Why should you rent out our house in Italy? This centrally located and enjoyable holiday house offers plenty of possibilities for discovering the amazing Umbria and Tuscany regions. Furthermore, the house is modern, spacious, comfortable, and family-oriented. It provides all comfort. The accommodation is perfectly suitable for a family with children, but it could as well be a luxurious environment for befriended couples. Thanks to the fenced garden and the swimming pool, you enjoy all space needed. Also for the children, it is a perfect place for having fun. The house is a short distance away from Lake Trasimeno, where all kinds of activities are available, such as: swimming, sailing, or boat trips to one of the small islands. The surrounding villages offer all kinds of social and cultural activities, such as Sagras (eating and drinking together) and music festivals: the Perugia Jazz Festival or the Trasimeno Blues Festival, for example. In the neighbouring town of Panicale you can go watch several theatre performances, for watching a film you can go to Castiglone. Furthermore, you could visit one of the many wonderful villages around the lake. Every one of them is a cultural highlight.
All of this, while the rural character and the surroundings provide many possibilities for relaxing and contemplating the wonderful landscape. From Eindhoven and Weeze, you can fly to Pisa, Bologna, and Rome. From Amsterdam, you can fly to Florence and Perugia, and as from 1 July 2014, a connection between Weeze and Perugia is available. Cities such as Siena, Arezzo, Orvieto, Perugia, and Assisi are just a short distance away. Florence is also easy to reach. True gems such as Panicale, Montepulciano, Castiglione del Lago, Cortona, Montefalco, and Spello are just a stone's throw away. If wanted, we can get you in touch with a local (English speaking) Italian cook who can organise a cooking workshop; either at home or on another location.

Ruim huis met geweldige tuin en groot zwembad

We hebben genoten van het huis en vooral van de mooie ruime tuin en het grote zwembad. Er waren verschillende leuke terrassen met schaduw, parasols, hangmatten, zonnebedden enz. De keuken was van alle gemakken voorzien. We werden gastvrij ontvangen en wegwijs gemaakt in het huis. Jammer was wel dat er dit jaar veel muggen waren. Al met al hebben we een heerlijke week gehad in een schiterende rustige ongeving.

Heerlijke vakantie in een comfortabele omgeving

Wij hebben met onze drie kinderen genoten van twee ontspannen weken vol al het moois (en lekkers) dat deze regio van Italië te bieden heeft. Het huis is prachtig en van vele gemakken voorzien, en de tuin met zwembad was heerlijk. Wanneer nodig stonden house manager Chris en Patrizio voor ons klaar. In de omgeving vielen vooral de nabijgelegen kleine stadjes in de smaak (Paciano, Panicale) maar ook de iets grotere die goed aan te rijden zijn (Castiglione, Perugia, Montepulciano). We hebben gekookt samen met lokale chef Tonino - een goede chef, al was hij inmiddels wel duidelijk ouder en langzamer - we hopen dat hij veilig is thuisgekomen... Als er buiten de muggen en wespen iets is aan te merken, dan is het dat helaas de lokale winkel / bakker in Casalini in tegenstelling tot onze verwachting gesloten bleek. Jammer, want daarmee is vers brood een stukje rijden. Dat mocht verder de pret niet drukken: wij hebben genoten van twee heerlijke weken in Umbria!

Great family villa with a beautiful pool and outdoor area

We stayed here with family whilst visiting the area for a wedding. The villa is located in a beautifully quiet location at the top of a hill in the village of Casalini. Loads of space inside and with all of the facilities you could ask for. A lovely big kitchen for cooking and entertaining the fam. All bedrooms were soaciously sized and had comfortable beds and all have a bathroom close to them. We had the downstairs bedrooms which are fine although the smaller bedroom towards the rear of the villa smelt slightly damp. Overall the inside of the villa is great and you have everything you could need but it isn't slightly dated and some of the windows and shutters are a pain to open. Outside the villa has a driveway with gates to secure vehicles at night although it is only precautionary. The rest of the property has two outdoor tables for eating and entertaining. The pool is large and free form unlike most villas which had the usual boring rectangular shaped pools, this one is beautiful and has built in steps for easy access. Although it wasn't heated we were fine with the pool temperature in late May but were told that it heats up a lot beteeen July/August. The outdoor area is well maintained and the gardens are well kept. Only a few steps beteeen the patio and the pool area with a gate to keep children out when you no longer want to be in the pool and to keep them safe. The villa also had a garage to the side which has loads of extra sun beds, parasols, BBQ equipment and the all important beer fridge to keep all those peroni's cool for those hot days around the pool. Would definetly rate this villa highly and for the price. Location wise it's easy enough to get to but far enough away from any major roads or towns to give you that typical secluded and lazy Italian living feeling. Professionally managed by Chris and he was more than helpful with any issues or questions we had during our stay.

Mooie woning met dito zwembad

Samen met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen (9 personen) genoten van een fantastische vakantie in dit goed onderhouden vakantiehuis. Goed uitgerust en van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtige tuin, prachtig zwembad en mooie omgeving. Veel wandel mogelijkheden in de buurt. Heel goede restaurantjes in onder andere Panicale en mooie steden als Perugia en Orvieto op korte afstand. Al met al een zeer aanbevelingswaardige vakantiebestemming. Familie Belgers.

Ideale plek en prima uitvalsbasis

Mooi schoon huis in mooie omgeving.Heerlijk zwembad en mooie tuin. Ook ideaal voor uitstapjes naar Siena of Florence. Leuke dorpjes in de omgeving zoals Panicale. Ideaal voor grote gezelschappen maar voor ons tweetjes ook prima!Hopen zeker hier terug te komen!

Zeer geslaagd verblijf

uitstekend

Met groep vrienden geweest om te wandelen, en dat is goed gelukt, de omgeving is prachtig met nog genoeg wilde natuur, maar ook bewegwijzerde wandelroutes. En natuurlijk zeer schilderachtige dorpjes, soms op een heuveltop, waar je je soms in de middeleeuwen waant, en altijd goede wijn kunt drinken. Het huis is ruim en geschikt, en vooral ook schoon om met zijn zevenen luxueus te verblijven. De keuken is goed geoutilleerd en werd het meest gebruikt, de centrale plek voor gezelligheid. Ik ben zeer tevreden en is zeer zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Rust, prachtig echt vakantie

Wat ligt dit huis prachtig, even denk je waar ben ik, maar naar 1 biertje bij het authentiek barretje en tevens buurtsuper weet je waar je bent, het prachtige Italië waar de tijd heeft stil gestaan. Het huis heeft alles wat je kan verwachten en meer. Zwembad is zeker een must met het prachtige weer. Maar ook een dagje dvd tje kijken was aangenaam. Goede ruime keuken waar je je heerlijk kan uitleven. We waren met drie gezinnen, 6 kinderen. Geen enkel probleem. Omgeving was bekend, maar toch weer nieuwe dingen ontdekt mede dankzij behulpzame dorpsgenoten op de sagra. Verder was het schoon en is de tuin geweldig goed onderhouden

We love to stay in this place. The house is very enjoyable, with a large swimming pool and a beautiful olive tree garden. From here, one can easily visit all of the beautiful cities and small towns in Tuscany and Umbria. The environment is also lovely for cycling and hiking.

The house is situated in a hamlet where people are friendly and open towards holidaymakers. There is a small bar and a small convenience shop just a couple of hundreds of meters away. There, you can order your fresh bread for the next day or enjoy a cappuccino. A cooking workshop is available: either on site or somewhere else.
