“Hameau de Cirey”, beautiful restored 19th century “maison de vigneron”, located in the heart of the Cote d’Or in Cirey-les-Nolay.
Only 1 km from Nolay, a village with its 15th century marketplace
All the prestigious wine villages, Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Santenay, Montrachet, Auxey Duresses are within a 15 minutes reach.
The beautiful and lively town Beaune is 25 minutes away.
From the house access to a large network of hiking and biking paths.
The original house built in 1845 has been just totally renovated into a very comfortable 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom gite.
With its own private access and parking space the gite totals 125 m2 (1345 sqft) with lots of open space.
On the 1st floor level access to large dining room including an open fully equipped kitchen. Separate laundry room with washer /dryer and toilet.
From the Dining room entrée to the salon with tv/dvd and free wireless Internet connection. Door to a balcony opening up splendid views.
2 bedrooms with each an en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, 2 sinks.
All rooms are heated.
In the 1500 sq meter garden is a heated pool with a large terrace.
This gite is through a large barn connected to the main house, where the owners occasionally live.
This place is ideal for couples (without children) who like the mix of an authentic Maison de Vigneron and the luxury of modern comfort.
All bedlinnen and towels are present.

Wonderful

Perfect location; close to Nolay, the crags at Cormot and many wine villages. Home from home; house well fitted out and clean. Pool was a welcome addition at the end of a hot day. Hendrik was very welcoming. Would really like to come back and would highly recommend.

Lovely gite in gorgeous area, perfect for exploring Burgundy

The gite is very high quality with everything you could need for a lovely stay. The superbly equipped kitchen was much appreciated; the morning view from the bedroom window sublime; the pool and patio area sunlit and private. The Gite location in haute Beaune was wonderful. Cirey is quiet and only 1km from Nolay. Surrounded by the vines yet in lovely rolling hills dotted with woods and pasture we walked the Bout du Monde, around a big escarpment commanding incredible views. Bike hire from Nolay with the Voie Verte in the village meant e-bike rides through the vines were magical. We were lucky that Vendange was in full swing with vignerons friendly and welcoming of visitors. In all, we had the very best of holidays in a beautiful part of France, we will be back!

Toeven tussen drie domaines

Het huis staat in een gehucht halverwege een heuvel vol met wijngaarden, op loopafstand van een pittoresk dorpje met winkels en terrasjes. Het onderkomen is heel ruimtelijk, schoon en van alles goed voorzien. De eigenaar en ook de beheerder reageerden direct en servicegericht. De tuin is groter, dan hij op de foto's lijkt. Vanwege de steile tuin, waar je doorheen moet om bij de voordeur te komen, is het niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Wij hebben hier een fijne week doorgebracht.

Ein Haus mit Geschichte

Es war eine gute Woche im Burgund. Das Haus liegt sehr schön mit toller Aussicht. Im Haus war es leider etwas muffig. Ein Schlafzimmer war im Untergeschoss ( das war aus den Fotos nicht ersichtlich) und die Wände waren etwas feucht und muffig. Wir haben unsere Kleidung nicht in den Abstellraum getan wegen des Geruchs. Nach ein paar Tagen heizen wurde es besser. Ansonsten war es sehr schön.

Gîte in Burgund

Wir haben ein gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus vorgefunden, gelegen auf einem grossen, gepflegten Grundstück. Es gab einen sauberen, beheizten Pool und eine schöne Aussenterasse. Das Haus ist originell und komfortabel möbliert. Der Eigentümer kümmerte sich intensiv und schnell, wenn es Fragen gab.

Zeer mooi en modern vakantiehuis

Modern huis met goede bedden en een heerlijk zwembad. Super keuken, koele slaapkamers met veel ruimte en beide een mooie ruime badkamer met alle voorzieningen. Top!

Super séjour au calme

Une beau bâtiment adjacent à la maison des propriétaires qui a été complètement refait pour accueillir des vacanciers. Il y a de beaux volumes et deux chambres bien isolées l'une de l'autre. La maison reste fraîche même par très beau temps. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et échangent tout en restant discrets.

Belle demeure restaurée

Gîte très complet. La température de la piscine était exceptionnelle (28-30°C, c'est excessivement rare). Belle situation à deux pas des vignes. Seule bémole, la photo de l'annonce correspond à l'habitat du propriétaire et non du gîte en location.

The recently renovated Hameau de Cirey has a nice and modern decoration which blend well with the charming stonecottage. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They provided us with good tips for activities in the surrounding. Nolay and it‘s environment offer lots of possibilities for short and lonk walks, cycling, cultural events, vine tastings, canal boat trips and of course nice restaurants (try Silvie‘s teahouse at the market place for lunch or teatime!). We loved the well maintained pool in the big garden with a lot of fruit trees and the Weber gas BBQ. Our three weeks in Hameau de Cirey passed so very fast so we will come back soon!

Lovely gite, very well finished and equiped.

The interior of the property is very attractive and finished to a high standard. Although one bedroom is immediately below the other, the sound insulation is excellent. With both bedrooms having an ensuite bathroom, this is an ideal location for two couples. The sitting room is very tranquil and good to relax in. The kitchen is well appointed and spacious with good quality equipment. Outside there is plenty of space and the swimming pool is very welcome in hot weather. We enjoyed being able to walk down to Nolay where there are more than sufficient shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. There are other local walks in attractive countryside right on the doorstep. Not far away is a wealth of interesting towns, villages, scenery and of course wine and food. Hendrik was very welcoming, helpful and interesting to talk to. We have a few suggestions for minor improvements. One of the chairs in the sitting-room is a little upright and not good for relaxing in for long! The kitchen would benefit from additional cuttlery and crockery - we found we were having to use the dishwasher when it was only half full. Finally access to the outdoor seating area and to the swimming pool could be improved - maybe some proper steps are needed. These are not meant as adverse criticism - we had a thoroughly excellent holiday and would happily recommend it as a high quality Gite in which to stay.

Amazing

We stayed with my parents at this amazing 5 star gite the website does not do it justice. We could not fault it it at all the house itself was beautifully presented and contained everything you would need. The pool and patio area complete with gas BBQ again finished to a very high standard we could not fault it. The owners were staying next door and provide advice and help if required and we found them warm and welcoming. There were a couple of restaurants in the village that were walkable about 1km as on a hill my parents in their 70s unable to manage but we did and also butcher bakers and supermarket, with many lovely restuarnts within a 10=15 min drive. I would definately recommend this gite and would love to stay again in one word amazing.
