Very comfortable apartment. Very narrow street, but a parking garage across the street. We did not have a vehicle and used taxi and Ubers to get around. Kitchen and living area was spacious and the apartment slept 6 comfortably. Good amenities, grocery store within walking. Host was very accessible through Vrbo messaging.Check in was good. Very good stay.

The pictures are accurate, it is a nicely remodeled place with three large bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Great location.

The kitchen was not well equipped. The cabinets were dirty as were the chairs and sofas. The tables had not been cleaned. The lamps in the bedrooms were missing light bulbs. The wardrobe in the largest rooms had no where to hang clothes in the wardrobes. The bathrooms need upgrading.

One of the showers was non-functional and attempts to get it fixed failed. That meant 7 people were using one shower. They obviously don’t have a checklist for cleaning staff to ensure everything is working. There were no dish towels or even paper towels to wipe the counters. There was only one garbage can in the entire suite.

The location is not in the best part of Marylebone. Having to wait outside the door waiting for someone to meet you is not ideal. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned better (mildew stains). There was not enough glasses / wine glasses for the amount of accommodations.

The check-in process was terrible. They only give you one key. We had five people in our party that wanted to do different things. They suggest suggested that we keep the key in a box outside of the room and security came and took the key so we couldn’t get in the room so we had to wait outside for somebody to let us in unclear on which apartment we were in !! Some of the appliances didn’t work well nobody went over the apartment with us like they said they would so we had to figure everything out on our own communication with them was just so so I would definitely not recommend this apartment. It is not worth the money go to another place.

Very nice apartment but penthouse may be a bit misleading. Our main issues was that the street is not a great street. There were some intimidating characters hanging right outside the front door. We had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to meet us and let us in even thought I gave multiple updates about our arrival time. This is the top floor of a 4 story apartment building but now quite as prestigious as the word "penthouse" insinuates. The pictures make it look much better, many floor tiles were cracked, there were tons of cords hanging from the tv, the countertops were damaged and had a lot of caulking, etc. Overall we were comfortable though, especially because the air conditioning worked well and it was a hot week in London.

The property is nice, it was very clean and very nicely presented. If I was picky I would say the shower seals could be bleached / replaced as there was some mould on them. The AC was great for a warm night, however, one bedroom's air-con needs servicing as it had a damp-ish smell but in fairness we just turned that one off and there was AC throughout the property which made the place very comfortable. I followed the check-in instructions, this was relatively straightforward, I called half hour before, however, when I got there I waited a little while before calling again as I was told the staff member would be waiting for me. Maybe this could have been clearer. Anyway when I called again they came straight away. Altogether I think the apartment offered good value for money for our needs. It is right next to the Bakerloo line and a short walk to the other Edgware road station and was easily walkable from Paddington too.I would recommend to other guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely penthouse. It was convenient to the Underground, buses, market, and walking distance to many tours we had booked.

disappointed

Confusion to 'check-in' number provided just goes through to answer machine, eventually some random man outside asked for my name and said he had keys and then wanted photo ID (which I wasn't told I'd need). Apartment was fairly dirty, there was NO hot water for the duration and no bulbs in bedside lamps. Came back to a pigeon in main bathroom, despite closing windows to spike height - took a fair while to get it out. Overall not an enjoyable or smooth, hassle free stay.

Great Home Base

The manager replied to and accommodated our special requests. Excellent communication. The apartment was exactly as expected. The close proximity to King's Cross made getting around London fairly easy. We would stay here again.

Excellent apartment in great location

Thank you to the host. We left some items in the apartment and they kindly retrieved the items and posted them to us safe and sound. Very appreciated!! Enjoyed our stay in the apartment which was in easy access to all the London attractions via the tube.

Beautiful apartment and great location

Great apartment, very clean and comfortable. There were some communication issues over payment but they were resolved and the property host met us on the day and was very helpful. We would definitely consider staying again. Just one issue which would be great if it could be resolved: the lift which terminates inside the flat is quite audible when other residents are using it.

Well located, underground station just around the corner.

The flat is large and spacious. Apart from a few minor issues, the flat was clean. Some facilities are slightly faulty. However, as we only slept in the flat, this didn't bother us. Overall, the flat is recommendable.

Nice flat

Overall, it was great and matches the add. It was a bit crowded for 8, but would be ideal for 6 or fewer. Also, the lift (elevator) doesn't currently provide private access to the flat as the button was disabled for security. The button needs to be replaced with a key lock engagement to enable secure access.

Penthouse apartment in Marylebone

Property was bright, spacious and recently renovated. However, it was described as a “penthouse” but while it was on the top floor of the building, it was far from it. The listing promised direct elevator access to the unit, but most times we had to walk the final flight. Management failed to inform us of the building access code upon check-in, resulting in anxious moments when we found ourselves locked out. Management refused to provide more than one key for our group of 5 adults, or more than one bed pillow per person. Kitchen supplies were lacking and one bedroom didn’t have a fully functioning air conditioner.

Fun Stay

Overall, we had a good time and were not in the apartment other than to sleep. That being said we enjoyed our stay and the location. My review is not meant to suggest not to stay at this location it's meant to provide additional details that may influence your decision. First and foremost, the apartment was clean, and everything seemed to function as promised. We liked that it was close to a tube line and bus stop. There are a lot of food options in walking distance. There are two key aspects of this apartment that you need to know about. One and most annoying is the elevator noise late at night. I know this was mentioned in previous reviews but this elevator should be turned off after 11 PM or something like that. The noise is brutal, and if you are sleeping in the adjacent bedroom, it will be a problem. Second, one room does not have AC and can be a bit warm. Opening the window is an option, but then the street noise may be a challenge. WE overcame these issues and really enjoyed the stay. Be aware that the neighborhood is a bit multicultural. Beds could use an update but overall we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Property was wonderful, clean, kitchen was nice. We slept great and didn’t hear outside noises. Very comfortable apartment. Perfect for our family of 6. Host easy to communicate with. Close to train and walking distance to many places. Loved being able to do our laundry. Only negative was that we were left with 8 bath towels and one hand towel. They don’t supply wash cloths. Not a huge deal but I like having more access to clean towels.

We were disappointed with this property on many levels. The check in procedure was awkward and inadequate, the apartment was not as pictured, and in need of a deep cleaning. A bathroom sink did not drain and something questionable was on the toilet. The elevator stopped at the 4th floor of the fifth floor apartment to require climbing another set of stairs, and an elevator inside the apartment left questions of security. The AC did not seem to be working; the windows were open when we arrived and the unit did not respond when we turned it on. We chose not complete our two night stay and instead left the keys on the table and took a hotel room. The surrounding neighborhood did not appear safe and an arrest was taking place while we waited for an Uber to take us to a hotel. We did not immediately contact the owner that we were leaving and instead continued our vacation. This was a huge mistake, but we knew the owner would not be able to resolve the issues we faced and chose to wait to complain. We did not receive compensation for our loss and were basically told to have a nice day. Please read reviews carefully, looking for recent reviews and also looking off VRBO for deeper dive reviews to avoid going what our family went through.

The apartment itself was fine. Not as clean as expected. The kitchen needs restocking with a new coffee pot and kitchen dish clothes and towels. We bought our own towels, garbage bags and toilet paper.
