Chalet Minouche - Chamonix-Homes

A perfect Chamonix chalet for up to six people with two bedrooms and a sofa bed just a short walk to Chamonix centre. Chalet Minouche has a huge covered wooden terrace with views onto the mountains and a six-man jacuzzi in the garden.



The chalet is colourfully decorated with modern furnishings. Both bedrooms have toilets and bathrooms and the main living area is open plan with floor to ceiling glass windows on one side of the chalet that lets the light pour in. The terrace has a table and chairs so you can eat outside in the summer.



The master bedroom is on the upper floor and has a double bed and a bathroom with a bath with a shower.



The lower bedroom opens on to the lower terrace with the jacuzzi. It has an attached bathroom with a shower.



The lower floor has a double sofa bed in the hallway. The bed isn't in the main living area, which is upstairs, it is downstairs in the hallway outside the lower bedroom.

Outside two cars can be parked.



Chamonix town centre is 5 minutes away on foot, and there ski bus is 3 minutes away and take you to all the ski areas in the valley.

Lovely chalet in a perfect location

We loved this very comfortable, quiet and clean chalet within a short stroll from the centre of Chamonix. Great decking area to relax after a day exploring the sights of this beautiful region.

Fantastic stay at the chalet!

The place was large, clean, and the outdoor patio had a perfect view of the mountains. 5 to 10 minute walk to town was perfect for a hiking trip - would stay here again in a heartbeat as long as there was nice weather. :)

Walkable location with beautiful views

House and decor are a little dated, minimal kitchen and bathroom provisions, very warm on hot days. No AC or screens on windows, just a few fans for cooling. However kitchen and living room look out on a great view and location makes walking to a handful of great restaurants, village center and trailways very easy. Very quiet neighborhood which was lovely.

Chalet magnifique dans un écrin de verdure

Chalet spacieux, très bien équipé, d'une propreté irréprochable dans un cadre magnifique. Avons apprécié le calme, la vue sublime depuis la grande terrasse, le spa et surtout la gentillesse des voisins qui sont très aimables et discrets. On se sent chez soi dans le chalet Minouche. Bravo à Bob, pour sa disponibilité, sa réactivité et sa gentillesse. Je recommande Chamonix Homes pour leur excellente organisation et leur disponibilité. Nous reviendrons dans ce superbe chalet. Perfect Retreat for our Family

The place was great for our family. We enjoyed the peaceful location. Also the layout of the chalet on two floors was helpful for kids' nap time and early bed time. Of course, the hot tub is always a hit. We really appreciate the extra effort the hosts took to get the place ready for us.

Wonderful chalet in Chamonix!

We had a fantastic 5 days in Chamonix staying in Chalet Minouche. Walking distance to centre and cable cars. Lovely clean well appointed chalet with lovely views of the mountains. Hot tub must be amazing in winter but it weather was scorching so not for us. Five minutes walk to outdoor pool. So much to do in the outdoors in Chamonix valley then returning to a rainfall shower and chill out on the deck...perfect.

un endroit très agréable, bien situé avec du charme

Nous avons loué ce chalet quelques jours pendant le marathon du Mont-Blanc. Nous étions 6 adultes. Le chalet est proche du centre ce qui nous a permis de laisser la voiture. Il est fonctionnel, spacieux et très agréable à vivre. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de profiter du jacuzzi. Ce sera pour la prochaine fois car nous reviendrons certainement.

Cozy place, excellent location, friendly neighbors.

By far the best thing about this place is the location. It's just a short walk from town and two bus stops that will take you anywhere in and around Chamonix. Great views of the North facing slopes. While the sleeping spaces may be a little tight, they are plenty comfortable after a long day (or five) of skiing. The kitchen/living room/deck is a fantastic set up. Only issue we had while there was the wifi. But there was a jacuzzi-a very spacious jacuzzi.

Fabulous Place in a Great Location

The property was as described, very clean and had everything we needed for 2 weeks in Chamonix. The service from Mont Blanc Retreats was brilliant. I am gluten free and they helped out with recommendations for places to go. Very helpful advice and always at the end of the phone if we needed them. The very friendly owners live next door but never bothered us, only to say hello. The views from the property were fantastic, and the location is lovely and quiet for relaxing days and evenings yet only a few minutes walk into town for drinks and food (or fewer to the local bar). We could get to many of the ski lifts from the property without having to drive or take a bus, there are so many routes you really don't need to travel far. We would not hesitate to go back to this property, the views, tranquillity and facilities it offers can not be beaten in Chamonix. Hot tub particularly good after a day hiking!

not so cute as in pictures

the house is pretty cute but there is no privacy especially when you use the jacuzzy outside the house. there are a lot of people walking around the garden and you cannot relax yourself. there is a lot of noise coming from the street near the house. the cleaning was not perfect. not recommended.

Great property with a wonderful open plan living area. Marvellous views and a real sun trap.

The large comfortable living area was a lovely space relax in. The covered balcony was great to sit in on a perfect February sunny day - in shorts with splendid views of Mont Blanc and the Aguille du Midi. It would afford good shade in Summer. The generous hot tub was a real hit with the whole family. I couldn't praise the ski drop off and collect service enough. Great kit and all well fitting and delivered by a really pleasant chap. Bob at Mont Blanc Retreats has been really helpful with our booking. The location of the property is good as you are in Chamonix centre after a few minutes stroll on the level.

Perfect location

Chalet Minouche is ideally situated as it is within a few minutes walk of Chamonix centre whilst being very secluded and quiet. The listing description was borne out entirely by the reality, although the views were even more impressive from the balcony than the pictures convey! The property was very clean and tidy and the regular linen change worked perfectly. The owners live next door ( the chalet is managed by a separate company) and they are really friendly and welcoming without in any way being intrusive. We would certainly recommend Chalet Minouche for anyone who loves the mountains and the outdoor life. Parking is excellent and access to the Chamonix Valley couldn't be easier. The celebrated Chamonix micro brewery is a couple of minutes away, and a brilliant place to have a beer after a hard day in the hills. We certainly hope to return!

a beautiful place to stay

The house is very nice and the views are wonderful, it is also located near the center of Chamonix. The house is very well supplied, the only problema is the internet connection that doesn't work properly all the time.

Lovely property - drop dead gorgeous location.

We were blown away by the property, the living area was huge and Bob couldn't have been more helpful. The location was really impressive, very close to the centre (10 mins) but with views of Mt Blanc and surrounding mountains to wake us up each day. The hot tub and balcony were well used at the end of each day. Excellent stay thanks.

Repeat Stay as so good last year.

We love Chamonix and had another great 2 week stay in this lovely Chalet, Mont Blanc retreats mades sure it all ran smoothly and the Hot Tub was much welcome after a good hike or bike ride. So much to do in Chamonix that 2 weeks still not enough and this property is so convenient for an easy walk into town.

Fantastic Chalet - perfect for a week away

Very spacious & well equipped Chalet for 4 people (2 couples). Stunning views of Mont Blanc & surrounding peaks with great sliding patio doors out onto balcony. Best view was waking up in the upstairs bedroom to the sun rising above the peaks! 5 minutes walk to town centre & all shops - perfect. Owners live next door - Chalet is actually semi-detached. Private drive & reasonably secluded but just off main valley road so easy to get to all resorts. Spotlessly clean - definitely wish to return at some time

Superb Luxury Chalet overlooking Mont Blanc

Fantastic Chalet just a few minutes walk from the Town centre, Superb First Floor living area with a huge Kitchen/Brek, massive balcony, and comfy lounge. Big garage for our Mountain Bikes, downstairs accom is great for kids with en suite and a sunken Jacuzzi on the terrace. Its all newly done so immaculate and clean. We had a great week and Chamonix is superb in the Summer with so much to do, we are going to return to this one in 2014 and Bob at Mont Blanc retreats was great to deal with and made sure everything was in order for us. If you are looking for a good activity holiday in an amazing setting look no further and we highly recommend it.
