The owners modernized the home with new appliances and updated bathrooms and added a large deck which overlooks the expansive park-like grounds, perfect for strolling or dog walking. The four bedroom, two bath house features a great room with kitchen and dining area, hardwood floors, laundry room and carport. Two outbuildings from 1948 retain the old farm feel of this property originally owned by the late Woodrow and Frances Smith and their sons. High speed internet and streaming TV in the great room provide the opportunity to watch Netflix or any national network channel from comfortable sofas. Close to a Harris Teeter supermarket and many restaurants, the house is exceptionally quiet, even with the occasional soothing sounds of a passing train. During warm months, the owners have a self-service flower stand out front which sometimes features fresh vegetables. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
