Loved it and will be back!!

The space was great! We were here with parents, grand parents and kids and everyone had enough space to not be on top of each other. It’s only a 10 minute walk into the town which is great if you don’t want to use a car!!

We spend 9 days at the beautiful Villa Son Guinyol and had an amazing time! The landscape is absolutely incredible and the house offers many comfortable place to enjoy the views. The pool is amazing and has a nice outdoor camping spot close to it. We also really enjoy the cute town of Alaro which offers nice restaurants and has everting one could need. The host was very friendly and gave us helpful instructions and recommendations. We can highly recommend both the location and host.

We stayed for 10 days in this idyllic, very private location the Tramuntana mountains were the backd

We stayed for 10 days in this idyllic, very private location the Tramuntana mountains were the backdrop, just 10 mins stroll into Alaro. The finca is an old farmhouse, with plenty of room for our 2 families and beautifully secluded, surrounded by plenty of land with olive trees. The pool is fantastic, and the saltwater is so much nicer than the usual chlorine. The finca is well equipped lovely sunloungers by the pool, a few options for eating outside, and an outdoor table tennis set. All the bedrooms were large with cool white sheets, free-standing fans and clean bathrooms. We were lucky to have the added cuteness of 2 kittens who seem to live there with a few other cats. Victor visited every day to feed the chickens and tend to the produce growing in the garden, but we didn’t really see him and he didn’t come into the finca. We ate out in a few restaurants in Alaro and the food was great.

Enjoyable stay

Villa Son Guinyol is a beautiful traditional building with a huge amount of space both inside and out. The pool area is lovely. During an exceptionally hot week (38 degrees) the lack of air conditioning made sleeping uncomfortable even with the fans provided. The rest of the stay was better with a breeze. Kitchen is small but well equipped but no kettle. Lots of different seating areas for dinner. 10 minute walk into the village - various bars, restaurants, supermarket and small Saturday market in the Square. Lots of festivities in the village around mid August due to The Assumption of Mary celebrations. Victor, the handyman,was very helpful.

Very good villa

Good villa. Also reviewed longer on Airbnb. Pros: Big place, great pool, lots of space, barbecue room, long palm drive, good management. Cons: kitchen could be better equipped, beds could be conifer. Overall, very, very good.
