This is such a lovely home with all amenities for you to prepare meals, or sit by the fireplace and enjoy a cozy evening, playing games, or enjoy the beautiful surrounding area. Very clean home and the hostess was amazing. She had great suggestions for our meals out and local activities that kept us busy for a few days. We will definitely return for our next trip to Scotland.

A home away from home! Everything absolutely perfect, cosy, clean, spacious and wonderful located in a lush garden. Everything you could wish for.

Kintaline House is one of the best places we've stayed over the years. It's out of the way and quiet but still close to interesting things to see. The furnishings are practical and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the resources provided by Jill are incredibly helpful for when you're not sure what to do with your vacation.

This was a great place to stay. Jill came over and greeted us when we arrived. The property was clean, and peaceful. It was perfect! The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer!

Lovely spacious house with everything you could possibly need- including a friendly cat you could invite in if you choose to. The location is convenient to Oban, but you may not want to leave the house! This one was a family favorite.The house can be challenging if you have mobility concerns- the bath tub walls are tall for showering, and there are some raised doorway thresholds.

Kintaline House

Great location, very quiet setting, close to beach. Very convenient for day trips to various Highland locations. Very comfortable house for families and friends.

Great house, comfortable and well equipped and in a fabulous location. Our hostess communicated accurately and in a timely fashion and was most helpful to us. My friends and I loved this property. We definitely plan to return.

First class property in a wonderful location about 7 miles from Oban centre. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Jill was there to meet us upon arrival and did everything possible to ensure our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. From the property there is a short walk to a long sandy picturesque beach....a hidden gem! Would fully recommend this property to anyone.

Loved this stay. Not far from Oban and not far from Glencoe area which I loved. Jill was very detailed and provided everything a guest could need. The place is quiet, sexy, and secluded. I can’t say the same for our next stop… Jill is a top notch host who obviously takes pride in her facility and what she provides.Jill you keep rocking it. We will be back!!

Fantastic holiday

Our stay at Kintaline house exceeded all our hopes. The house is excellent and very well equipped. It also has a lovely garden that we enjoyed. Our host Jill was very helpful and answered any questions we had throughout our stay. The location is perfect - close to a sandy beach, islands, mountains and also to Oban. We would strongly recommend Kintaline to anyone looking for a good holiday in a peaceful location close to all that the Scottish west coast has to offer.

This property has crossed every T and dotted every I and then some. We arrived to a lovely fire in the fire box which added to the coziness of the beautifully appointed living area. The sunroom provided plenty of seating to watch the numerous birds that came by or just to cozy up with a book from the extensive library. Beds were comfortable and the shower was better than any hotel we’ve ever stayed. Kitchen provided everything we needed. I’ve never had so many spices and condiments available for our cooking use, this was beyond my expectations. Jill was the most hospitable host and researches events happening all throughout the Oban area. She’s an absolute lovely lady and we’d love to return one day and spend more time exploring this beautiful part of Scotland.

Exceeded expectations! Host had excellent communication throughout and met us at the property upon arrival to show us around and answer any questions. Lovely treats awaited us on the kitchen table, and an abundance of information about the surrounding area and things to do was provided. The house was beautiful and spotless, beds were comfortable, and it was the most well-appointed house I've ever stayed in. It had everything you could need or want, much more like a home than a rental. We will miss Kintaline House and the people and land of Scotland!

Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful country home. Jill met us upon arrival and welcomed us. We thoroughly enjoyed our welcome goodies and fresh eggs. The house was clean and we made good use of the sun room. Very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

This house and it's host/owner are amazing! I honestly cannot say enough about our stay here except that it wasn't nearly long enough! You know a place is special when you can't wait to get back to the house to relax as a family and enjoy the quiet, nature surrounding it! Jill has thought of literally everything, providing an iPad of Information, tourist locations, events in the area, etc. The calendar hanging in the kitchen has daily events listed. There are notebooks filled with information on restaurants, historical locations, etc. The house is beautiful and has everything you need, including a hairdryer. The kitchen is well equipped. Location is perfect! Just a short drive south to Oban or north to the Fort William/Glencoe areas. Isle of Skye is just 2.5 hours away, so a good location if you want a day trip north. Communication with Jill is easy, quick, and reliable. And there is a beautiful, friendly cat named Freya that is so friendly and sweet! We will definitely be back in the future! So glad we had the opportunity to experience this wonderful home and to meet Jill!

Erholung pur

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt idyllisch ruhig. Der Weg zum Meer ist wirklich nur ein kurzer Spaziergang. Es liegt ideal für tolle Ausflüge. Wir waren 3 Wochen hier und hatten keinen einzigen Tag Langeweile. Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich und erfüllt jeden Wunsch sofort. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen!

Kleines Garten-Paradies und schönes gemütliches Haus an einem wunderbaren Ort

Das Kintaline Haus hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Gemütlichkeit, die schöne Einrichtung, die Grösse der Zimmer und auch die Lage in Benderloch haben uns sehr positiv überrascht. Der Garten ist zu einem kleinen Paradies gestaltet. Der Wintergarten ist darin eingebettet und es gibt immer wieder Neues zu entdecken. Die Gastgeberin Jill hat alles sehr gut vorbereitet für Gäste, auch Ideen für Ausflüge und Vorschläge für Besichtigungen. Unsere Fragen hat sie gerne beantwortet. An- und Abreise waren unkompliziert. Wir empfehlen den wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Kintaline Haus gerne weiter.
