Sunridge EcoPod is part of Sunridge Retreats, our small collection of unique countryside stays in the beautiful South Hams in Devon.

If the EcoPod is fully booked on your requested dates, please also look for Sunridge Geodome, Sunridge Cube 1, Sunridge Cube 2 and Sunridge Lodge, each with its own private hot tub.

VRBO doesn’t support video tours in every listing format, but a quick search for Sunridge Retreats will provide videos and a better feel for the EcoPod’s layout, private garden, hot tub and surrounding countryside.

🏡 SUNRIDGE ECOPOD

Sunridge EcoPod is a luxury cedar-clad retreat designed for 1–2 guests and particularly suited to couples or solo travellers looking for a peaceful South Devon escape.

Compact but cleverly designed, the EcoPod combines a contemporary interior with its own private garden, hot tub and cinema snug.

Large bifold doors open directly onto the deck and garden, allowing you to enjoy the countryside setting while still having all the comforts you need inside.

The EcoPod has a contemporary open-plan living and dining area with underfloor heating throughout, making it comfortable for stays at any time of year.

🛏️ SLEEPING, BEDDING & TOWELS

The living-area sofa converts into a small double bed for 1–2 guests.

✔ Bath mat

Guests only need to bring older, larger towels for hot tub use, as chlorine may mark or discolour the bathroom towels provided.

Please note that the fridge does not have a freezer compartment, allowing maximum chilled storage space.

The EcoPod sits within its own secluded garden of approximately half an acre, surrounded by trees, hedgerows and local wildlife.

Open the bifold doors and the indoor and outdoor spaces flow together, making the garden a lovely place to relax during warmer weather.

The surrounding area is home to birds, squirrels, foxes, badgers and other wildlife, so don’t be surprised if you spot a few visitors during your stay.

🔥 For fire safety, barbecues, disposable barbecues, campfires, firepits and other outdoor naked flames are not permitted anywhere on site.

🛁 PRIVATE HOT TUB

The private hot tub is exclusively for EcoPod guests and includes mood lighting for relaxing in the evening or beneath the stars.

Please bring older towels for hot tub use, as chlorine may discolour the bathroom towels provided.

The EcoPod’s living area doubles as a cosy cinema snug.

🐾 DOG-FRIENDLY

Sunridge EcoPod welcomes 1 well-behaved dog. Pet fee applies.

Please bring dog blankets to protect furniture and soft furnishings.

Dogs must not be left unattended inside the EcoPod, and any pet-related damage or additional cleaning beyond normal use may be chargeable.

📍 LOCATION

Sunridge EcoPod is set in the South Hams countryside of South Devon, within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park, the Salcombe coast, local beaches and some excellent country pubs.

Mothecombe, Bigbury and other South Devon beaches are within easy reach, making the EcoPod a lovely base for combining countryside relaxation with days exploring the coast.

Parking and self check-in details will be provided before arrival.

🎣 OPTIONAL FISHING

Sunridge Retreats has its own private wildlife lake.

Fishing is normally reserved for guests staying at Sunridge Lodge, Geodome and Treehouse, but EcoPod guests may occasionally request access in advance, subject to availability and the usual fishing rules and pass fees.
