In the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the stunning views over the beach at Ventnor Bay. The apartment faces south on a quiet private road, with its own parking, overlooking the beach and 5 mins walk to town.

The apartment is situated in the victorian coastal town of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. Famous for its mild Mediterranean style microclimate it has the highest number of sunshine hours in the UK.

With family friendly beach, lined with pretty victorian beach huts and fantastic coastal scenery, it is perfect for families or couples and often attracts walkers, writers and artists who come in search of unspoilt views. Its quirky mix of small vintage shops and many popular restaurants offer something for everyone. Some of our apartments are also dog friendly.

The 2nd floor apartment has its own parking and independent access and has 1 family bedroom (double & bunks), bathroom, separate lounge (with pull down double bed) and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has fantastic sea views from both the lounge and bedroom, perfect for lying in bed and listening to the waves!

The apartment is decorated with a coastal theme and has broadband wi-fi, smart television, a dvd player and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. Crisp white bed linen and towels are also provided.

We have a laundry room, offer a selection of games, books and DVDs and there is also a small garden for guests to use.

Please note Ventnor is hilly and there are steps to all apartments so it is not suitable for those with mobility problems.

This is a lovely apartment with sea views, we had a wonderful week there. It has a good layout, is warm, comfortable , spotlessly clean and superbly equipped . Dawn our host was extremely helpful throughout the whole process from booking onwards..We stayed in Driftwood. This is on the 2nd floor. If you have mobility issues or are not good with stairs, choose one of the lower apartments..A great place to stay in Ventnor, highly recommended..

We had a wonderfully convenient and relaxing stay with salty holidays. You have the best view and are moments from the beach, restaurants and a couple of pubs. The high street is just a couple of minutes walk away too. Parking is a little tight but doable. The apartment was well furnished with everything you need and the basics all covered. The collection of games and books to borrow was a real favourite of our sons. We’d love to come back and stay again

We had a really lovely stay at the apartment. The bedroom and living room have big windows looking over to the sea. We listened to the waves when we went to sleep at night. Although it is within walking distance of Ventnor town we ate at the sea front restaurants and bars each night which were less than 2 minutes walk away, as was the beach.It is a great location.

The Place Was clean and well equipped. The View was eccellent over The Beach toThe sea. Great to have use Of The Washing machine and driver. The Host Dawn responded to any queries. We were aware Of The steepness Of The area and access to the property. This is a definite consideration. We would return in future. A great find !

Salty HolidaysWe stayed in Driftwood. We had lovely seaviews from the living room and bedroom.The apartment was clean and well equipped. We also had access to the laundry room. No need to take DVDs or board games. A large selection is available to choose from.The beach is less than 5 minutes walk away. The shops are less than 10mins away. Be prepared to walk up and down hill!There is a great choice of good bars and restaurants nearby.We had a relaxing week and would happily return.

Perfect location, great views, peaceful. Easy check in and clean apartment. Lovely to wake up and sit in bed watching the sea and sunrise. Own little path down to the beach, bars, chip shop, restaurants etc! Only 15 mins from Shanklin chine, wildheart sanctuary etc. would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay in Ventnor! The apartment was easy to find, impeccably clean, and wonderfully spacious. With stunning views and a perfect location, it exceeded our expectations. I’ll definitely be booking here again!

amazing property

We stayed at salty holidays for 3 nights. The property was everything we expected, clean, well equipped with lovely views. Lots of lovely walking around the area and a lovely beach to enjoy to.

This is a beautiful apartment with amazing views over Ventnor beach - the location was perfect. We had such a lovely weekend and would definitely stay there again! The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, and Dawn was really quick and helpful on all communication. We loved the thoughtful touches like the DVD and book library in the hallway. Highly recommend!

An oasis of calm.

Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the sea was nostalgic and calming. The property was welcoming, clean and tastefully furnished. We felt safe, and had all we needed. Tea and Cadbury’s chocolate fingers were so lovely on arrival. Would love to return one day.

Ideal place for a relaxing holiday

Friendly and helpful landlady. Well equipped apartment with an amazing view of the sea. One minute's walk to the beach. We enjoyed it very much and can highly recommend staying here.

What a lovely retreat by the sea. Apartment was very clean and had all the kitchen equipment (pots, pans, potholders, utensils, etc) needed to prepare basic meals. We found the apartment to be very restful and enjoyed waking to the sound of waves on the shore. The laundry room with washer and tumbler was much appreciated. Lots of great restaurants in area and bus service was stellar.

We loved the apartment. It was perfect for the two of us and the dogs. The seaview from the lounge was great. The kitchen was was well equiped and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property for a stay on IoW.

A lovely Holiday

We were both very pleased with the property and the communications with the owner. They made us feel very welcome and are clearly enthusiastic about creating a great environment for their guests. We would happily re visit in the future- hopefully not too distant.

Great stay

Lovely apartment with panoramic views of the sea. Location was fantastic, just a few steps from the beach. Lots of nice restaurants and tea shops in Shanklin nearby. The apartment had everything we needed an was clean and bright. As there were quite a few steps leading up to the apartment it would be unsuitable for someone with mobility issues.

Lovely property. Amazing views.

Just on our way home following a 2 night stay. Would highly recommend. We had a few last minutes changes which were dealt with. Nothing was too much hassle.

Lovely location, excellent views. Had to get used to all the steps, but did not spoil the holiday. All i would say is the apartment could do with a lick of paint. Would not hesitate to stay again. Bonus was able to take the dogs. Thanks for a lovely time.

Stunning Flat

A really lovely flat . Spotlessly clean . Both double beds really comfortable. Ingenious pull down double bed in lounge. Very large rooms with stunning views . You do need to be able to walk well as a lot of steps and a steep hill but would definitely come back if Dawn would have us !!

We think Salty Holidays in the best location in Ventnor with our fantastic beach so close, but it's also walking distance to some fantastic restaurants, cafes and all the lovely little independent shops in Ventnor.

My best bits are:
- Lying in bed listening to the waves
- Watching the wall lizards basking in the sun on the garden wall
- Walking along the coastal path on a windy day
- Playing cricket or rounders on the beach at the end of the day
- Finding treasures in rockpools and building sandcastles
- Not needing to go out anywhere, because you already have the best view in town!
