Lovely second stay

The friendliness of the owner. It was modern, spacious, quiet with super fast WiFi. It was a good base to explore all directions/attractions.

Highly recommend for a wonderful family stay at Derryleigh!

Our family of 6, with kids ranging from 4 to 24, had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Derryleigh House. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together, or to take some quiet time apart. The kitchen is very well-appointed for meals in the two sitting rooms are comfortable and the large laundry space was an added bonus. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and there were plenty of towels. The location worked well for us, near family we were visiting and also convenient departure point for day trips around the southwest. We made full use of the large garden for evening soccer matches and enjoyed the Boherbue Looped Walk several mornings. Though in a very quiet setting, the house is a short walk or drive into town for the shop, bakery, and local pub. I would highly recommend for a larger family or two small families traveling together.

A wonderful stay!

We had such a lovely stay here. The house is in a peaceful area, which made it the perfect place to relax and unwind and not worry about her energetic children. There’s a beautiful walk nearby that we really enjoyed, and it was so convenient to be within walking distance of both a great restaurant and a grocery store. The house itself was lovely — comfortable, welcoming, and very well kept. The host was also incredibly kind and helpful, which made the experience even better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with great local amenities nearby. Thank you! Becky and Ant Nothing, really! It was great!

Derryleigh House Boherbue

We had the most comfortable stay in this beautiful house in Boherbue. Suited our needs completely. The host Dennis was very welcoming and informative. Good facilities locally and a good spot for touring Cork and Kerry. Would highly recommend. A television in the sun room would be an added bonus

Fantastic . warm . Relaxing

Beautiful home , warm comfortable and relaxing after a day of working. And. Touring . Would absolutely stay again. On my return trips and would highly recommend Derryleigh house to other travellers. The internet signal was challenging but not detrimental. Not really sure if this could be improved.

Home from Home

Really loved our stay at Derryleigh, the hse is equipped with everything you could need. Comfortable beds & linen, lots of outside space & loads of entertaining space. It really is a home from home. The owner was very prompt, helpful & friendly. We look forward to a return visit!

Delightful Derryleigh

This house was immaculate, with everything you could possibly need. Dennis was delightful, too, and quick to respond to communications. Super quiet and peaceful area. Absorbent bath mat or mats in the downstairs shower would’ve been nice. There is nothing else I can think of because I cannot wait to return for another stay!
