Shhhh....hear that? It's the music of the river, ever changing, always soothing. Some call it a creek....Mountaintown Creek. It seems more like a river, large, swift, known as one of the premier trophy trout streams in North Georgia. Rainbow's up to 8 lbs have been caught in these waters, 2 to 4 lbs. is the norm. Starting its journey near the boundary of the Cohutta Wilderness Area and eventually joining the Coosawatee River, this stream beckon's the experienced as well as the "want to be" fly fisherman from all over the north east. After an afternoon of romancing the waters, what could be better than relaxing around a campfire, enjoying your favorite beverage with great friends or that special someone? Just a few steps above these waters sits "River Spirit" the home that shares this river with those lucky enough to find it.

The home was designed with beauty, relaxation and comfort in mind. Whether you're soaking in the hot tub or sharing fish tales on the spacious covered porch, the memories made here are sure to last a lifetime. The home is equipped with modern conveniences, so taking in a good movie, whipping up some marvelous meals or playing a game or two of pool or foosball down in the game room is always an option.. Retire to one of the luxurious king masters for a great nights rest and rise early to a steaming cup of coffee and the melody of a beautiful morning in the mountains! River Spirit is conveniently located in Ellijay, home of the famous Georgia Apple Festival and only 30 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge where unique shopping and fabulous dining await you!

This cabin is in the Coosawattee River Resort allowing guests to use the amenities of the resort during their stay at no extra charge. The rec center has an indoor olympic size heated pool that is open year round. Outdoor pools open Memorial Weekend and close Labor Day Weekend.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig/drip combo, crock pot, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-wash cloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, telephone for local calls and propane gas grill.

In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (2 rolls per bathroom), Paper Towels, (1 roll), Garbage Bags (2-3 bags) , Dishwasher Detergent (1-2 loads) Laundry Detergent (1 load), and Dish Washing Soap (mini bottle).

Many of our cabins include more that this basic list of inventory items.

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Required Fees - Cleaning, Processing & Damage Insurance, Resort Fees

15% lodging tax will be added to all reservations.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE CABIN ARE E-MAILED TO YOU 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL IF YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH YOUR GUEST LIST AND DL.

Please respond no later than 7 days prior to check in. Additional fees may apply if you choose to send in later than the 7 days.
