Enjoy spectacular views of the Gulf Coast at Edgewater 1402. This Destin, Florida vacation rental is the perfect getaway for a relaxing time on the beach. With accommodations for six guests, you are sure to sleep comfortably in the coastal and serene condo.

The master bedroom with balcony features water views to wake up to each morning and sleeps two guests comfortably. Just off the master bedroom lies your private bathroom with a beautiful tiled walk-in shower and gorgeous granite countertops. The second bedroom is spacious enough for two guests and has a bathroom that is conveniently located to the right of the second bedroom, making it easy for couples or families to enjoy. The coastal design accents throughout the condo provides a tranquil escape. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops. Your guests will enjoy cooking up a delicious meal and sitting down at the breakfast bar or spacious dining room table. The washer and dryer are conveniently located off the kitchen if you need to do any laundry during your stay. Enjoy winding down in the spacious open living space in front of your Smart TV or outside on your private balcony that boasts stunning views of the ocean from the fourteenth floor. A variety of chairs and a beach cart are available for use and can be found in the closet conveniently located next to the front door of condo. Coolers are supplied and can be used by guest as well as a fun assortment of sand toys and nets. Pack n Play and booster seat are also available for families during their stay.

Edgewater offers resort style amenities, surrounded by luscious landscapes and tropical pools. Enjoy the views of the white-sand beach, stretching for miles. You also have access to beach service for a fee in season to make lounging in the sun even more luxurious. Within the Edgewater community, guests have access to resort style amenities featuring two beachside pools (one heated), waterfall feature, hot tub, children’s pool, basketball court, shuffleboard, playground, fitness center and beachside bar and grill.

Location was amazing! Anytime we had an issue it was addressed in a timely manner. We stayed for 5 weeks and Christian (maintenance ) was the best!

Loved the location

The condo is nice just needs a good paint job. Looks a little dirty with the walls messy and some of the ceiling is peeling in the living room. We had all we needed in the unit. The AC needs to be serviced and I did let the company know. Master bedroom gets really hot at night. Other than that the views are awesome and the location to everything is great!

Little piece of heaven

Walked in and thought “Ah, I could live here”. The beach to the Gulf water is only steps away from the back of the property. Will definitely visit this property again.

Great View

We absolutely loved our stay! Waking up to that view every morning was just amazing! However, watching the sky change at dusk over the water was breathtaking! The condo was just as described. The listing photos don't do it justice! My family has deemed it THE condo to plan our trips around from now on!

The condo was in a nice location and had nice furniture. The sheets and paper products were cheap. No extra pillows or blankets. No beach towels or extra cleaning products. If you are traveling via plane, this condo would be an issue… you would spend a great deal of money purchasing everything you needed. If you travel by car, expect to need everything.

Our properties are stocked with standard essentials, including kitchenware, bed linens, a starter supply of paper products for the first 24 hours, and basic cleaning tools. Due to current cleaning protocols, blankets are only provided for sleeper sofas. Beach towels and full cleaning supplies are not included, as guests often bring or purchase items based on their needs. We appreciate your feedback. Great Family Vaca Spot!

This was possibly the cleanest overall rental property that we have ever stayed in. We did have an issue that was very quickly handled & the communication with the property management company was great. I would suggest clarifying the check in process after the booking has been made because there wasn't any information provided for the gate & we had to check in with the clubhouse to be let onto the property. Overall it was a great location with great amenities!

winter retreat

very nice condo, just the cleaning crew doesn't believe in washing floors. Everything else was clean, but our feet were black on the underside after walking around and unpacking within 30 minutes, so I washed the floor. With the price you charge for cleaning that should of been done.

Beautiful area but because of pandemic everything was closed. We will be back though.

Beautiful condo, but working with property manage was not so great. Door lock malfunction & locked us out many times. 2 coffee pots broken, shower pressure horrible/barely any, tv in spare room would not work, fridge leaking water! It was so frustrating. We really enjoyed eating on the deck & the place is very nicely decorated. Bed was super comfy but with so many issues in our short 2.5 days I am not very happy as this was not cheap! Sad we had to leave early due to closures but that was not owners fault.

Spring break 2024

Overall, great place to stay. Not too crowded even on spring break. Elevators were kind of a mess and we had some troubles getting them to work properly on several occasions. Sounds like they’re getting replaced soon. Heated pool was only heated some days and not everyday. Not the condo owners fault obviously. The other thing that troubled us was that you’re not allowed to use your own umbrella. Have to pay the beach attendant every single day. Also for chairs if you don’t bring your own. That can add up to hundreds of dollars for a week that is unexpected. Should be noted in property description. Location is perfect for grocery store, food and shopping. Would definitely stay again.

Edgewater

When we arrived at the condo we brought our things to the room. We all took our shoes off at the door (that’s what we do at home) within 15 minutes our feet were black. I had To to go buy cleaning supplies and clean the place before we could unpack. It took a whole box of swiffer wet pads to clean the floors and they were still black. The elevator did not work for 2 days. Fixed it for half a day. Next day the lights, water, and elevator stopped working that night. We had to carry all of our belongings down 14 flight of stairs with 4 kids. It was very unpleasant to stay here. I’ll never be back.

Pretty Condo!

The condo itself is very nice and decorated beautifully!! The only complaint about the unit was the washer smelled so we did not use it, and while using the microwave it stopped working and the lights in the kitchen went out as well. However, the complex needs to be better maintained. The elevators are filthy and there is an odd smell walking from the elevator to the parking garage. My only other complaint is the rental chair employee was extremely rude and told us to "get off his property" because we brought our own beach chairs. No one wants to be told where they can and cannot sit on a beach. If someone wants to rent a chair that's fine but every one should be able to sit where they want. We had to drive down the street every day in order to avoid the argument. I did not realize Edgewater is a "resort" with such policies, and we would not stay here again but like I said the condo itself is excellent with comfortable beds!

Destin vacation 2022

When we arrived one of the gate fobs didn’t work ! There was construction work going on that we were not informed of ! There was a dryer sitting in the middle of the floor with a door leaning against it ! No one informed us of that ! Had to have repairman come to instill it ! Then when we got into the room maintenance man repeatedly announced over the intercom about returning luggage carts ! Very annoying and disturbing ! While relaxing at the pool I guess .a grounds keeper kept coming by and making young kids get out of the hot tub ! Horrible policy to tell guests their kids under 14 can’t get in the hot tub with out being threatening to evict them ! The door lock latch wouldn’t lock properly ‘ it was a pain to get the door to lock ! The bathrooms were extremely small !! We will not stay at Edgewater again ! The pictures online make it look like a brand new unit but needs a lot of work and updating!

WARNING 3.5 STAR

I gave it a 4 as I couldn’t give it a 3. It’s really a 3.5. PROS: comfortable beds, remodeled/updated, nice views & beach supplies/toys in the hall closet I assume left by prior renters. We left two tailgating style chairs. CONS: YOU CANT BRING YOUR OWN BEACH UMBRELLA. This was upsetting as we saw nothing stating that was the case when booking. I would have never booked this condo knowing that. It cost us an additional “I cant say or VRBO wont post my review” a day to stay here as we were forced to use the condos umbrellas/chairs. You also have to tip the beach attendants who set up the beach umbrellas each day. They def deserve it though... what a job. There are two elevators but both located at the same end so depending on where your condo is it’s a trek getting to the beach. You have to go all the way down to the elevators just to back track the direction you just came from on the bottom level. You basically have to walk the full length of the condo twice, cutting through a hallway then walk through the pool area to get to the beach. If you’ve got kids or a bunch of beach supplies GOOD LUCK. I know it is the beach but the prior vacuum job was terrible. There was sand everywhere. We vacuumed daily and the first day I vacuumed I found stuff that, had someone properly vacuumed previously, would have easily been found (like lifting up the rug or moving bar stools). You pay when you book to have the unit cleaned and to be told there’s absolutely no chance of an early or late check in/check out due to their “extensive cleaning procedures” felt like a scam. Lastly, it was hard to cook in the kitchen as there was only one skillet, a sparse range of cooking utensils, & only 4 coffee cups. We did dishes daily but only had two DW pods. Luckily we thought to bring extra of our own so if you dont, you’ll have to buy more while you’re here in addition to paper towels. Only one roll of TP per bathroom & only 1 roll of paper towels. We decided to grill one night instead but the grills do not work or do not work properly. In short, if you dont mind the long walk (and we really didn’t but it was a con), dont mind the $80 extra bucks a day to not have to drag your beach supplies half a mile (ended up being worth it) and plan on eating out every meal (what we resorted to), this place would be perfect. It is in a really great location and in the end, we were at the beach!

Adorable Condo

The condo is adorable. It has been nicely updated. It was very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The front load washer needs the rubber ring replaced....I heard this is common. Parking can be an issue but we figured out it is easier to park outside of the gate! The fitness room definitely needs a deep cleaning! The pool area is great! The beach service is amazing! Dre and his team took care of us and checked on us throughout the day. They work so hard! They deserve big tips! I found the best way to get in touch with the management company is through their Facebook page. I would stay in this condo again!

Beautiful Condo

This condo is beautifully decorated. Clean, beds were comfortable. The view off the balacony was awesome. The TVs would only get one channel in. Honestly, that did not bother us! There were games in the condo and we had a great time! Some of the outlets did not work. Would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

The property was described perfectly. Very clean, beds were very comfortable, view was amazing, balcony is very large. All the access codes were sent to me before arrival, paid for early arrival which was perfect, we were unpacked and on the beach before everyone else was arriving. Saturdays are very busy. Keyless entry was great, no keys to keep track of. Parking was an issue as it was very busy and the parking garage is too small for large suv's. Every person we talked to in the complex was really helpful and friendly. The beach service is also a bit of an issue. The unit does not come with free service but that didn't make any difference. You have to go down in the morning and pick the place you and your family want to set and wait until the beach attendant comes to check you in. If you are not there when they come around for check-in and you have claimed the seats with towels and personal belongings, they will remove those items and put them behind there beach stand and you will have to find different seating when you return. The beach guys start checking in at 9:30ish, but some days it wasn't until after 10:30. Seems like there would be a better way to handle the beach service. This place was perfect and we would rent again.

Beautiful condo!

This condo was exceptional! We felt very comfortable staying here. The decor and detail in design were fantastic. It was very clean and well stocked with anything you could need including all beach toys, coolers, boogie boards, chairs etc. The view was stunning from the large balcony. The complex itself is large with 2 pools, basketball, playground and shuffleboard. The staff at the beach and at the gate were very friendly. We will stay here again in the future!

Emerald Coast View

Great view of the Emerald Coast. This location is away from the hustle and bustle of Destin. The pools are great. The unit was immaculate and newly remodeled. Two king size beds and two good sized bathrooms.

Perfect Labor Day Weekend. This beautiful condo will not disappoint. We will be back to 1402 soon!

The pictures do not do this condo justice. We were so happy here and could not have asked for a cleaner, more well-kept home away from home. I'm the renter who does a sanitizer wipe routine on all surfaces upon entering. Light switches, door knobs etc. This place is spotless from top to bottom! Not to mention the beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Hands down, my favorite rental. Thank you, owners, for caring for your home so beautifully. We loved reading on the patio, our beach time, along with just hanging out with the family playing cards at the table. Usually, we are ready to get back to our "own beds" when ending a vacation. Not this time. The beds were so comfortable and it all felt like home. The owners didn't cut corners when furnishing this lovey home. We will be back! Thank you from Atlanta
