Comfy and relaxing cottage

The home was very well decorated. It had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. A beautiful place to relax in comfort on our vacation.

Twin Oaks 36

We have been doing a family trip to Wild Dunes annually for the last 13 consecutive years and like the Twin Oaks area. The house was nicely updated and located conveniently to many interests. A few issues we encountered were a leaking roof and ants throughout the house. I rated this review a little lower due to not only the issues but when we brought these up to the rental company there was no offer to assist or attempt to correct. The other important thing to note is this rental does not include access to any of the properties pools. They don’t market this but it’s also not clearly spelled out either. All and all we liked the location but likely will not stay here again due to the challenges.

Great Property in Wild Dunes

I’m told they call the homes in this area “Tree Houses”. The home was perfect, clean, spacious and had everything you can need. It was such a short walk to the beach once you find the short cut. Wild Dunes is a great area with the resort literally across the street. The only suggestion would be to have an outlet In the garage bay for the LSV golf cart. Maybe it’s there somewhere but couldn’t locate it. Will rent this property again.

Awesome!

We absolutely loved our stay! It is close to the main pavilion area of Wild Dunes. We had two kids under 4 with us so we used the golf cart, but you can walk to the beach. The kitchen and linens are very well stocked and plenty of storage space for your things throughout the house. We would definitely use this house again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Wild Dunes!

Nice property, beware fees

The property was nice and as advertised. We were very familiar with the neighborhood. Beware of the additional fees beyond the nightly rental cost as advertised. Essentially doubles the cost.

This condo was easily one of the favorite places that my family has rented. It was clean, it smelled like a home and not chemicals, it was beautifully decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable, had a variety of kitchen items, and plenty of space for games and hanging out. It was close to the beach and a grocery store. My son loved the bell by the front door and having his own room.. I loved the galley kitchen and the large dining table. My daughter loved the back porch dining area. My husband claimed the sofa in the sun room. Thanks for helping out stay in Charleston to be so memorable.

Wonderful property

Very comfortable. Clean. Decorated well. Close ride to beach. We rented golf cart, bikes and surf boards. Wonderful week, can’t wait to do it again. Floor beautiful but uncomfortable on your feet.

The property was in great shape inside the house. Very nicely remodeled and clean.

Able to book the property on short notice and really appreciated this. As stated above the inside of the property was very nicely remodeled and maintained. Very convenient also to all of the key things to do at Wild Dunes (e.g, facilities, pools, beach). However, there is a review on this site for this property that states there is a "sports card pass for Wild Dunes pool and fitness center access." This was found to not be true after already booking. This was a nuisance as we had to walk around the Wild Dunes property to access the beach and did not have access to their amenities. We loved this property but unless this was addressed in the future, we would likely not book here. The owner or someone needs to correct this on the site reviews or get the sports card so future renters don't have this hassle. In addition, we found that there is another room downstairs that we were not made aware of that is locked. We believe it was empty during our stay but it would have been preferred for the property manager or owner to notify us of this as we were concerned someone may be staying there thru our stay.

Perfect place for a family beach vacation, very clean and the interior is exactly as pictured

Our family (4 adults and 2 children) stayed at the Twin Oaks at Wild Dunes at the end of June. The property is fantastic with new interior and very clean. The set up was perfect for the 6 of us with the master on one side of the house and the other two bedrooms on the other. The sports card allows you to take advantage of the many amenities Wild Dunes has to offer including pools. It is a short 10 minute walk to the beach. We can definitely recommend the property and will hopefully be back soon.
