Great newly renovated flat near all the sights in the Interlaken area and also central to Switzerland for all your Swiss adventures. Sleeps 6 people. This lovely apartment consists of 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, a spacious lounge with sofa bed, dining area and well equipped, modern kitchen. 1 free parking space in front of house. Lake, beach, bus stop all just 2 blocks down the street and Grocery store 2 houses down. *Note: this is a separate apartment in a private home.

Perfect accomodation to spend holidays in Swiss mountains.Clean, spacious, perfect location, 10 minutes walk from the lake and lots of things to do around to visit the region.

The property is in an ideal location, just minutes walk from Lake Brienz, for a refreshing dip after a day out. Only 4 stops on the bus from Interlaken Ost, it was easy to travel where we wanted. Liz was a great host, giving us fresh figs and pots to put compost waste in to recycle. A great 2 weeks.

The location is the best aspect of this place, close to store, bakery, bus stop and the lake. The place is comfortable and has all the amenities. Only challenge for us was bringing our luggages through 4 flights of stairs as we stayed on the top floor. We had a good workout. I will still come back and would love to stay here again.

Great Location, great house!

The house was spacious, modern and very comfortable. The location is about 10 min bus ride to the train station and 5 min walk to Lake Brienz. There's a cornershop 2 houses down so, it's convenient to pick up supplies when you need them.

Fantastic property in a great location. Very clean and spacious place. Host was great and also accommodated my request of late checkout. Will definitely recommend to others.

Great Place

It was a short walk to the bus station, there is also a bakery near the bus station that was awesome for breakfast. It took us a minute to figure out the bus schedule but once we did, it was great. The house does come with bus passes. The beds were comfortable.

Great stay

Our stay was great, the house has everything you need to spend some days. The furniture is new, everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The area is quiet, easy to park and with shops very close to get every day need goods. Great choice to stay several days ans visit Interlaken and the close valleys of Grindelwald and Lauterbrunen. Close by bus to Interlaken Ost train Station.

We love this home in Bönigen!

We loved staying in Bonigen, away from the crowd and bustle of Interlaken! Bus stop one block away - bus passes included with rental - Bus 103 Easy walk to the lake, lakeside walking trail, restaurants, and ferry Volg store close by for groceries, beer, and wine Bakery and meat store one block away We were able to do laundry for 5 euro/load. Charming historical home walking tour close by

Property was very good for us. One bedroom was bunk beds, but it worked. Bus stop was close and with Interlaken guest pass we were able to ride for free.

The house was perfect! We stayed on the 3rd floor and the location, supplies, and kindness of the owner was perfect! We traveled my husband and our two teenage daughters (16/18) and staying here in Interlaken was ideal between all the hiking, and adventures we went on! Having a grocery store just a couple doors down was super convenient! Liz was welcoming, and her homemade jam was delicious! She was great with suggestions for us when we were looking for ideas of alternatives to our original plans and I would highly recommend this VRBO! Thank you SO much for having us!

First time in Interlaken

The apartment was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Interlaken. Communication with Liz was very easy. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. Having a small grocery store and the bus stop close by were added benefits since we didn’t have a car. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

We had a fantastic time staying here! The location is great. Easy drive to Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lautabrunnen, and Thun. Very quiet neighborhood. Two doors from a small grocery store (and 8 min drive to Lidl). We stayed on the third floor and had nice views out the windows. The flat was very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking was easy and right in front. The only negative thing I can think of is that the floor was creaky and we felt like it was too easy to make noise and bother the host below us. Also there's no laundry in the flat, it's in the basement and we had to coordinate with the host to do laundry. It worked out fine, but I don't remember that being clear in the listing and just meant it wasn't as easy to do laundry as we would prefer (with 5 of us). Overall I highly recommend staying here!

Liz is a great host!

Lis is very detailed. She provides very specific notes regarding everything about the property along with the town. I asked her many questions and she was able to give great guidance. Specifically, she saved me hours figuring out the train situation. Eurrail did not show a train I had booked on the schedule. She said it was running and that I should go to the local office at the train station. Sure enough she was right. The apartment is spacious and quaint. My son and daughter particularly enjoyed the school/park behind the house. They played there most of the day with local kids. It was one of their highlights.

Two bedrooms instead three

Check in went smooth, but when we entered the apartment there were only two bedrooms instead of the three in photos and description of the advertisement. After getting in touch with Elizabeth, she told us that there is a third bedroom, but we have to pay extra for it. Because it was included according to the advertisement, we were not going to pay twice for it. After some discussion Elizabeth told us we could use it that night and we would talk about the payment the next day. Later that evening we received a message that we could get a full refund if we would leave the next morning. Because of the strange situation we decided to accept her offer and take the full refund. Until now we still haven't receive the full refund from Elizabeth. After contacting Vrbo I was told that she has to cancel the booking so we can get a full refund. In the last message she told me she didn't want to do that, because she made costs for a washing and cleaning. Not really a full refund! I do not recommend staying at the apartment of Elizabeth, I traveled a lot but never experienced this odd behaviour. It looks like she wants to make some extra money without letting Vrbo know, so be aware!

This guest was hostile and visibly intoxicated and became very hostile when I went to open a room for them. So I suggest that it would be best for everyone if they left the next day. They agreed and left. They stayed 1 night in my house and I did not receive 1 euro for it even though I still had to pay the tourist taxes and clean and wash everything again. I gave them a full refund including the cleaning fee. They did not get a refund from VRBO fees which is completely out of my control, but they got full refund from my part.

Great location away from the city - bus stop, bakery, grocery store and restaurant were all walking distance and convenient. Host was easy to communicate with and had clear instructions. Fans were provided so we were cool even in the unusual heat. Be warned that if you have big, heavy bags, you have to go up 3 flights of stairs :)

Interlaken verblijf

Het was super. Alles was heel goed geregeld. Één min punt is dat er geen wasmachine was. Voor de rest 100% tevreden.

The washing machine is available to all guests but is as listed not in the apartment due to no space. Also it is clearly indicated in the description that there is no TV, and even if there was I don’t think the Swiss TV stations would be much interest to guests.

Excellent Service!

Liz was very helpful before and during our stay in Interlaken. The property was very clean, the kitchen was amazing, the location was strategic near bus station and mini groceries store. The room was clean and right for 5-6 people staying in that house.

Beautiful chalet surrounded by mountains

This apartment was a wonderful place to stay in Interlaken, with views of the mountains all around and a swimming beach on beautiful Lake Brienz only a short walk away. The apartment is spacious and modern, with a really nice kitchen and bathroom. Transportation by bus to Interlaken Ost train station is very convenient, and there’s a nice little grocery store two doors down. There’s also an excellent restaurant only a 3-minute walk away, where we had a terrific dinner! We loved our stay and only wished we could have stayed for longer in this beautiful setting!
