Beautiful Gite, Private Pool, Magnificent views!!!

Hello Stephen, Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed the generous welcome pack and smooth check-in. Yes the comfy super-king bed has been noted as a real positive by many guests. I'm sorry you found the kitchen area small for you, this is usually sufficient for one or two people depending on their size. As you know the kitchen is fully equipped for a holiday let with full size cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, with plenty of storage and several levels of prep area. Most of our guests have a tendency to eat out as well as in, but appreciate you preferred to stay in for most of your holiday. The access to the swimming pool via a staircase of 10 steps (not a ladder) from the Gite barn is manageable for most people (I'm sorry you had to go up sideways) again this was unfortunate. Most people take snacks up to the pool and pop back down for the loo which should only take a few minutes, again I apologise for the inconvenience if this took you longer. Unfortunately when people book the Gite I am unaware of their limitations, despite this I am glad you enjoyed your holiday and had good weather by the pool. In my review I did give you a 4 star rating as I was disappointed you left all your rubbish bags in the Gite, despite the bins being a 4 minute walk away. The kitchen area was particularly sticky and dirty with food waste chucked behind the bin, in addition to this there was a collection of around 6 used toilet rolls in the bathroom just left on the windowsill, along with a full bin. Some hosts would have applied an extra cleaning charge but I didn't. Again thank you for your feedback, I always endeavour to strive for high standards for guests. Kind regards, Catherine
