Riad Alkemia: authentic ancient riad with SPA & restaurant in the medina

In a quiet alley in the medina, 10 min. walking distance from Djemaa El Fna square, riad Alkemia is spread over 3 floors and accommodates up to 15 people in 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Rented exclusively, you will have at your disposal: a patio with swimming pool, a hammam, a relaxation area, a beautiful terrace with shaded areas and solarium, and a welcoming team who will take care of you. Housekeeping and breakfast are included. Available for special events as birthday, hen party and more.

Riad Alkemia is an authentic 18th century Moroccan riad that has been completely restored in 2019, all the while preserving its structure and the wonderful original architectural elements.

The riad is a peaceful refuge, placed in quiet alley far from the hustle and bustle of the markets only a ten minute walk from the Djemaa el Fna square, the heart of the medina, and less than five minutes from the Ben Youssef Madrasa (both UNESCO World Heritage Site) and three from the Secret Garden.

With the entire riad at your disposal, each corner offers a calming environment where you can immerse yourself in the true spirit of the space, and reinvigorate your soul. To us, the riad is a captivating and serene hideaway; and that’s exactly how we want you to experience it, too.

The staff will take care of the cleanings, the breakfast and of the meals, if you wish to enjoy it. We can organize a traditional lunch with pool view or a delicious dinner on the terrace, under the stars, by candlelight with livemusic, belly dance and storyteller show.

During the day you can enjoy the cool patio with pool, under the shade of palm trees, or enjoy a hammam with massage. The traditional hammam is an experience not to be missed! You can cool off with a cup of Moroccan tea in the relax area while reading a book, or enjoy a fresh orange juice on the terrace after sunbathing.

We can organize chauffeur services, traditional dinners, private parties, guided tours of Marrakech and its surroundings and many other activities: desert tours with dinner, hot air balloon, different workshops (cooking, henna, argan oil, pottery etc.), sessions of yoga and other wellness disciplines.
