Margery was super helpful before and during our stay. The unit was clean, cozy and well stocked with an ideal location for skiing at Winter Park. Having a ski rental shop in the same building was a huge convenience.

Margery was great - super helpful with instructions and recommendations. Condo unit is in an ideal location just 1 floor beneath ski in/ski out. Very convenient! Easily sleeps 5 with Murphy bed in the living room.

Thanks for leaving a review - so happy you enjoyed our unit. Looking forward to you visiting again. Great place in the summer too. Prices greatly reduced and the hiking, biking, and exploring are wonderful. Would suggest a day in Grand Lake with a beautiful hike, lunch at the Grand Lake Lodge, followed by the best icecream store on the lake that I can recommend. And after a warm day hiking or biking then you can relax in the hot tubs and take a dip in the lovely outdoor pool overlooking the mountains.

This was an excellent unit. The host was very attentive and made sure all there are questions were answered. The unit is stocked with every appliance and cooking essential you’ll need. It is a true ski in and ski out, you walk down the hall inside and your bam you’re on the slope. It has a great set of hot tubs and indoor outdoor pool. This place is really top-notch.I would recommend this unit in a heartbeat for a family or a group ski trip.

Spring Break ski trip

We had a wonderful time at this property! We loved the convenience of the ski in/out and enjoyed the hot tubs each night! Margie was wonderful with communication and everything was just as it was stated in the listing! We would definitely stay here again!

Great condo great location

Great spacious condo perfect for our family ski vacation. Condo is as pictured and includes everything needed to feel like home. Best location for ski in/ski out at Winterpark…right next to the stairs and one flight below the walkway to Corridor run. Will definitely stay again when in Winterpark.

Amazing location and very well equipped

Truly ski in and ski out. Just walk outside and across a tiny bridge and you are on the ski trail. Every detail you could need was provided including local transportation and restaurants. We had a great time!

Great property and host

This condo was in a great location. It is ski in/ski out and the unit is close to the trail. Margery (the host) was wonderful. We had a great time skiing and enjoying being right on the mountain. Hope to return soon.

Ski In/ Ski Out Excellent Flat

We spent four days in this condo right on the mountain. It has plenty of space for four adults, and it has a completely well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook great lunches and dinners. Easy communication with the host helped us feel confident that if we needed anything she’d be there for us. Great stay, amazing powder (7” in a day), and a memorable trip.

Located right next to the slopes, very easy access in and out. Well-kept unit, with nice extras, like shampoo, and body lotion. Kitchen well provisioned. Nice, pool and hot tub. Great communication by host.

Perfect ski in/ski out

I brought my husband and two kids for a long ski weekend. It was perfect for us. We were able to ski out and get first tracks and then either ride the shuttle or ski back in (if your kiddos cannot ski blues, ski-in would be tricky, but the shuttle is a great alternative). The pool and hot tubs were a huge hit too. We will definitely stay here again.

Long Weekend Ski Getaway in ski in/out condo

Great location in Winter Park with easy ski in/out access! It was perfect for an extended weekend ski trip with my son and his girlfriend. We enjoyed the hot tub and steam room and the game area after skiing. The condo has the basic spices plus coffee, tea and hot chocolate, which were very welcome after skiing! Margie responded very quickly to all of my questions and provided very helpful documents on the condo and local area to make our stay very enjoyable

spring break

The condo was very nice and easily accesible to lifts and bus transportation to town or winter park. There also was convient coffee and tea available. The only item relating to our stay (not the condo itself) that was dissapointing was when we parked under the building the pipes dripped on our car and ended up making permanent marks on our window and hood - so make sure you are not under pipes in the parking garage.

Just Right!

We had a fantastic stay at this condo in the Iron Horse Resort. It was cozy and felt like home very quickly. We cooked great dinners in the kitchen and enjoyed relaxing by the fire. The extra queen bed in the wall was so easy to set-up and use, and very comfy as well. The owner was so very responsive as we planned our trip. The location was great! We skied in every day without difficulty. We liked being away from all the activity in the village but close enough we could walk there when we wanted to in the evenings. I would return! Thanks!

Great location.

Great ski in/out location right off green Corridor run which spurs off the lower part of Mary Jane trail. Owner was very responsive - quickly emailing answers to a few key questions we had before we decided to rent the unit. Condo was walkable to WP resort village, but coming home in the dark after apres or dinner will be a bit of a pain and you don’t want to do it in ski boots. While condo is dated and there’s no washer/dryer in unit, it had everything our family needed. Overall, exactly as we expected. Fantastic value for the $$$. Five stars.

Good stay, would stay again

Nice, convenient location. Ski in and ski out is hard to beat. Unit is in the perfect place. Owners were awesome. Very helpful. Property and unit are a bit outdated and needed some care from us. We had to unclog the drains in both showers, but the supplies were available. Also, the kitchen is very well stocked, but drawers were so full that a couple of them were hard to open. Also had to throw out some outdated food and move other things from cabinets so we would have room for our food. Would be nice to be able to change out the towels. Great for a large family. We would stay again, even with the negatives; friendly available owners, location and space are worth it.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay despite the few problems you encountered. We did reach out to the cleaning company and made sure that they address all the challenges you encountered such as disposing of outdated food and other. I'm surprised there were problems with the drains in the showers as we have drain covers that are supposed to be used by our guests, but perhaps a prior guest chose not to use them, so I apologize for that problem and will make sure the cleaners check that in the future while cleaning. And thank you for having an awesome handy husband who replaced the light bulb in the bathroom.

The condo was very clean. Communication with the host was excellent. There were a few glitches beginning with the code to enter the condo but was resolved quickly. Also, the property maintained 1 of the 2 hot tubs during our 5 day visit. Also the steam sauna in ladies locker room was not functioning the whole time. And as far as ski in and out. Well, if you are a beginner skier, that was not true. I was able to ski out but would have to had taken a blue run on the expert side of the mountain to get to the ski in path. The Lift shuttle is free but runs slow and only every 30 min from the condos.

Wonderful condo, fantastic host

We stayed at this condo for the purpose of mountain biking at Winter Park. The location was perfect - a 2 minute bike ride to the base of the Zephyr chair. The condo was cozy and comfortable with a beautiful view and quiet surroundings. The pool and hot tub were great! - a nice way to end the biking day. The kitchen was probably the best stocked kitchen we have ever had - a salad spinner and many cutting boards made making meals a breeze. Also there was a great selection of complimentary tea which was a very nice touch. The best thing about this condo was Margie, the host. She was easy to book with, answered all our questions, and provided much information about the condo, restaurants, and activities. Also, I had left a few things behind and Margie was kind enough to retrieve them and ship them back to me which was very much appreciated! All and all, this condo is highly recommended. We plan to come back!

Perfect ski in/ski out location!

The location of this property - in the Iron Horse Resort - could not have been better for ski-in/ski-out. In fact, not only is the resort in general a good location, but this particular condo is even at the very end basically closest to the trail (just go one flight up to get to outside trail). The condo itself is a bit dated and the lighting is not very bright. But, we are all there to ski so I put that in the "not a big deal" column. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Margie was super responsive - we had no issues during our stay, but she answered questions beforehand and even checked in while we were there. Also, there is a ski rental shop on the first floor of the condo! Super convenient. Alas, we didn't know about that when I reserved our equipment, so rented from the village which was fine, but would have been easier right at our building. All in all, absolutely loved it and highly recommend!

Nice Getaway

Had a great time during our stay in Winter Park. Location of the condo was perfect, only a stones throw away from the village. Actually stayed in the village last year and was awakened a few times during the night from noise right outside. Not here. Very quiet and has all the essentials you need to make it a pleasant stay. My only critique is the code for the common areas and access to the condo. If there is a way to make the temporary code easier to memorize would be helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We own this unit with friends. We have children and as we are growing a bit older (in body, not in spirit), we find that we tend to differ in the time we want on the slopes. This unit provides us a way to quit early and let the kids ski on, or vice versa. Plus, it wonderful to stop in for lunch and enjoy the peace and quiet, not to mention avoiding the high prices you pay for lunch at the area. We love to ski in the winter and hike in the summer. With all the kids activiites it's getting more difficult to find a time when we can use the place, so we rent it out so others can enjoy our little oasis.

We love Winter Park. I lived here many years ago. We have all been volunteer ski instructors in the NSCD (National Ski Center for the Disabled) for 15+ years. We LOVE the ski-in/ski-out in the winter and the easy walk to the base and hiking trails in the summer for great activities and hiking. There is a pool and 2 hot tubs with a gorgeous setting, which is wonderful year-round. The outdoor fire pit with amazing views is a fantastic new addition to the property.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Can't get much closer to the ski-in and ski-out from our unit. We are just steps away from the ski trail and the hiking trail. Even better is that it is a quiet end unit. When you look out the windows, you see the mountains and pine trees. You don't look at the parking lot or other condos.
