Nestling in the Tuscan hills and set in mature gardens this original secluded family property is surrounded by a high ivy covered fence providing security and privacy. Located in a typical Tuscan landscape with extensive views on to undulating hills it is close to the small township of Lamporecchio, some 2 km away providing restaurants, shops and all amenities.
The private large sunny terrace is ideal for outdoor living and BBQs and is equipped with parasols, dining table, cushioned dining chairs (6) and deckchairs. The swimming pool is open from May to September. A cold water shower unit can be used before entering the pool which is maintained on a regular basis by Giancarlo, as is the garden.

The pool is fully equipped with deckchairs (cushions provided) and parasols.
A washing machine and drying racks are available for use by the guests.

The Casetta die Bufignano is arranged on two floors (ground floor and first floor) and is for private use only as is the large terrace overlooking the garden with flowering bushes, olive trees, cypresses and rosemary plants. The gated property is surrounded by a fence hidden under mature ivy and jasmine plants which ensures full privacy. There is off street parking on the drive way or garage and access to the swimming pool, occasionally shared with the owner when in residence.

You will be received by Fulvia and shown over the property. Giancarlo is responsible for the maintenance of the pool and garden and happy to help in any way possible. Both are friendly and trusted assistants.

Surroundings:
La Casetta di Bufignano is close to Lamporecchio which is some 2 km away and offers shops, restaurants and all the necessary services for a comfortable stay. La Casetta di Bufignano is located on the beautiful hills of Montalbano looking south, the climate is mild due to the beneficial influence of the winds coming from the sea, the vegetation rich in aromatic herbs and extended olive groves. Once the area was a Medici park used as a hunting reserve. In the surroundings you can visit several famous villas with their historic gardens such as Villa Rospigliosi, Villa di Papiano, Villa del Parco. The delightful small town of Vinci is a 15 minute drive away and pays homage to its famous son, Leonardo da Vinci, with a small museum and library as well as shops celebrating his art. A delightful drive to the house where he was born takes you past vineyards and olive groves and unique views over surrounding hills which evoke the true Tuscany
