We stayed at Lowcross Cottage back in the summer when it was very hot. The cottage is so very beautiful, we came back to stay over Christmas. Obviously summer was very hot, and this time the weather was cold. The cottage keeps lovely and warm due to the controllable underfloor heating, plus the woodburner made things very cosy!

Beautiful weekend away!

Check-in was simple. Property was very clean and absolutely gorgeous. Situated next to beautiful woodland which was great for walking our dogs. Would recommend the Kings Head Inn for really good pub grub, great atmosphere and dog friendly. Overall a really enjoyable stay in a beautiful home! Thank you!

Lowcross Cottage is an absolutely beautiful property, it is presented immaculately! We stayed whilst visiting family. We have stayed in local hotels in the past, and also in similar type of accommodation but in the town itself, where parking can be a bit hit and miss. Lowcross Cottage is less than 5 minutes from my son's house so it is ideally situated. We shall be staying again on a future visit without a doubt!

Lovely clean, modern single storey house - I wouldn’t have called it a cottage.Has everything we needed.A few points I’d like to make though -There is no sign to say which building is the cottage, we guessed as there was car outside the other one.Access has a gate & a bin across half of it - the gate is not mentioned in instructions.The digital guide says there’s a Sky remote - there isn’t .So many links to “deals” in all messages from host & repeated several times.Discovered CCTV cameras recording any outdoor movement, even patio area - invasion of privacy & made us feel uncomfortable when going outside.No charging electric vehicles notices everywhere, does not make you feel very welcome,Shower - unable to lower temperature below 38No oven gloves!

Really comfortable and clean property.

We really enjoyed our week in the bungalow, thank you. All mod cons and a great shower. Clean rooms and comfy beds. We loved the alpacas :) Only improvements for us would have been a few more kitchen utensils/crockery (sieve, corkscrew etc) and the ability to turn the background bathroom fan off at night. But over all a lovely stay in this beautiful part of the world.
