Three Birds Cottage-Level Skaneateles Lake

This property is hosted by Skaneateles Cottages PM LLC which requires a signed lease with all bookings. Reach out if you are in need of additional property options if your dates are unavailable. We may be able to assist.

Three Birds Cottage is a level waterfront property with a 10-12 steps to the main dock and is ideally located four miles from the Village of Skaneateles on the east side of the lake. The sunsets are spectacular. It is ideal for 4 adults and 3-4 children. The bed configurations consist of two queen beds, a set of bunks, and two trundles (one is in a queen room and the other in the bunk room). The property has 3bd/1bd, a deck, dock, patio, gas fireplace, central air, grill and kayaks. We provide all linens and beach towels as well. Let us host your visit to the Finger Lakes at one of the best village/lake offerings in the region.

We require a lease to be signed, rules followed and quality guests that are good neighbors, respectful, and mindful people.

The house was great, the dock was awesome. The host checked on us the next day after we had settled to make sure everything was going great. Really close to town and other places. Definitely recommend this place to anyone

Great spot on the lake! Enjoyed our fall outing! Brian is a great host answering all our questions quickly.The house is well equipped with anything you need. The outdoor space is also great with plenty of seating in different spots around the yard.Would highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful place to stay!

This property is perfect for a family getaway. It’s in a great location with a nice view of the lake and lake access and has everything there to make you feel at home. And Brian couldn’t have been more attentive and accommodating- we had a wonderful time and will be back!

Wonderful place to stay. Brian was an excellent host.

The cottage sits right on the lake and there are two kayaks to use for exploring the waters. Inside the house offers comfortable beds and chairs for reading and a well appointed kitchen.

Perfect stay

Very welcoming and accommodating host! Cozy cabin with beautiful lake property and private access to the lake. Location is also less than 10 min drive from the picturesque town of Skaneateles. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing weekend

This was a great place to spend a relaxing fall weekend with our daughter on her fall break from college. Very peaceful and a great location. Would love to visit when it is warmer to take full advantage of the lake!

Great trip

The property is perfect for families with toddlers/young kids and I’m sure would be fine for teens too. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and the space felt just right but I would not have more than that. Everything was clean, nice deck and yard space for games. The lake is so beautiful and this place had great options to enjoy it!

Wonderful Relaxing Getaway

A great lakefront location with terrific views. Though the water was still too cold (in May) to go into the lake, we thoroughly enjoyed the serenity of the lake views with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee on the deck near the shore.

Fabulous lake house

We loved our weekend on Skaneateles Lake at the 3 Birds Cottage. The location was perfect for easy trips into town and the property itself was just lovely overlooking the lake. We made use of the wood fire pit and there are ample chairs to use around the fire. We also enjoyed the indoor fireplace which kept the cottage cozy.

Shannon and Brian Routhouska. We are high school sweethearts who grew-up in Skaneateles and Auburn. We currently live in Pittsford NY with our 3 children and have purchased Three Birds Cottage to give our children the lake memories we grew-up with.

We love Three Birds Cottage because it is a simple cottage, easy to maintain on the sunset side of the lake. It is easy access right off of East Lake Rd and can be accessed all season. There is no cliff, unlike many properties on the Finger Lakes, so we have safe and easy access to the water. We have a nice location and can quickly get to the village by car or boat.
