A beautiful luxury apartment in a villa with private entrance just a few minutes' walk from the center of Kaprun. Supermarket | ski bus stop | K-onnection you will find it all at a short distance. The living room has a comfortable seating area with flat screen TV. The fully equipped kitchen with large Austrian seating area is fully equipped. From the dining area you have a view over the center and the Kitzsteinhorn. There are 5 parking spaces, two of which are under the carport. You can store your winter sports equipment in the heated and lockable large ski storage room with ski boot dryer. You can also place MTBs here. In short, a spacious apartment with great comfort for 12-14 people. Plenty of space! Due to the central location near the center, the ski bus and the ski slopes, a car is not necessary during your stay. Kaprun is known by ski enthusiasts as a great winter sports resort. A short (walking distance) distance from the new 3K K-onnection to the glacier.
Many benefits for our guests: As our guest you will receive a great online discount on all ski and snowboard lessons and rental of ski equipment. The supermarket is (almost) at the door. Fresh buns from the bakery, but also groceries from the supermarket can both be done online and delivered to your home.

Excellent for a large family

A family of 9 shared the lower apartment of this house (bottom 2 floors with a spacious deck). The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of seating for the family. We had enough common space for rainy days as well. The apartment was very clean and the rooms large enough. The deck is fabulous with beautiful view of the mountains on one side and the village the other. The village, restaurants and shops are all a short walk away. The bike trail is literally 30 seconds from the house and Billa grocery is 2 min walk. Would absolutely recommend!

Haus Almkreek......as good as ever

We have just returned from our third time of using Haus Almkreek as our base for our group of skiers, keen to ski the slopes of the Kitzsteinhorn mountain in early December. Haus Almkreek continues to be a beautifully maintained property of real quality in the town of Kaprun. It is ideally situated for the free bus either into Kaprun or up to the gondola lifts that provide access to the ski slopes (3 minute walk to the bus stop). A walk into the town is only ten minutes as well. Also, shopping for provisions is no problem at all because the Billa supermarket is only a 1 minute walk away. The furnishing and provision of equipment is top class and so very well organised. Arrangements for our arrival (for us it was the middle of the night) were managed very efficiently with regard to travel directions, access to keys and contact with a local "landlady" should it be necessary. The property owners Els and Jerry Smith provided an excellent service in dealing with the financial and logistical arrangements of our visit and were always ready to answer any queries that we had particularly in relation to access ski hire equipment on the mountain for some of our group. On our journey back to England, we were already planning our trip for next year and using Haus Almkreek as our base of course. A wonderful few days skiing in Kaprun using the outstanding accommodation that is Haus Almkreek. We will be back!! Eric D

Beste Mark, Het klopt inderdaad dat de beheerster dit heeft uitgelegd. De plug bestaat uit drie delen die je aan elkaar schroeft. Helaas heeft een van de vorige gasten, waarschijnlijk per ongeluk, een deel weggegooid, mogelijk omdat ze dachten dat het kapot was. Aangezien dit niet gemeld werd, ontdekten we het probleem pas bij de schoonmaak, en konden we het niet tijdig repareren. Het onderdeel was helaas niet meer te vinden, en we moesten een nieuwe bestellen, die jammer genoeg niet op tijd arriveerde voor jullie verblijf. Gelukkig was de vaatwasser nog wel in gebruik, zodat jullie niet met de hand hoefden af te wassen! Nogmaals bedankt voor jullie begrip en we hopen jullie in de toekomst nog eens te mogen verwelkomen! Tolle geräumige Wohnung

Tolle geräumige Wohnung. Super Lage zu den Skigebieten Schmittenhöhe (5 min) und Kitzsteinhorn (1 min über Maiskogel). Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs fußläufig erreichbar. Wohnung tip top auf 2 Etagen. Sehr geräumiges Wohnzimmer, Küche mit großem Esstisch und Kochinsel und Betten mit bequemen Matratzen; Esszimmerbänke (Holz) etwas hart (Sitzkissen wären toll) und der Skischuhwärmer war zu kalt aber sonst nichts zu meckern. Übergaben sehr unkompliziert, Ansprechpartner vor Ort super nett. Parkplätze (waren 4 Autos) vor dem Objekt vorhanden. Absolut empfehlenswert und daher 5 Sterne👍

OTTIMO SOGGIORNO PRESSO HAUS ALMKREEK KAPRUN

Bellissimo alloggio in ottima posizione, su strada tranquilla e silenziosa con un super market a pochi passi. L'alloggio ha ampi spazi ed abbiamo sfruttato con soddisfazione la terrazza con il grande tavolo e il giardino dove abbiamo trascorso piacevoli giornate. La cucina è grande e ben attrezzata, occorre solamente inserire qualche coltello in più da cucina per verdure e strofinacci per asciugare le stoviglie. Le camere sono luminose e i letti sono molto confortevoli. Una bella vacanza in una bella villa.

Super Kurzurlaub in Kaprun

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in Kaprun verbracht, das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet, alles war sauber und entsprach der Beschreibung, die Lage des Hauses ist Super! Der Supermarkt ist gleich ums Eck, sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Famile Smith und die Frau Bütner waren immer für Fragen ansprechbar und sehr schnell telelefonisch erreichbar. Wir würden gerne nochmal kommen, vielen Dank!

Haus Almkreek.....as stunning as ever!

I have just returned from my third visit to Kaprun using Haus Almkreek as our base from which to enjoy the ski slopes of the nearby Kitzsteinhorn mountain. The quality of all the facilities in the chalet/villa is outstanding with absolutely everything provided for a group of residents, ranging from ample crockery and cooking facilities to a washing machine, sauna and good wifi. The furnishing of the lounge and bedrooms is top-class. The property is maintained to a spotlessly high standard and it's location is ideal, with a supermarket 2 minutes away, the bus stop for the free bus to the slopes just 4 minutes away and only 10 minutes walk from Kaprun centre for shopping and/or apres ski activities. We enjoyed our visit so much, that on our return journey to England we were already discussing our plans to use Haus Almkreek next year. The owners, Els and Jerry Smith were very helpful in all the organisation and planning of our visit and were very prompt in responding to any questions or issues that I raised. I have no hesitation in recommending Haus Almkreek as a base for a holiday in the Kaprun and Zell am Zee area.

Schönes Feriendomizil für große Gruppen

Wir wahren mit zehn Erwachsenen und sechs Kindern im Haus Almkreek, uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen, bis auf ein paar nötigen Schönheitsreparaturen ist das Haus in eine seht guten Zustand besonders hat uns die Sauna gefallen in der man nach dem Skifahren sehr gut entspannen könnte. Die Ausstattung in den Wohnungen ist komplett, als Vorschlag würden wir noch eine Mikrowelle empfehlen.

Wir waren mit 17 Personen im Haus Almkreek und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Schöne, großzügige Küchen und Wohnräume. Schlafzimmer mit ausreichend Platz. Skiraum vorhanden. Sauna etwas klein, aber vorhanden :-). Nette Kommunikation, auch unsere kurzfristigen Änderungen vor Reiseantritt brachten die Gastgeber nicht aus der Ruhe. Sehr empfehlenswert! vor Anreise

Traumhaus am Alpenrand

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe im Haus Almkreek und hatten einen richtig geilen Urlaub. Dies war auch deswegen möglich, da Haus Almkreek uns alle Möglichkeiten bot, die wir brauchten um einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu haben. Unsere Reise findet seit 6 Jahren statt und Haus Almkreek war die beste Unterkunft, die wir bisher hatten.

An outstanding property in beautiful Kaprun

Haus Almkreek is a beautifully maintained property of real quality in the town of Kaprun. It was perfect for our group of 16 skiers keen to ski the slopes of Kitzsteinhorn mountain in early December. It is ideally situated for the free bus either into Kaprun or up to the gondola lifts that provide access to the ski slopes (3 minute walk to the bus stop). Also, shopping for provisions is no problem at all because the Billa supermarket is only a 1 minute walk away. Haus Almkreek is set on 3 levels and could provide for two separate smaller groups totalling up to 21, but for our large group of 16 it was perfect in size and facilities. The furnishing and provision of equipment is top class and so very well organised. Arrangements for our arrival (for us it was the middle of the night) were managed very efficiently with regard to travel directions, access to keys and contact with a local "landlady" should it be necessary. The property owners Els and Jerry Smith provided an excellent service in dealing with the financial and logistical arrangements of our visit and were always ready to answer any queries that we had particularly in relation to access ski hire equipment on the mountain for some of our group. We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay in Haus Almkreek, would definitely return again next year and would have no hesitation in recommending it to other families or groups whether they are skiing in the winter or enjoying the mountain air in the summer.

Super Ferienhaus!!!

Dieses Ferienhaus ist wunderschön, sehr luxeriös eingerichtet und super sauber. Wir waren 9 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder, jede Familie hatte ausreichend Platz. Die großen Wohnküchen sind ideal, um sich nach den Skifahren gemeinsam zum kochen zusammenzufinden. Der Skikeller mit skischuhheizstäben ist sehr schön. 100-prozentige Empfehlung!! Sehr schöner Urlaub, danke den Vermietern und der ausgesprochen netten Haushälterin.

Fantastic house!!!

Your house is fantastic, everything was perfect for us and I would recommend to everyone to stay there. The bedrooms are very good, the beds are very comfortable after skiing everyday. Some of us used the sauna and were very happy with it. We organized in the way, that the kids used the top floor, so we only used the kitchen on the main floor. We could eat together in the evening with 15 around the kitchen table, and 4 on the bar stools. So the kitchen was very nice, oven a bit small, but we worked around that, by using the oven on the top floor and the BBQ outside. We use the spacious and comfortable living room in the evening. The ski room with the ski boot heater was a hit, and the location was perfect, both for shopping in Billa and going to the ski bus. Renting a car was not needed for those two weeks, which is a huge plus for a group of 19. So, in all, everything was perfect for our perfect holiday in your fantastic house, it's a 10 out of 10 for us. - Thordur Gislason

Top accommodatie !

Met een grote groep van 19 personen hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad in huis Almkreek. Luxe, comfort, mooie inrichting en een perfecte ligging op weg naar de gletsjer in Kaprun. Communicatie vooraf was prima. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Bedankt voor je review. Leuk ook dat we je vooraf (in de herfstvakantie) persoonlijk een rondleiding door de villa konden geven. Voor de organisatie van alles is dat waarschijnlijk ook prettig geweest. Fijn dat alles naar wens was. Graag tot ziens! Een hartelijke groet, Els Smith

Fantastisch huis !

Wij hebben met onze groep van 19 personen een geweldig verblijf gehad in huis Almkreek. Veel ruimte, moderne inrichting, dichtbij de skibus en supermarkt, goed aan te rijden naar de gletsjer zijn de sleutelwoorden. Daarbij een prima communicatie voor en achteraf met de eigenaar. Een echte aanrader!
