor trash bins were full upon our arrival so the lid couldnā€™t close. We ended up cleaning the mess the raccoons made of the trash ... Small problem for such a wonderful experience.

We are a couple from nearby Columbia, South Carolina, who fell in love with Beaufortā€™s timeless coastal charm. When we discovered this historic home in the heart of the Old Point neighborhood, it was in need of restorationā€”but we immediately saw its potential.

Over time, we carefully and lovingly restored the home, taking great care to preserve its original character while adding modern comforts for todayā€™s guests. It was truly a labor of love, and every detail was worth the effort.

This home is a one-of-a-kind property, rich in history and charm, and we are thrilled to share it with families and guests who appreciate authentic Lowcountry living. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do and create lasting memories during your stay in Beaufort.

Por que o anfitriĆ£o escolheu essa propriedade

Beaufort, SC has always been a place I would visit with our family. Our parents took us here when we were children, and we brought our children to Beaufort when they were young. We don't care for the 'touristy' locations that are overcrowded in SC, and we love the beauty, history, and beaches, in Beaufort. We chose to purchase this particular home because we love to restore historic houses, and this was an opportunity we could not pass up! This home was built around the turn of the 20th century, and was once the old North Street Aquarium. We saw the potential, and it was in a great location being within walking distance of the water, shops, and restaurants. We ended up having to replace porches, walls, ceilings (it was quite the renovation project!), but with a lot of work and time, we were able to renovate the home to the beautiful state it is in now. This house is truly one of a kind, and a part of Beaufort's history, and we are glad that we can share this with you!

For beach days, we also offer the option to arrange guest passes to Harbor Island or Fripp Island, giving you access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area.
