Perfect Location, Wonderful Apartment

Very clean, very quiet, perfectly located apartment. Darling courtyard, we’ll-equipped kitchen, everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. If you need complete darkness when you sleep, bring eye masks as the street lights are quite bright.

Amazing location! Amazing apartment!

This is the cutest little apartment right in the heart of Plaka. In my option, there is no better neighborhood in Athens. Just a half block off the cute marble streets, shops and incredible restaurants, Pygmalion's place is a dream. The apartment was clean, cozy and even came with a semi stocked fridge with the basics needed before shopping on your own. Pygmalion was very attentive, answered our questions immediately and gave great recommendations for places to go and restaurants to dine at for the family. I felt incredibly safe the entire time staying in Athens, and especially Plaka. Our kids (9 and 13) loved the apartment, the neighborhood and the shops. We stayed for 9 nights and only wish we could have stayed longer. I very highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Great Location!

If your priority is location, this is your place! It is in the heart of Plaka, near restaurants and awesome walking streets but just a block away so it isn’t loud or strangers constantly walking by. I would recommend the owner get a second key. You can’t lock the home without the key, so you either lock yourself in or the place stays permanently unlocked if you and your friends want to go in different directions. The upper floor is an open railing so I wouldn’t recommend for small children but for our 9 & 11 yr olds it worked well. Hot water in the morning is tricky so showers at night were required for our family of 5 but I imagine a couple wouldn’t have issues in the morning. Overall, a nice city place and met our expectations. Huge plus for our kids is an incredible gelato place and breakfast pastries only 1 block away.

Lovely stay in Plaka

Pygmalion was very helpful! We were arriving late in the evening and Pygmalion offered to arrange a ride from the airport, which we accepted. When we arrived at the home the lights were left on to welcome us. We really enjoyed being walking distance from many sights. This was the perfect location. We were close to many restaurants and shops. The local cats were fun to watch as well. The home was perfect for my husband and me. We had been traveling through Europe for three weeks and this was the perfect place to relax. The bathroom was small but we were able to manage. The air conditioning worked well. It would get warmer in the loft but a fan helped move cooler air to the bedroom. We spent two nights on Paros during our stay and when we returned we felt we were back to our Athens home. Pygmalion was quick to respond to questions and requests. We required a COVID test prior to returning home so I asked where we could have one done. Pygmalion responded with a location within two blocks of the home that had reasonable cost as well. We would definitely return to this location and would recommend it to our friends as well. You can’t beat the location.

Perfekte Lage in Athen für 2-3 Nächte

Pygmalions Appartment liegt einfach super, für unsere 2 Nächte und Tage, um Athen zu entdecken, war es perfekt. Ich war mit meinen drei Töchtern unterwegs und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Wohnung ist sehr liebvoll und persönlich eingerichtet, in der Küche ist auch alles zum selbst kochen. Das Bad ist recht klein (besonders für 3 Teenager-Töchter) und Tageslicht etwas begrenzt, aber wir waren die ganze Zeit unterwegs und es war traumhaft. Unsere Lieblings-Taverne: aus der kleinen Strasse rechts in die Fußgängergasse, über die 1. kleine Strasse und dann gleich die erste Terrasse auf der linken Seite - Taverna Saïta. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Pygmalion was very helpful with tips and his loft was very well situated! The appartement was big enough and located in a small pedestrian street so it was very quiet.

Amazing!!!

Amazing amazing amazing.. location can't be beat. In the heart of Plaka and the place has a lot of style, felt like a real home and not just an updated modern apartment. Close to all the restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy and stores. Pygmalion was a gracious host, gave us nice tips for our stay in the city.

Very nice place

Pygmalion’s place is truly wonderful! The best place I've stayed through HomeAway. The loft was spotless clean, greatly organized and with thoughtful extra amenities (such as the two choices of breakfast cereal). The location is great too as it is only 5mins by foot from the Acropolis and just as close to restaurants and coffee shops for your every need. Will definitely save this place for future use and recommend it to anyone who asks.

An amazing stay!

Never would I dare to guess how much of a great experience would be staying even for a while at this perfect apartment in one of the most picturesque areas in Athens! Close to almost everything a visitor might need, Plaka can definitely provide one with the comforts in a beautiful spot just minutes from the centre of the city. After having been in contact with the owner, who is a really warm, polite and respectful man, I had the opportunity to enjoy my short stay. Clean, tidy, fresh and spacious are only few words to describe this little diamond ! Nobody will regret deciding to stay there!
