Creek Side Mountain Cabin Retreat

After just a few hours at this amazing cabin retreat, you will notice how quickly your stress and cares fade away as you soak in the sounds and views of Mother Nature at her finest, whether it is sitting in a hammock under the huge pine tree or wandering the trails next to the babbling brook. Serenity is guaranteed!

The cabin was built to accommodate multiple families and can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests (but there is room for more on pads and couches, up to 22 people or so, with a surcharge of $15 per person per night over 14 people). This getaway is sure to recharge your batteries and add some fun memories.

* Please note: when requesting a stay at the cabin, please include your purpose in coming, such as family reunion, work, vacation, etc. Thanks!

** Unfortunately, we are not equipped to handle large church or youth groups or to host large ceremonies.

*** There is a live camera on the porch, which is always connected. There is also a Google Assistant inside, which can be turned off.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful cabin, the pictures don’t do it justice. More than enough room for our group of ten. Douglas was easy to work with and communicated everything clearly. Lots of options for entertainment, from the pool table to the many games and puzzles. The property is beautiful. Would absolutely stay again!

Great family time.

This was our second time at the Creek Side Cabin, and we loved it. It comfortably fit our family of 7 adults and 8 young boys. Because of our timing, the snow melt had the Creek running too high for the kids to play in, but they had fun catching lizards, playing in the play house, sitting around the table playing cards, or playing pool. Everything was in good working order, very clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and great to work with. We hope to be back again.

Amazing cabin, secluded location in the Mount Pleasant foothills. Great for a party or large family. Highly recommend. Host very communicative. Great!

Friends get away

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. Doug was very easy to communicate with and was very helpful with any questions. His place was just as advertised and is very nice!! Would recommend for sure.

Beautiful cabin and property

The cabin and property are really lovely. There was a water main break and we did not have water in the cabin for part of the first evening. Doug was great in keeping us up to date on the issue and making it right. My one comment about the listing is that it really only sleeps 12 people on beds. There is plenty of room on couches and pads that are provided, but only 6 beds in the 5 bedrooms. One room does have a climb-up loft with a pad on the floor, but that is not really a bed. That said, the cabin is very roomy and the 15 of us enjoyed our stay! An extra star for the big fluffy towels, great mattresses and bedding!

Get away from it all

This is a great place to stay to get away from it all. We enjoyed the little playhouse & other activities available at this cabin. There was plenty of room for all 15 of us to interact & sleep comfortably. It met our needs very well & would stay there again.

Great experience in a beautiful location

Very well maintained and supplied home in a beautiful secluded setting on a creek. Adults loved the accommodations and the kids loved the creek and games. Very quiet and relaxing with beautiful grounds and lots of wildlife. Deer, turkeys, marmots,squirrels, hawks and lots of hummingbirds. Elevation of 7000 ft or so and pleasantly cool evenings. We had brief rain showers each evening and spectacular skies. Lots of outdoor activities in all directions. Best VRBO site we’ve been to in the past several years. Couldn’t be better.

Family Retreat

Beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains close to Mt. Pleasant. The cabin was a lot larger than expected with lots of extra things for kids of all ages to enjoy. My younger kids enjoyed the 'kid cabin' that was fully stocked with make believe living, while my older kids enjoyed playing pool and gaming systems. Douglas, the owner, was very accommodating and helpful with giving suggestions for trails near by to ride our side by sides. We discovered the hard way that riding our side by sides with-in the gated community is frowned upon by the neighbors, so we tried to be respectful and only ride to and from the gate and garbage dumps, and motorcycles are forbidden. The temperatures during the day time were abnormally high, but the best perk of the cabin was it had air conditioning! Also, the creek behind the cabin was a perfect place to cool off. Overall, great stay!

Great cabin

The cabin and surrounding property are beautiful. We had a great time enjoying the grounds during the day and games at night. We will definitely be coming back.

Clean, beautiful cabin!

This cabin was so much bigger than it appeared in the pictures! We were really impressed with how clean it is. The kitchen was so well stocked, we had everything we needed to cook and serve meals for our group of 15.

Great Cabin for Large Group

This cabin is perfect for large groups. The property manager, Doug was excellent with communication and checked in with me during and after our stay. The cabin is well stocked with all supplies and paper goods. Would definitely recommend to family and friends to stay here.

Beautiful House, Great Setting

I rented this house to accommodate my immediate family while attending a funeral service in nearby Fairview, UT. The house is beautiful and easily accommodated our party of 14, with plenty of room. It is well furnished and the kitchen is quite well equipped, which was important to us as we prepared and served meals for 14 people during our 3 day stay. The setting in the foothills above Mt Pleasant is lovely. If the weather had been better, we would have spent more time outside, but there is plenty to do inside, with many games, books, satellite TV and a pool table provided in the house. The property manager, Doug was great to deal with, he answered all my questions promptly and really made an effort to ensure that our stay there was enjoyable and trouble free, and also followed up with me afterwards to return some items that one of our group left in the house. The only thing I would mention as a possible downside is access. This property is located in a gated community, and each time you need to go somewhere outside the gate you have to open a lock box, retrieve a gate key and unlock and lock the gate. This to me was a minor issue, but I mention it for the sake of completeness. We had to go in and out quite a lot due to the reason we were there, but most people staying there probably wouldn't. Overall our experience there was great, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place for a family vacation with great access to outdoor recreation, or just if you want a really cool place to stay if you are in the area.

Cozy and roomy

Hi, we spent the weekend at this cabin because my daughter was graduating from the local boarding school. We had members from three different families and we could all have our own floor to have privacy when needed. We cooked in the kitchen which was fully stocked with pots and pans and knives and plenty of room for dining together at a large table and then lots of seating in the family room for after meal conversations. Thank you! I wish I had discovered this place earlier!

A beautiful oasis in fall foliage.

We had a brilliant time during our stay. It was a was a wonderful staging area for everybody's different weekend plans. It also allowed us to get back together in the evenings over a home cooked meal, look out at amazing fall colors, play some pool and get a wonderful nights sleep.
